Re: New Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Trailer Shows Breath Of The Wild's Robbie and Purah

@TheFrenchiestFry Yes, of course, I agree. My argument is more that to make the open world with the possibilty they wanted, they had to make the story in a way in which you could see it in any order with the memories, plus quests, diaries and so on. So basically exploring the world. I think that a more focused story can only come if they give less freedom, be it in an open world or a more linear zelda, and in that way, we lose a lot of the appeal of botw world and its freedom.

That was obvious. I'm still amazed that people believed that this would get removed. You can bet with me that the same will happen with 3D All Stars and it won't get removed either.

This is all marketing stunt to get people to download the app until they say that it'll continue on there. Same for 3D All Stars, or even a new version of a console where you don't announce it's coming and leave people to buy the old model. 2020 and people still didn't learn how those things works

Re: Oops! Nintendo Seems To Have Accidentally Revealed Kirby Fighters 2

Nemesis666

@Totakekeke Your post makes absolutely no sense. Kirby games sells more than any of those franchises you mentioned and Kirby games are produced because Hal Laboratory exists and co-own the franchise with Nintendo.

@Ooyah eshop games from Nintendo always go between 15 and 20 dollars. Kirby games that launched on eshop only for 3ds were between 5 and 15 dollars.

Re: Video: The Problem With The Super Mario 3D All-Stars Release

@AtlanteanMan No, it's not a third party game, at least on our region. It's being released by Nintendo outside of Japan as part of the deal of licensing the IP (as they get more money), plus the fact that the Zelda team is working alongside KT to release it on story, graphics, etc. Plus, your insistence on "in-house" is also bizarre when Nintendo games are mostly developed by contractors, with Nintendo SPD/EAD in the past producing them and since 2015 after the merger, Nintendo EPD producing it with 3 of its departments focused on production of external developed titles. At this point I recommend you to give a read to this thread: https://www.resetera.com/threads/nintendo-first-party-thread-ot3-internal-x-external-x-publishing-whats-cooking.116419/

And your argument of Wii U ports is wrong. Not only because Nintendo released more than 20 new games into the system but Wii U ports are games developed and with added content to fill up the gaps on what wouldn't have anything on the month, plus giving time to the development team as a side project. 3D World port? It's a side project of Nintendo EPD Tokyo with them working on the new content (and they work on a new 3D Mario), while NST work on the port and implementation of the online. Those ports aren't getting resources from new games, they are being used to give time to the team and to also give content where otherwise a gap would be there, so while a new 3D Mario is being developed, 3D World is coming to not have this team not releasing anything in that period of 3-4 years of development.

@AtlanteanMan You don't know what you're talking about, even more with how huge the demand of Switch is on every market.

Hyrule Warriors 2 is literally their game for the Holidays. 3D All Stars launched on September and it's just limited because of it being from the anniversary, much like the 3D All Stars on Wii was for the 25th.

No, it literally is very good for business. You guys are terrible with those analysis as always. Being a good thing for business isn't the same as being for the consumer. If you're going to analyze it from the viewpoint of Nintendo as a company, it's a pretty good decision. If by the consumer, no it isn't. But that's not what the author of this article did.

@AtlanteanMan ?? Are you nuts dude? In Iwata's leadership there was tons of garbage on the Wii and Wii U shop. Plus, VC died already on his own leadership. Don't forget that the entire switch and all of it were made under him, so the following presidents only followed on his ternure. Mobile, Parks, expansion and the Switch all came and were developed under Iwata ternure.
