@Broosh you know ball, oddly enough one of my most played switch games. Microtransactions aside it was a very fun game to play, sadly they patched some insane tech that enhanced the gameplay experience (drift-cancel still be missed). Good news is that MTX were removed as well although it was late but again better late than never!
@Kyloctopus I love this game so much. So far I've completed it around 10 times between fresh save files and "new game +". The first time I beat it was a pain but after the second time it gets enjoyable.
@World I would be surprised if they even add the arcade games since they're available elsewhere, and specifically for Ms. Pac-Man maybe a Pac-Mom re-skin could work? Still remember I could spend most of my time playing pac-Attack and Pac-Mania!
@LunarFlame17 funny how having "rogue-like" and "deck-building" in the same sentence doesn't sound as appealing... until you give them a chance. StS and Balatro are clear examples of this, and sure is not a one-size-fits-all formula but definitely has its public.
@AG_Awesome easy come easy golf it’s alright. Very grindy and kind of repetitive with its mechanics. Courses don’t add much to the experience, color palette overall is bland and sfx are pretty generic. UI is a carbon-copy from the mobile version. Have to admit, I still play it every now and then, and hopefully this everybody’s golf game would add much than ECEG or even Mario Golf on the switch!
@Rika_Yoshitake you're right, like starting a game with a common raven or killdeer. It can get interesting though when you don't come around those cards at the beginning or someone else do so. I still think most playthroughs can get pretty interesting and how you manage to get a good engine with "poor" cards, especially when playing only the base game.
@nbell31b as a first timer, MM3D is really enjoyable. So much quality of life injected to it. Gladly for the N64 we now have save states in the Wii U and SO ports.
Got myself a carrying pouch for my Analogue Pocket a couple years back. Quite expensive (I believe it was around $60 USD) yet so good looking. Nice quality and feel, just wish it had more pockets; can only fit a couple GB/GBC games in it without feeling too cramped.
Runbow is so underrated! Used to play it a lot with friends on the Wii U and even had couple sessions of 9-players madness, very chaotic and fun. Simple controls, mostly challenging and enjoyable level design and vs modes are great as well.
Zelda II: Death Mountain and Valley of Death; in a game that is known to be unforgiving for the uninitiated, both sections go through a big difficulty gap.
Super Monkey Ball 2: Switch Inferno; without any guidance is just trial-and-error on what to do to complete this level, and after you figure out which switch to press it gets way too easy to complete. Definitely the weakest level in the entire series between 1, 2 and Deluxe that is.
@sketchturner I have replayed Zelda II countless of times, both NES and FDS versions, vanilla and new game +. Never get tired of beating it, feel accomplished after going through it all every time!
TGM2 babyyyy, although got it last week. As someone mentioned on another article, if you are an avid Tetris fan consider get TETRIS THE ABSOLUTE THE GRAND MASTER 2 PLUS asap since licensing on this game could expire anytime and get delisted.
@Cashews still in awe on how well Monster Hunter Rise works on switch. Sure it is now ported to multiple platforms but having a game that stacked on the Switch is really a milestone.
@NintendoByNature totally agree! Yacht Club, Wayforward and even Inti Creates could be the best bets for getting the best Zelda II experience ever. Although we already got the Redux rom patch that addresses most of the game's issues, I'd still love a huge visual overhaul and maybe add Classic (same punishing game design as the original) and Modern mode (No game overs, or at least the possibility to continue the adventure at the start of where were you at the time of the game over with no exp loss).
@Crono1973 Agree with the 5.
Love the references all over the place, and the animation is great, but yeah if you take everything that is Mario/Nintendo related out of the movie, it becomes an ok movie.
I enjoyed it nevertheless, will watch it again to catch more references I might missed.
For real though, this year I didn't get many games released this year but man, even with all the criticism this game got it was a blast playing it all year long. Love the ability and the magicite/spell system the game implements.
Not even close to be as good as Mario Kart 8 but still fun nevertheless!
@LexKitteh sadly and thankfully only Season 1 was atrocious on how much you had to grind to even get Cloud at Level 60, and to level-up you would spend quite some time in it (don't exactly recall how much time I spent to get him but around 10-15 hours of playtime). Even SE realized how awful lot you had to play to advance on the season pass that they actually tweak the level system and gave 3000+ mythril as an apology.
By the time Season 2 started the prize pass was waaaay less grindy, getting everything at level 20 (about an hour or two of playtime). Same thing went with S3 & S4, and on each season SE 800 mythril, enough to get the prize pass and within the pass you got even more mythril.
To this day the only character missing from previous Seasons in the game's shop is Cloud (he should return on this last season or afterwards through the shop), everyone else from Squall to Rafaello and Cid's Treasure hunter you can get them with tickets or gil, that you earn by playing the game online and no extra cash needed (although of course you need a NSO subscription to do so).
@Yosher if you missed characters from previous seasons you can get them with tickets or gil. You get both currencies by playing the game and no need for extra money. Only character missing in the shop is Cloud, but since there’s a new Midgar course maybe he’ll return?
Midgar course looks amazing, so the new characters do too (especially Vogl) although most likely gonna stick with Asura & Leviathan. Finally eating good after 2-3 seasons without a new course.
@Drac_Mazoku I spent some cash on mythril but then regret it since a couple weeks later they start giving it, at least enough for the season pass and some cosmetics.
@Drac_Mazoku Tbh the only thing I really miss is the drift-cancel mechanic. Although it was a glitch/exploit, it really added so much depth to the game, like removing wavedash from Melee. Not the same... Still enjoying the game to this day nevertheless!

I believe there's someone missing... right? 🐭😘
Re: Valorant Datamine Supposedly Uncovers References To Nintendo Switch
Perhaps it'll be the mobile version? It seems almost complete at this point and makes more sense to port that version on switch than the full package.
Re: Back Page: The Best Cows On The Nintendo Switch
@Axecon I KNOW RIGHT? As soon as I read the titles just thought "they better include the talking cows from DQXI".

BOTW theme for me, although I also love both Splatoon themes!

@Sisilly_G season 2 was pretty neat, it introduced Balamb Garden from FFVIII and three variants!
