@Drac_Mazoku tbh I think it's more on the reviewers' side to add some disclaimers or updates their reviews but most of the time they don't. They only play games for a couple hours, even less and go with that first experience. I don't blame them either.
But yeah, the game is really fun and Ult & spell management are key to win consistently and you're not seeing the same 3 characters being played all the time unlike higher MK8D ranks.
My only gripe with the game is that after Season 1, SE removed drift cancel that gave to the game so much personality, like wavedashing in Melee and snaking in early Mario Kart games but oh well.
@Darkthany indeed, game's pretty fun! My only concern are the Mecha-Chocobo and Cactuar buffs, they should have nerf their abilities. They charge waaaay too fast and can wipe-out full packs!
For what I know, one of the most accessible Nintendo games is the Rhythm Heaven franchise, specifically for people with visual impairment that can rely solely on audio cues. They also have visual cues and the controls are pretty simple in all installments.
@TheAmazingMisterFox still a solid game besides MTX. Sure it has its jankiness (as most kart racing games have), but getting the lines right and get through the chaos it's so rewarding!
My only complain with this update is how it affects Time Attack records, since they removed a major bug from GS-L. Besides that pretty decent, still having tons of fun with this game. โบ
For Dragon Quest, best main games to start are either 8 or 11, maybe even 3, 4 and 5. I mean, you can start with any game really but the rest can be pretty overwhelming (7 is a beast in terms of content, maybe add 6 and 9?) or dated like 1, 2. Still all games are great JRPGs nevertheless.
@Drac_Mazoku right on! Yeah the mtx system can be shady and it's ok to not like it, but what you really get spending money on mythril are cosmetics and if you don't want to grind the Prize Pass, well you can buy levels. In fact I think there's a lack of content you can buy with the premium currency!
My only complain with the game though... why there's no 4-player simultaneously? Oh well.
Not much of a FF fan but man I'm enjoying this game a lot. Nice driving mechanics, the magicite & abilities systems adds more depth than one might think and there's plenty of tech that is still being discovered like drift-cancel.
Sad this game gets much misinformed hate but that's the way the internet works I guess...
@mattesdude there's no point on holding the stickers if you have them, try using them right away. If you manage to get a decent group using the same sticker + get to semi/finals you will be easily be going 1-2 levels per GP!
@VR32X sometimes I just think that Nintendo wants to forget that Startropics is a thing, and an IP of their own no less. However if we got the 1st game on the NES Online service, it's only matter of time we get Zoda's Revenge right... right?
Not having mining Shy Guys inside Choco-Mountain's cave humming like in Shy Guy Falls is a missed opportunity, that could make the track even more special!
Runbow on Wii U is the best experience ever since itโs the only platform (besides PC) that can handle up to 9 players locally! The setup is pretty weird but fun is guaranteed nevertheless
Iโd like to also add to the list Shantae: Pirateโs Curseโฆ yeah itโs already ported to many devices and has a physical copy as well (although kinda expensive nowadays), but its true charm relies on those character sprites with some โdepthโ, like, literally you can see a couple โattributesโ pop-up with the 3D effect on!
I'm curious on the sections for the Tour courses since most of them, in this case Tokyo Blur & Paris Promenade, have different layouts to be raced out (Tokyo Blur 1, 2, 3).
Hopefully we get through ALL sections on each course and be segments like on Mount Wario and N64 Rainbow Road, for example.
It's ShoTime! Great news for baseball fans, although Idk how it will run on the switch. Hopefully the switch version doesn't get as plain as the FIFA ports compared to their X-Box/PS counterparts...
@Tipehtfomottob just played Dynamite Headdy for the first time through the Genesis Switch online service and oh boy it's a fun platformer! It feels like a predecessor of Mischief Makers gameplay-wise, and probably an inspiration to Rayman and maybe Ristar? Anyway, solid gem that should be at least acknowledged.
@nukatha oh absolutely! You can play Rhythm Heaven with pretty much using audio-cues only although visual-cues can be helpful as well.
I remember years ago here in NL they published an article about a blind Nintendo fan that sent a letter to Nintendo about how awesome Rhythm Heaven is and Nintendo replied back in braille. Wholesome stuff. โบ
@T317 I always thought if we got a Tekken rep it would be Jin since he can spawn wings "freely" and makes more sense to recovery moves. But tbh from all the Mishima family Kazuya is my favorite, LET'S GOOOO

Re: Back Page: Which Is The Best Controller Button, And What Does Your Pick Say About You?
X button is goated, specially when remapping for NES games as B button, so much better than usinga A+B.
Re: Pac-Land Is The Next Arcade Archives Game Coming To Switch
@KayFiOS @Yosher lowkey yes, that stage represents what Smash Bros. truly is: total mayhem.
(When I play with my group of friends they never let me pick the stage since they know I ALWAYS choose PAC-LAND, lol)

@Johnnel I know! after a couple days playing the handling feels good, although I still need to optimize some lines in tight turns. So far so good
