@Damo it's sound like he is making fun comment about this article ... but In general when I see his negative comments about Nintendo lately ( last 3 years ) I agree with him ... Nintendo is not the same anymore specially if you own Xbox or ps4 ... I used to play only Nintendo but after I bought pa4 and Xbox I found that I lost too many great games specially that they offer a lot of amazing stuff deals discount and amazing support with everything and a nice console price comparing to Nintendo pathatic Wii U price ... yes him , me and many others are not happy about. Nintendo and we need to show that maybe they can change Nintendo to the best ... by the end we check this website every day and post a comment because we are loyal to Nintendo while they are not to us

Had it been XL models, I was in. I can't stand very small screens anymore, I've been spoiled too much by phones and tablets to want to go back, and yet I love my 3DS, but it's just too tough for me to play on it for long periods of time like I used to.

At the risk of sounding too negative 😉, good luck if you're ordering from Nintendo UK. I've just come off their Facebook page and there are allot of seriously pissed Xmas shoppers kicking off!! Nothing to do with my Xmas but they seem to be struggling at the moment......

Don't really think it's a particularly great deal! I got a 3DS XL with Mario Kart 7 for £130 3 years ago. I know that's not a 'New 3DS' but it was the latest/most expensive model at the time. Would expect things to be a lot cheaper by now, especially the small model.

Would love to see them match the $99 deal the US got recently. THAT was a bargain.

considering the black friday $99USD (139$ CAD) deal for the N3DS, this isn't a deal, a digital game adds no real value especially if you already own or do not care for said games. Great that it's discounted,

150 pounds is 175 euro.
We can get new 3ds here for 150 and the game for 25. So 15 euro discount. I have seen better deals actually, but its not bad at all.

Wow, those are some amazing bundles. Are they not a bit pricey though? Granted, I'm in the States, so I don't have the best reference for pricing, but was the New 3DS Mario Edition not also 99 pounds? I was one of the lucky few to get a black one from Amazon in the pitiful amount of time they were up (and yes only one, I'm no scalper,) but they were $99 US.
The only game I could even remotely justify an additional $50 for would be MH4U, but only to a fan who for some reason hasn't already played it. Over two hundred fifty hours is what I've got logged in that one, so that'd be fine value; the other games just don't seem as time/cost efficient. That said, I've not yet played Xenoblade Chronicles 3D (it's a Christmas gift though!) but see myself putting in big numbers of hours.
But I'm also a huge sucker for faceplates and know how much price they command on the market — heck, the XC3D cover plates are nearly $40 any time I see them on Amazon. Not to mention the newfound rarity of XC3D itself (here in the States, at least).
Regardless of my personal opinions and tastes, these are all really great bundles for any region, I hope NoA realizes just how much we'd like seeing bundles like them over here. Not every American is a behemoth with giant sausage-fingers that demand a New 3DS XL to be able to play. And also some folks like black.

EU gets the shaft on super late games, but we get spoiled with consoles, which I suppose is a good trade off, as we do get the games eventually (I'm looking at you Yo-Kai Watch 2, Dragon Ball Fusions, and others >.>)

I have a PS4 also. A PS4 Pro and PSVR in fact. And an Xbox One.

But that doesn't mean I'm suddenly not happy playing Nintendo games. Ya there's a lot of great games on other platforms... hence... why I own other platforms. But you make it sound like because the PS4 and X1 exist, Nintendo suddenly has zero value and all we should do is complain because we're "caring fans". As if this is the "official Nintendo customer feedback forum" anyways. Nothing said here is heard by Nintendo.

Nintendo games are just as fun as they've always been. PS4 and X1 don't change that fact. Are there changes I hope Nintendo makes like online accounts and crossbuy (crossbuy will be solved with Switch, and even superior to PS4)? Absolutely. Just like I hope Sony makes changes with allowing external drives, and MS makes changes like allowing you to use your account balance for 360 games. There's areas where all 3 could be better. But I'm not gonna use that as a pretence to be perpetually dissatisfied.

Erring a grievance once in a while... sure. We all do that. But what you said there is on a whole other level. Acting as if because PS4 and X1 are good consoles, that suddenly makes Nintendo no good at all, makes them so inferior, and we just need to complain about non-stop (in the name of "making them better").

It's just video games. We come here to talk about them, share in our experiences and discuss what we liked, maybe what we didn't like, etc. But people's focus has drifted so far from that nowadays. People treat video games like football fanatics more than they do a hobby they enjoy and want to discuss.

I wasn't being negative. We were asked a simple question and I gave a simple answer. I didn't knock the deal. I hadn't time earlier for a longer answer.

@Damo I have to justify and clarify why I said no? I guarantee if I had said yes nobody would have said anything. As I said, I didn't say anything negative. That's how it's construed but it's not.

Edit: And Santa won't be bringing me the NES Classic Mini for Christmas even though I ordered it in July from Nintendo UK's official store partner(Zavvi) only for them to cancel it. And then again, a second time this time Nintendo cancelled it. So, ya, it can be hard to be positive at times. Not to mention Switch missing the biggest sales period of the year or that there's not a single game from Nintendo for the Wii U this holiday either. And so it continues.

And let the whiners whinge. I don't break any rules. They can't stand a voice that dares speak negatively about Nintendo. Or how they're allowed bash my comments but they're not removed when reported.

I need no more faceplates after I got the hanafuda one.

It's not that great a deal considering the US got a similar model for $99. Yes the UK deal does come with a game, but never the less it's just another example of the U.K. and Europe having to pay more the the USA.

I sold my New XL and got this version (US). Finally the ability to change faceplates, and no more paint chipping off. Most games also look far better on a smaller screen.

I really want a New 3DS to go alongside my New 3DS XL, so I can actually use the numerous faceplates I've collected over the past couple of years (because they look awesome). But I'll need the price to be lower than this before I can justify purchasing one as 'backup'. I think they're worth this price for first time buyers though, even those upgrading from an original model, it's a great system and they really got most things right with the 'New' models: you actually CAN use the 3D setting on them.

It's whether to go white or black? The SNES coloured buttons look better on white, but most of the faceplates I have would look better on the black model.
