I've recently played Pikmin 3 for the first time in my life and it was beyond great.... but at the same time really frustrating. I just could not stand seeing my Pikmin dying. So yeah... Pikmin 4 is a must for me - I'm ready for more emotional scars.
@hashkey Minecraft has sold 3.2 million units on Switch as of October 2022. There is a comprehensive List of best-selling Nintendo Switch video games on Wikipedia))
OMG this game has just pissed me off. Controls are clunky and unintuitive and it feels like you're always struggling with the game mechanics. Sorry, but a hard pass for me.
Yep, my favourite XC game. I'm currently deep into XC3, and it's really good but the XC2 just knocks it out of the park. Battle system is deep and nuanced, world exploration really rewards you with interesting discoveries, you can actually spend the money on something and the plot is really gripping and emotional. Furthermore - Pyra. Enough said.
Probably the best "choose-your-adventure" videogame I've ever played - full of emotion, adventure and unexpected twists and turns. The ending is just phenomenal - I'm really tempted to play through it once again.
Try it! One of the best Star Wars games in existence: deep and intricate writing (every crewmember has his/her backstory and it’s up to you to unveil it), fun gameplay and mechanics, lots of locations to explore. Yeah, the graphics look kinda rough, but there’s a certain charm to it. And then there’s Kreia - my favourite SW character ever.
@FishyS Well, yeah. That's a really good point: if I want my PC games on the go, I'll take my laptop with me. Furthermore, I mostly play real-time strategy games on my PC and I cannot imagine using the Steam Deck for that purpose.
Hm. But you could change class in XC2. For example, Morag is a Tank class, but the player can equip her with 3 Attack class Blades and she’ll automatically become an attacker herself. Furthermore, each blade had its own weapons - like a spear, a hammer etc. so… technically, nothing new here?
Well, I've just finished XC2 and I can safely say that's it's of the best RPGs of our time. Goosebumps - they're real. I'm really tempted to the start the "New Game Plus" mode but I've still got like 50 more games to play... Anyway. I'm definitely hyped for the 3rd installment.
@Zebetite yep. And my ignorance is bliss. As is yours, since you clearly have no understanding of the supply-side economics. Since there is a demand for NFTs, companies will offer them. So there is a simple solution to the problem, which doesn’t include lots of typing and blaming - don’t buy it. Lower the demand. Quite simple actually. You can still buy your shiny toys though - thus way you will show the supplier your real demand. Cheers, mate.
Gex was actually quite awesome at the time - I only had a Mega Drive (genesis) but my friend's parents bought him the 3DO console and it was awesome. I know it's getting a lot of bad rap lately but and the time is was very spectacular. And the Gex game was one of the highlights))
@ProjectShadow Are you sure that it takes place in winter 1945? On the official site it says: "set during World War 2 and the German occupation of Denmark". So... I don't think the date is specified at all. But still if we're talking about 1945, maybe the developers meant January or February of 1945?
Actually looks like a compelling game - not for the gameplay itself, but for the setting. The worlds looks like it's highly detailed which is always a plus in my book.
@themightyant nah, this is mostly a marketing scheme. Nintendo is still considered as a baby-console in Russia and they want to break the mould. Furthermore, Sony and especially PC-games all have regional prices, which reflect the GDP and average wages.
Well, I guess this wouldn’t effect physical. Physical games are cheaper in Russia than the digital versions - heck, you can buy Pikmin 3 for 1100 roubles, which is like 13 euros. Anyway - good policy.
Really happy to play this game once again (one of my favourites) but I also hope for KOTOR2 on the Switch, which is superior in almost any way. IMHO, of course.
If you love tabletop games, RPGs and/or turn-based combat, then you need to try those games - they’re beyond awesome. I’ve beaten one of Shadowrun games on my iPad five years ago and now I’m stoked to revisit all three installments on my Switch!

Re: The Witcher's Netflix Series Announces "Fifth And Final Season"
These series are really bad for many reasons, bit its main sin is that it's really boring. Boooooooooooring.
And it has nothing to do with the books or games - it's just boring on its own.
