Capcom also released its earnings report yesterday - recording another year of record sales and profits. Along with this sales update, it also mentioned how it planned to release "multiple major new titles" by March 31, 2023.
While only a small amount of these games are currently locked in for the Nintendo Switch, at the very least it provides an outline of what we can expect from Capcom for the next year. It'll be focused on plenty of heavy-hitters - one potentially being Street Fighter 6, and some new IP like Exoprimal.
Here's the full lineup of what's to come (thanks, Gematsu):
- Capcom Fighting Collection (PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC) – June 24, 2022
- Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak (Switch, PC) – June 30, 2022
- Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium (PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC) – July 22, 2022
- Resident Evil Re:Verse (PS4, Xbox One, PC) – 2022
- Resident Evil 2 (2019) (PS5, Xbox Series) – 2022
- Resident Evil 3 (2020) (PS5, Xbox Series) – 2022
- Resident Evil 7 biohazard (PS5, Xbox Series) – 2022
- Exoprimal (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, PC) – 2023
- PRAGMATA (PS5, Xbox Series, PC) – 2023
- Street Fighter 6 – TBA
As you can see games like Capcom Fighting Collection and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak DLC are part of these plans, with both arriving next month. Earlier this week, Capcom also held a special presentation for the Sunbreak DLC - revealing more about this expansion content and announcing a new themed Pro Controller for the Switch.
What do you think of the above lineup? Looking forward to the games coming to Switch? Leave a comment down below.

Thats cute, they think RE2/3/7 count despite being likely a free upgrade....
That is indeed multiple new games.
I just want hilarious Chibi Pocket Fighter game on modern consoles.
not all are coming to Switch. Don't get excited anyone.
Where is Dino Crisis Capcom.
Disney Afternoon Collection Plus for switch.
I really just want more Ace Attorney.
Remember when Mega Man went under a hiatus and fans of the series suffered through 8 years of no new Mega Man games and an embarrassing Kickstarter game that made them cry like an anime fan on prom night before actually getting a new proper entry? So glad they won't have to wait half as long for the next one...
@anoyonmus Hey don't forget the Capcom Fighting Collection.
...
And the Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium.
...
And Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak?
Ok you're right, nothing for Switch.
Let's see what Viewtiful Joe would look like in HD.
I'm looking forward to playing the enhanced versions of RE 2/3/7 again on my Series X and PS5.
I'll probably pick up Capcom Fighting Collection and Street Fighter 6.
I'd trade all of that for Ace Attorney 7.
Getting sunbreak and fighting collection. I didn’t do nearly enough with sfv so I will wait on 6 for a bit. Very low amount of female reps in that image.
Capcom give us
Very easy money grabs that we won’t complain about
Just give us all the old stuffs Capcom cause none of the new stuffs are that good. We need ports of Resident Evil 2 (not remake), Resident Evil 3 (not remake), Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, Dino Crisis 1, 2, 3, Onimusha 2 & 3, Devil May Cry 4 & 5, Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2, Gotcha Force, Ultra Street Fighter IV, and Breath of Fire III & IV.
Um, okay, but Mega Man Battle Network Collection when?
Or Mega Man 12 for that matter?
Or how about the Disney Afternoon Collection on Switch?
Or maybe work with WayForward and re-list DuckTales Remastered?
Viewtiful Joe 3, anyone?
Hey, how about Bionic Commando or ActRaiser 2 on NSO? That one wouldn't take too much effort, would it?
Or... dare I ask... Mega Man Legends 3?
Mega Man game and Breath of Fire 6...
It makes me sad that nobody asks for a Megaman X sequel .....
Its as sad as a F-Zero GX sequel not existing.
@Serpenterror Devil May Cry is new stuff. Is 2019 not old enough?
@HotGoomba just stuff announced way before hand.
We are not gonna be getting like the cool stuff like next RE, or Dragon's Dogma 2 and stuff like that
@anoyonmus Devil May Cry 4 came out in 2008, as for Devil May Cry 5, well Doom Eternal is a 2020 game so yes DMC5 is old enough.
@Serpenterror DMC 5 is using the RE engine and it is graphically intense as well. The game on base PS4 and Xbox One iirc runs around 40 ish frames per second.
DMC 5 can't run on Switch.
The RE engine on Switch is a Switch specific RE engine. Designed for games to be built from the ground up for Switch.
Already preordered Capcom Fighting Collection. Looking forward to many online matches this summer!
Give Us More Ace Attorney and some older resident evil ports
Where is the second Ace Attorney trilogy?
