@naut I guessing that the fact that you never know how hard your going to get hit, if you'll get knocked down onto a rock, and take environmental damage would be have to be considered.

There was a video a few weeks back, that showed Link taking initial damage from an enemy, or explosion (can't recall which), but as he was sliding across the rocky terrain there was extra damage taken just from that also.

@SirRandall How is it an overreaction? @SLIGEACH_EIRE Has a legitimate point. I shouldn't have to rely on my tech savvy in order to enjoy something. Most of the people Nintendo is trying to attract aren't looking to buy something that eventually turns into a DIY project. Its a potential flaw, costs of the replacement service should stated since they obviously made a point to mention it two weeks after its reveal.

@Ichi-Tan Not that it changes much, but they are wooden bokken not just sticks. Most animations make it look questionable but others move you can definitely tell its not just some lazy stick image.

@JaxonH I meant life support as far as story and gameplay. Not monetary wise. The reason these games keep churning out so frequently is solely because of that.

Don't add something to the post I never said. Not sure where you got I didn't like them from. AC 3 and 4 were good in my book, they actually introduced something new to the series. I'd rather see something go out gracefully than become a shell of its former self.
