@Nintendzoey It's just a very interesting franchise. Has bits for most people to talk about. I don't usually concern myself with Star Wars but if someone else brings it up there's a lot to talk about regarding it. I'm not sure why it bothers you, perhaps you should just go see the movie so you know what people are talking about and then you don't have to worry anymore. It's not like Star Wars is evil or anything. At least I don't think so lol
Yeah there are some people who are obsessed, but I think it shows up a lot because it's very neutral, i.e., everyone can enjoy Star Wars. Perhaps you got all the obsessed people? Idk.
So sick of this nonsense. So done with the series, where's my next Advance Wars...
Regardless of the amount of "flak" anyone gets, you have to realize that an honest person seeking truth and justice will pretty much always get said flak and hatred. There are bad people on both sides of the coin, just as there are good people on both too. Please drop the stereotypes; it hurts you more than you know.
Didn't they say a little bit about what Retro studios was doing, like that it wasn't a DK or Metroid game? Actually, isn't it a new ip, or is that someone else?
@Spin They give you Christmas cards? That's awesome and hilarious! Do they have any marketable stuff inside, like a gift shop?
@LavaTwilight ha ha ha, I'm just saying if you believe Nintendo will make a comeback in the stock market (if you believe), you want to buy stock when it's at an all time low, right? It's a huge gamble, but you'll make the most money that way if the winds blow in your favor!
I think the PC version is good enough for me. A shame, but I just don't want to get a downgraded version. Fantastic game though!
Also I get that some people just do whatever, but I really like Terraria because it's more objective based than other sandbox games like Minecraft. There are very real objectives, it's just that the game lets you figure it out for yourself or look it up online.
3DS wasn't so hot but that's because the handheld is winding down. And for me, that's a good thing. I have more time to dedicate to consoles now, so I don't really want to use my 3DS all that much anyway.
And not too much Wii U stuff, but what we did get has been fantastic! Woolly World, Mario Maker, and Splatoon are all fantastic games, and I will continue to play the last two for quite some time!
I knew it would happen at some point. But thank goodness for the timestamp. No matter what the outcome of the accusation is, you have proof you did the idea first.
Gen 4 is the one I spent the most time with, and it was the one I was able to share the most with friends. Even though I remember gen 3 more fondly.
Unless I missed it, you forgot the underground. Man that was some of the most fun multiplayer shenanigans I've ever had. It was so fun to send my friends on wild trap rides and make base mazes while we tried to reach that 50 flag rank, or whatever.
And I never knew about the move mechanic change. That's interesting.
One more thing...if I remember correctly, you couldn't get half of the evolution extentions until you beat the elite four, right? That was a funny one.
@JubilifeRival They are completely different games. And I prefer Terraria. My point is that the things I liked about Minecraft were not the main focus. Exploring for ore in Minecraft is my favorite thing to do, but it's so simplistic. I've tried mods for quite sometime and then I realized that Terraria is simply more of what I'm looking for. If I want to be creative I prefer to draw or code; when I want to play a video game I'm much more objective focused. If I create a giant castle I want something cool to come out of it, not just sit there and watch it. And as you know in Terraria if you build a nice house, NPCs will move into it! I also can't stand how there's no difference in the underground wherever you go, except for Emerald in Extreme Hills. My favorite part of the game gets very repetitive after a while.
I get the value of Minecraft and I don't see why having a personal preference is a problem. Perhaps I could've worded better.
I'm not against it because I have it on another platform, but because I'm so done with that game. Dig straight down, get diamond armor. Boring. I'll play Terraria thank you.
Can't check out the trailer atm, but I'm quite excited for this game. The review will be important though, cause $17 for an eshop game is enough to make me wait for some opinions. I also want a synopsis on the length; if it's long enough I'll pick it up immediately. Looking for some 3ds longevity, as I haven't used it in a while.
As good of a game Terraria is I've already burned through my PC version.

Gastly money box?
Re: Video: Chandelure Looks Predictably Weird in Pokkén Tournament Footage
Definitely the best thing to happen to this game so far.
Re: Rumour: Super Smash Bros. Planned as NX Launch Title, Bandai Namco Working on "Several" Games
Just make me not want the NX. I don't want to but another console atm.
Re: The North American eShop Winter Warm-Up Sale Concludes With 15 More Discounts
So many games I'd almost want
Re: Video: Watch The Epic Pokémon Super Bowl Commercial Right Here
I admit it was cool, but it was also a bit strange and kind of confusing.
Re: Rumour: Intelligent Systems Is Working On New Paper Mario For Wii U
Let's do it right!
Re: Nintendo Download: 21st January (North America)
Why is it always "this week"? I mean, it's ok I guess, but like, I want to get Zack & Wiki eventually, but not now.
Re: Site News: Retiring Our Super Mario Maker Course Sharer
Oh whoa! Frank is in your screenshot! He must be gaining in popularity!
Re: Site News: Retiring Our Super Mario Maker Course Sharer
I still like yours better! It's a shame it's not integrated into the game like Nintendo's is.