How about giving us Miles Edgeworth Investigations 1 AND 2?
And Megaman Battle Network
Not gonna lie the "leaked" stuff is disappointing its all the same old stuff they've been pushing for quite some time. I want Ace Attorney, Mega Man Lengends collection, Breath of Fire, and DuckTales
How's about a new Breath of Fire game?
I'm biased and I want a Battle Network Collection at some point. Or even more Mega Man in general would be nice like X9. More Ace Attorney would also be great as well.
I'm looking fwd to the Switch releases there but in terms of sheer numbers that is underwhelming (for the Switch). Shame they won't release a recent or new Street Fighter game on the console. I have enjoyed most of their Switch stuff thusfar.
@KayFiOS loathe as I am to admit it, I don’t think Mega Man is a priority for Capcom anymore. Probably still a weird vibe around nominating a successor to Inafune. Dude wrecked the gaff and then dipped.
Capcom is my favourite games house after Nintendo!
But come on Capcom give us some Power Stone!
Why are you having news about games for other systems? Isn't this a Nintendo site? The other systems already have their own sites.
I bought the switch for retro games and portability. As long as Capcom keeps pumping out retro games I’m ok with that. Hint Hint Dreamcast emulation
@Cia
It's a multiplatform roster which includes Switch games?
Personally, I'd rather not have to go look up what else was planned over this period after reading this article.
That would be like posting sales charts with only the Switch releases on which seems less meaningful without the context.
Viewtiful joe collection with 1&2…and I guess red hot rumble but I wouldn’t be hurt at all to let that one be, would be my most wanted. The battle network collection I’d like to pick up as I haven’t played much of those. I wonder if they’d pile that all in one collection or not tho, it seems like a lot of games. It’d be awesome if you could trade online with those. I’d hope they’d include the GameCube game as well.
How can they justify these games as New? Most are remakes or compliations and only two coming to switch? What a load of crap
New games = re-releasing old games. Okay, good to know.
Okami 2. I know it was made by Clover but don't Capcom hold the rights?
Very nice line up
@DiggleDog The team that created 11 knocked it outta the park, I don't think there's any doubt that they can handle new entries.
@Lizuka Same here. I was hoping to hear about Apollo Justice and the 3DS games coming to the Switch soon. My daughter has been playing through Trials and Tribulations with me on the Switch and she's fallen in love with the series. So I was hoping to continue on with it after we got through that game. At least on the Switch. I have them on the 3DS. But she likes playing the games on a TV
@Cia
There's a Monster Hunter coming out for Switch listed on there. So that counts for something, I guess...?
Eh... I tried.
All you guys be complaining about Capcom.
Just be glad they are not Konami.
Considering this consists of two legacy collections, a DLC expansion, and three last-to-current gen ports I heavily question if Capcom knows what "new titles" means. Pragmata seems interesting but they haven't said or shown enough of it yet and Exoprimal lost me by being another multi-player focus game instead of the Dino Crisis spiritual successor it initially looked like. And Capcom seriously needs to give Street Fighter a break for a few years and try a new game in another of their fighting series; coming from someone who was insanely excited when Street Fighter IV was announced and enjoyed it and its expansions, I just feel burned out on Street Fighter at this point and have been turning to KOF and Skullgirls for my fighter fix instead.
Oh well; looking forward to playing Darkstalkers on current hardware at least, though a new Ace Attorney or even modern ports of the Viewtiful Joe games would be nice...
Resident evil 7 biohazard na nintendo by bolo super keby sa im to podarilo
@Anti-Matter
Your wish has been granted; it’s part of next month’s Capcom Fighting Collection.
@Angelic_Lapras_King
They’ll be a free upgrade to people who own the PS4 version, but they’ll also be a new paid SKU for people who don’t own a previous version of the game. So yeah, they count.
WHERE THE POWERSTONE PLAYERS AT
I’d love to see the PS3 version of Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition ported to Switch.
@FishyS That's hilarious!
I'm excited for Sunbreak - beyond that, we are still waiting for an official Dragon's Dogma 2 reveal! Should see something this year if they haven't scrapped the project.
Can we please get some more Ace Attorney? I still haven’t played Apollo Justice’s “trilogy” and the Investigation games, and I would love another collection/trilogy.
Yes, of course I want a new game too, but given how Capcom just kind of. Forgets about Ace Attorney sometimes, I’m not expecting much lol
Personally holding out for a new final fight game or at least a Final Fight collection with lots of goodies.
No Ace Attorney?
Very excited for Pragmata but would be interested in more Resident Evil for Switch.. even a version of 7 built for the Switch
