Re: River City Ransom Director & Miracle Kidz President Passes Away

I loved Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game, which was inspired by River City Ransom a lot.

When River City Ransome was available on 3DS Virtual Console my best Friend and i bought it and played through the whole Game together. It was a lot of Fun.

Rest in Peace, Mitsuhiro Yoshida

@BowtieShyGuy @RupeeClock I'm aware of the spending limit. Team Kirby Clash Deluxe did pretty much the same thing.

The difference for me was, i got the physical Version of Pokémon Rumble World for 15€, around 2-3 Months later. Free to Play or not, i think World was decent for the most part, but it pales compared to Pokémon Rumble Blast, which you could also get rather cheap at that time.

Pokémon Rumble Rush on Mobile was a far bigger disappointment. The Gameplay war really gimped down to work on Smartphones and they added far to many microtransactions.

Only the first two Pokémon Rumble Games really mattered to me. The first Game on WiiWare was a blast in Multiplayer, since everyone could understand the Gameplay immediately. There wasn't much substance, but it was fun in short bursts.

The secend Game on 3DS had a much stronger Focus on Single Player and added a lot off stuff, that made it well suited for Handheld Gaming.

Pokémon Rumble U was okay, but got dull really fast, because every Level was just a small Arena. Surprisingly Pokémon Rumble World wasn't that bad, if you're playing the Retail Version. Free to Play doesn't really work for this Series and pretty much killed it, in my opinion.

I would love to play a new Pokémon Rumble Game, that would expand on the Ideas of the first two Games.

Re: Limited Run Hopes To Do "A Few More" 3DS Releases If Atooi's Physical Collection Is Successful

Nagi

Kinda forgot about that. I still wonder why they even bother with this, unless they also release european Cartridges or make them Region Free.

I still love the 3DS and seeing a couple more Retail Games on it would be cool, but i think that's not how it should be done.

Not to mention that i kinda don't like Limited Run Games anyway, but that has nothing to do with this Release.

Re: A Revised Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Has Been Spotted In Stores

@brunojenso Some people just prefer clicky D-Pads to soft ones and vise versa. That's nothing out of the ordinary. I just prefer D-Pads more in line with those on 3DS, PS Vita and Xbox One.

I'm fine with soft D-Pads, but there are so many better alternatives on Switch compared to the Pro Controller.

Re: A Revised Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Has Been Spotted In Stores

@OorWullie I don't even use the Pro Controller anymore when navigating the eShop because the D-Pad seems to have a mind of its own.

Most Systems in the 3DS Family had very reliable D-Pads, so i don't get why they constantly screw it up with their Home Consoles recently.
It's hard to believe now that Nintendo basically invented the D-Pad in the past.

I understand some of the complains in this Review, but how is "likely to be an online wasteland within weeks" a valid Con?
I don't think Reviews are supposed to predict the Future and base their Score on that.
Well, maybe you should've done that in your Crash Team Racing Review instead.

Re: Feature: Best Pokémon Games Of All Time

Hey Nintendolife, you know there are other Pokémon Games beside the Main ones, right?
You should make a Best of List about them to, instead of rehashing this Article again and again.
