Re: Iconic Sony Sports Series 'Everybody's Golf' Tees-Off On Switch This Year

@AG_Awesome easy come easy golf it’s alright. Very grindy and kind of repetitive with its mechanics. Courses don’t add much to the experience, color palette overall is bland and sfx are pretty generic. UI is a carbon-copy from the mobile version. Have to admit, I still play it every now and then, and hopefully this everybody’s golf game would add much than ECEG or even Mario Golf on the switch!

@Rika_Yoshitake you're right, like starting a game with a common raven or killdeer. It can get interesting though when you don't come around those cards at the beginning or someone else do so. I still think most playthroughs can get pretty interesting and how you manage to get a good engine with "poor" cards, especially when playing only the base game.

Runbow is so underrated! Used to play it a lot with friends on the Wii U and even had couple sessions of 9-players madness, very chaotic and fun. Simple controls, mostly challenging and enjoyable level design and vs modes are great as well.

Zelda II: Death Mountain and Valley of Death; in a game that is known to be unforgiving for the uninitiated, both sections go through a big difficulty gap.

Super Monkey Ball 2: Switch Inferno; without any guidance is just trial-and-error on what to do to complete this level, and after you figure out which switch to press it gets way too easy to complete. Definitely the weakest level in the entire series between 1, 2 and Deluxe that is.

TGM2 babyyyy, although got it last week. As someone mentioned on another article, if you are an avid Tetris fan consider get TETRIS THE ABSOLUTE THE GRAND MASTER 2 PLUS asap since licensing on this game could expire anytime and get delisted.

@NintendoByNature totally agree! Yacht Club, Wayforward and even Inti Creates could be the best bets for getting the best Zelda II experience ever. Although we already got the Redux rom patch that addresses most of the game's issues, I'd still love a huge visual overhaul and maybe add Classic (same punishing game design as the original) and Modern mode (No game overs, or at least the possibility to continue the adventure at the start of where were you at the time of the game over with no exp loss).

Well, only one can dream on that though.

Chocobo GP sweeps.

For real though, this year I didn't get many games released this year but man, even with all the criticism this game got it was a blast playing it all year long. Love the ability and the magicite/spell system the game implements.

Not even close to be as good as Mario Kart 8 but still fun nevertheless!

Re: Chocobo GP To Get "No Further Large Scale Updates", Mythril Sales Discontinued

@LexKitteh sadly and thankfully only Season 1 was atrocious on how much you had to grind to even get Cloud at Level 60, and to level-up you would spend quite some time in it (don't exactly recall how much time I spent to get him but around 10-15 hours of playtime). Even SE realized how awful lot you had to play to advance on the season pass that they actually tweak the level system and gave 3000+ mythril as an apology.

By the time Season 2 started the prize pass was waaaay less grindy, getting everything at level 20 (about an hour or two of playtime). Same thing went with S3 & S4, and on each season SE 800 mythril, enough to get the prize pass and within the pass you got even more mythril.

To this day the only character missing from previous Seasons in the game's shop is Cloud (he should return on this last season or afterwards through the shop), everyone else from Squall to Rafaello and Cid's Treasure hunter you can get them with tickets or gil, that you earn by playing the game online and no extra cash needed (although of course you need a NSO subscription to do so).
