Re: Can Androids Pray:blue

This was disappointing. The experience is maybe 15 minutes long and has no gameplay other than a handful of dialogue options. The answers don't feel like they have much weight, frequently the other character just talks about something else after you make a choice. The graphics are very simple, and other than particle smoke there is no animation at all.
You can recreate this experience as a set of powerpoint slides and lose nothing of the impact.

Re: Monstrum Brings Permadeath Survival Horror To Switch Next Month

After "Hollow" and "Phantaruk"...now "Monstrum", another mediocre survival horror title set on a spaceship, or actually good this time? :/

Ever since we got Burnout Paradise Remastered, I got my hopes up on a Dead Space Remastered on Switch. Come on EA!

EDIT: Oh man, I am a simple mind. I read "CARGO SHIP", and immediately placed it in space. ^^; So it's Bioshock instead? Let's see!

@Fearful-Octopus if you ever get to play it - the Dreamcast version has superior sound compared to the gamecube. Otherwise the later game is better with more optional content, but as the music was something I really liked about the original I never quite got over how muffled and out of sync the music sounds (already in the first minute).

Re: A New DOOM Eternal Trailer Is Headed Our Way Tomorrow

@carlos82 I didn't play on the highest difficulty and also had no other version to compare it to - maybe that's why I didn't notice the flaws as much as you did.
My take away is that if I avoid seeing Doom Eternal on any high powered 4K 60pfs HDR device, I should have the same fun as with the previous part/port.

@Yodalovesu "occasionally the game just won't let you pick certain dialog options" Isn't that only if your mood doesn't allow for certain options? I found it interesting how you are not completely free in your dialogue, as your character needs to be calm to give non-angry replies etc. But I guess you are also right, surely there are some "non-options" when the narrative requires it.
