The original Hyrule Warriors before those BOTW ones got a better canon explanation for different times ending up at the same play than the whole entirety of BOTW and TOTK mashing togethers multiple game references.
I feel like people always forget GameFreak made games were never a graphical showcase of the systems they were released on, of course there was better looking pokemon games but they were made by a different studio like HAL Laboratory during N64 and for Gamecube to Switch with got Genius Sonority, ILCA and BandaiNamco Studios.
Even Champions is given to The Pokémon Works which is a joint between TPC and ILCA. If they would want a game pushing the system they are on they could always have Monolith Soft to work on it.
From what I gather from the Switch Remaster it's the same version of half-assed Remaster we got on Steam as a bonus for pre-ordering Zestiria. I think even modder had an hard time to even make it work at 60FPS
I'm sure most of the pictures won't make it into the game just like many of BOTW concept arts didn't make it to the final game. There wasn't much to spoil in there, and from what I've seen this looked more like an expansion than a sequel.
Also I'm sure people will treat the game like a masterpiece 10/10 with the 3 extra points just for having the name Zelda.
Other than graphical issues with the game it's still the best in gameplay and story since Gen 5. I just wonder how some of PLA features didn't make it in the game and also why they didn't have the better textures of PLA for the environment, might be because the game was too late in dev compared to PLA and they didn't have the tie to implement em.
I really wish the change to Frozen and Sleep made it same with overworld shiny sparkling and sfx.
All I get from this trailer is Team Star is another red herring evil team and the true villain is someone else and I have a feeling it's that Geeta girl.
They just became so predictable with the games now.
Oh and I also noticed sections running at 10 fps again.
Hopefully it wont need to reinstall every time you want to play it, man PTCGO had an annoying problem of not working 8 times out of 10 and needing to reinstall for it to work.
I wonder if the codes from the packs will also work on this new one.
I prefer way more how PLA plays than the traditional games. O got titred of the same formula of Go do your pokemon league with gyms get interrupted mid league by some villain team you already knew the villain since the beginning of the game because he was obviously looking like a villain, then beat em capture the legend they had and end the league with some sort of empty post game with a battle facility that is inferior to Battle Frontier.
The graphics are an improvement over Sword and Shield. With GameFreak games you mostly have to compare with their previous games and not other games. The pokemon games always were behind graphically compared to other games on the same system.
@Dog As a concept maybe for a huge world but other than that there was no dungeons like the game had or barely any puzzle for secret caves or item unlocks for traversal during the game. It borrows way more from later Open World games like Ubisoft ones.
Meanwhile for Breath of the Wild they didn't really reinvented anything, they mostly took all those open world mechanics from other games like Far Cry with the same mechanics and got rid of many staple of the series in favor of an empty open world with barely any variety in enemies compared to old games. It's more a sandbox game than anything Zelda related.
Legends Arceus at least kept what made it Pokemon by changing the whole ad nauseum usage of same evil team doing bad things because they are evil and the whole Pokemon League stuff. It focus more on the core of the series which is exploring the world and capturing Pokemon.
@Pod Well User Generated content for Neverwinter online and Star Trek Online made the games way more fun, but the devs saw players making better content than their own so they shut it down.
I get the feeling they are just gonna sell expansion pass later on to add missing features and new pokemon just like they did with Sw/Sh. They Tasted how well the expansion pass made em extra money for cutting the dex but adding back pokemon so easily with a patch even if you don't own the expansion pass.
Let's not forget even Let's Go had a physical DLC with Mew. We are now in the era of poor unfinished games that will just get patched up with DLCs at a later date.
And from what I saw the only game they can trade with other than themselves will be Legends Arceus until the update for Pokemon HOME, so they might even do some event where you need to transfer a pokemon from those remakes to Legends Arceus to get some new Pokemon Form or something similar.
There's even less moves than there was back in Gen 4 from what I heard. Also there's nothing really different between the remakes and the originals. No Battle Frontier, Distortion World and many other additions from Platinum. Mandatory EXP Share, following pokemon still act similar to SW/SH and don't even have an animation for walking they mostly just stay in their usual battle stance and slide around for most of them.
They will obviously make a Switch OLED Lite next just like they did a 2DS XL. New Switch model with improved hardware might come after just like New 3DS did.
Still a better Zelda than BOTW. Sure BOTW was more Open World, but in term of dungeons, story, enemy variety and many other things it was inferior even to Skyward Sword as a Zelda game.
@Why_Do_I_Exist Well they are cheap because it doesn't have the vibration, gyro and NFC scanner. A pro controller is 70 USD because of these features. PDP sell similar controllers to those for only 20 bucks and they even go on sale.
The problem mostly stem from Fire Emblem cast with a series that has more than just Sword Fighters but the majority of the series roster ends up using sword in Smash.

Re: Zelda Fans Are Concerned About The Free Switch 2 Updates, But Don't Worry
What I'm more concerned is why no Xenoblade games or Legends Arceus and SwSh were not shown in any form of upgrades.

@JohnnyMind I think I saw an accessory making it better for the mouse mode even before they did the direct based on the 3D printed joycons.
Re: Hands On: 'Drag x Drive' Is Fantastic, But Is It Destined To Be Switch 2's ARMS?
The main problem for this game lifespan will be people wrist hurting after long hours of playing with the 2 joycons as mice.

Re: Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom's Frame Rate Is "Even Worse" Than Link's Awakening
I didn't really get much problem with the framerate, it's mostly the camera motion blur when moving in the overworld that hurts my eyes.

Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Version 1.2.0 Launching "Late February", Here Are The Full Patch Notes
I find it funny that to get rid of crashes they will reduce the amount of pokemon and NPC displayed instead of actually fixing the problem.

This is actually Fantasy Life 3, 2 was renamed to Online and came only to mobile.

I guess they wanted to name em Orange and Grape versions but I guess they will keep those for the remakes.

Re: Pokémon Legends Arceus: Every Alpha Pokémon - Alpha Pokémon Maps
Those are just the fixed Alphas that always show up. You can get other Alphas at random showing up in the usual packs of Pokemon on the map.
Also Chimchar can show up outside Ramanas island if you want it early.
Re: Soapbox: Pokémon Legends: Arceus Raises The Question - How Much Do Janky Graphics Matter?

Glad they changed the formula for Pokemon.

Re: Just 10 Days Since Launch, Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Is Already Amazon's Third Best-Seller Of 2021