This should be ok Santa...please tell me if not.
Re: ESPN Plans On Broadcasting Super Smash Bros. Events
Oh nice! I don't care that much, but that's still quite neat and I'm sure the community will like to hear that.

I really enjoyed these games, but after a while you've seen every level like a zillion times.

Re: Video: Super Mario Bros. Z, a Stylish Sprite-Based Animated Series, is Back
Waluigi and Wario are hilarious.
The nostalgia on this one. The cartoon style is fantastic and my favorite thing is that it fleshes out all my favorite characters.
Re: Splatoon's Next Splatfest in North America is All About Time Travel
I'm gonna have to agree with Patchy the Pirate on this one. The future is so cliche.
Re: Analysis: Assessing Why NX Needs to Take Over From Both the Wii U and 3DS
If the share price is going down, that just means it's time to invest!

@Dr_Lugae Nice! Thanks for the insight!

Happy New Year!
That's cool you showed us the top viewed articles, how interesting!

Enjoy the holidays everyone!!! I sure am enjoying mine!
Re: Weirdness: Gaming's Most Infamous Bad Guys Have Formed The World's Most Awesome Band
That's really cool and well done, but like I was worried about, I checked the iTunes link and some of the songs are explicit...
Man I can't stand checking for lyrics...
Re: Sales for Dementium Remastered Have Been Much Lower Than Expected
Sometimes I wonder if I should like mature/horror games to support the people who make them...and then I realize what exactly that would entail...
I still don't get the hype. But really, I'm a high fantasy kind of guy.
Re: Talking Point: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS Set a Standard That'll Be Tough to Follow
Good points in the article. The pricing is a bit ridiculous, but you don't have to buy any dlc.
My smash is all worn out I think...but only time will tell. Let's see if I even get the NX.
Re: Upcoming Super Mario Maker Update Adds P Warp Doors, the Fire Koopa Clown Car and More
So ready to have time for this game again.
Re: Feature: Time to Vote for Your Nintendo Life Game of the Year Awards 2015
Splatoon bby! Talk about how it should be X all you want, I'm going to have way more play time in Splatoon than X.
And wow, can't believe I haven't gotten a 3ds retail game this year yet.
Re: Accusations of Plagiarism Directed at Popular Super Mario Maker Level Creator

@NintyMan I doubt they know who that is, but Snow Miser vs. Heat Miser would be the best thing ever!!!

Wow, 100 comments on an article about the things that have been discussed extensively in the past few days.

I still have the DS version. It was a hilarious little game but I ran out of steam after a bit. Will beat it one day though.

That's it, I'm getting the game right now.

Ok, well, when I have the time...things are pretty busy atm.
Re: Poll: Are You Excited About Minecraft: Wii U Edition, Or Is It Too Late?
@JubilifeRival All good, I should really watch the way I word things. I make wacky comments off the cuff every once and a while.

Re: Review: SteamWorld Heist (3DS eShop)
So you can shoot people's hats off if you want to wear them, "wasting" a turn, but you don't get the hat if you just destroy them? That's amazing!!!
Re: Nintendo Confirms Details for the Super Smash Bros. Direct
It won't live up to the hype unless we get ballot results!

How is this so good? Is he a graphics designer?
All I want in another AC is the option to have days go by manually.

Why did I feel like I knew Sceptile was already in? Clearly I couldn't have...
Regardless, this makes a lot of sense.
Re: Minecraft Finally Digs Its Way Onto the Wii U eShop on 17th December
$30? Ok... I got the PC version with all those free updates for $10.
Kind of silly but whatever. I've played Minecraft way too much anyway.
Re: Nintendo's Next European Splatfest is the Most Random Yet
@Maxz I've never looked at it that way. That's a really cool perspective.
Although the choice for me is obvious.
Re: Sega Slashes Full-Year Net Profit Projection By 90 Percent
Wow the comments are getting heated over this one guy's comment...
I don't know what to say except please don't make scum out of yourselves by telling him he's scum, if you know what I mean.
This is the internet people, there are ridiculous comments just so those comments can get attention!!!
I find the lack of understanding on the other side a bit interesting...of course not all the replies but some of them.
Re: Nintendo Smartens Up For "Super Moschino" Collection Of Shirts, Sweaters And Accessories
Pants are so last year guys.
Seriously though, I don't know why some girls wear pants so short if you can even call it pants. At some point it's just two pairs of underwear.
Pants are stylish, pants are hip (or skirts, ya know what I'm getting at).
