I wonder if Anti-Matter is getting this.

I have yet to really start my collection, the oldest thing I have is some ds games. But I hate having any game without it's case, even if it's cartridge is in my carrying case. (Disregarding Wii games of course)

I'd love to get Rise, but I don't have the budget for it right now. I'll probably pick it up in a few months or so.

Doesn't look to appealing visually, but it looks alright mechanically.

After enough ThisButThat games we eventually get to ThisButThatButThose and eventually ThisButThatButThoseButThese and eventually a completely new take on the genre, so yes I'd say it's good to have ThisButThat games. I hope you were able to follow my odd sentence.

I've been wanting headset for a while now, and something like this very well may make me save up for one. Also, this is really impressive!

I think it looks a bit too similar to stardew in art style, but better in some places. They should've gone for something unique, but it still looks great! I'm mainly disappointed about the combat, that being that it could've been in the world, instead of turn based. But I'm not a huge fan of farming games anyway so who am I to judge.

Also I made up three of those copies sold! Worth every penny!

Fantastic game they've made there, looking forward to journey's end on switch.... Even if I still prefer modded.

I never got this game because I didn't enjoy new leaf too much. I did however get two of my favorite games of all time last year, something which animal crossing could never become, for me at least.

@Larams I'm not denying that... but if there's too much of what I don't like, I won't pick it up. It's also not the mature rating in and of it self that's the problem, I do research on games I'd like to play.

@Donutman I never said anything about not having the games on switch, infact seeing how many people love them they should've been on the switch 2 years ago! Just because I dislike something doesn't mean others don't, and if I did like a game, I would love to have it on the go! And I play more than nintendo games lol, otherwise I'd have next to nothing to play! My favorite game of all time is made by an indie studio, in fact!

@Savino Bingo! I am a Christian and would rather not have to contend with (the one word which I'm pretty sure is bannable) in games that I play. And yes, It is also a moral guideline.

Which I don't want in my games, but the idea of a family friendly gta sounds great! I think a Zelda spinoff would fit nicely in that style.

Hmm, looks interesting. I've stayed away from gta because of the inappropriate content, but it never gave an actual rating for this game. It does look fun however, even if I'm not a huge fan of the camera angle. I'll wait for some reviews.

EDIT: I just looked at the steam page, and this is what it says for maturity: MATURE CONTENT DESCRIPTION The developers describe the content like this: there might be a lot of blood and swearing.
There doesn't appear to be any nudity, but it is unfinished nonetheless. Could turn into a good game though!

Depends on your definition of rpg. We currently have no widely agreed upon definition however, so I cannot say.

I understand that Donkey Kong goes well with Mario, but is it really that popular? Why not Zelda or Pokemon instead? Or maybe I'm underestimating the popularity of the kong.

This looks atrocious! I feel sorry you had to review this awful game. I wasn't planning on getting it regardless, but it looks worse than I imagined. Glad to see Littlewood getting a much higher score than this.

I'm back at it with some more modded Terraria! Still a phenomenal game.

@westman98 the article is about new ideas, and many of those are remakes or ports. Mario golf looks like it's reusing the engine from previous games. And with pokemon the art style is very controversial. Buddy Mission Bond looks to be the most unique and new thing there, but it's a japan exclusive so...

So the only thing that really counts as something truly new is bowsers fury, golf if you wanna stretch it. Doesn't look very new to me. (especially in terms of new ips)

I have to agree. But I don't MIND remakes, as long as they're in addition to new games / made by a different developer. We also need old games for cheap as well. By old I mean game and watch to wii. Highest price being $20.
I want this. I would pay for this. But it won't happen. The main game I've been playing isn't made by nintendo, it's made by an indie team.
I don't wanna replay a nintendo game for the 9th time. I don't wanna have to emulate any old game I want to play. I like playing something NEW, or with so much content that I play it for years. We are in 2021 at this point. I only bought 1 new nintendo game last year, they can do a whole lot more.

My favorite game isn't made by nintendo, or sony, or microsoft, or any other large AAA studio. My favorite game is made by an indie studio, Moonsprout Games. But I am sad that it exists. Bug Fables was only made because nintendo wouldn't what fans asked for. At all.

GameFreak won't listen either, but they still get money. I like the switch, but I don't like the people running it. I'm not gonna play a nintendo game tonight, or even on a nintendo system. I'm gonna play Terraria.

I shall be playing some terraria, on mar10 day. Anticlimactic for sure, but it's what I'm in the mood to play right now.

Picked it up day 1, nice little handheld. Twas also the first time I had beaten the original mario bros. too!

@RadioHedgeFund I agree, and because I share a similar mindset, I've already found a game like that! It's not out yet, but waiting until the end of the year isn't too bad. It's called Skyclimbers, and it comes out in December.

I wish the remakes were better... but uh, for this type of game we have Legends Arceus...This still looks cool though!

I still don't understand why this exists. But I would like it if I could listen to smash while I play, but this IS nintendo we're talking about after all. At least I mostly play single player games.

This is an amazing piece! The stories that can come from games like pokemon are fantastic! I fondly remember catching all the legendaries in pokemon diamond for the first time, it was magical! I had no such moments in SWSH however. And looking back on it, Sun was pretty bad too. I probably shouldn't be allowed to comment on pokemon articles, huh.

So just a restatement of what Aonuma said in the direct, nice!

I first played on wii u, so that sucks. I remember getting lost early game in the mountains surrounding Zora's domain, and wandering around for ~10 hours trying to get there and wondering why the rain won't stop. Fun times!

Neat little device to own, even if it is overpriced.

I've gotta be honest, I think they did a crappy job with the quality of the assets. I don't mind the chibi art style, but if the quality is bad it ruins the whole aesthetic. I didn't mind Link's Awakening's art style because the production quality was there. This however, feels like an extremely early prototype, one unworthy of the original. When the remake comes out I won't be picking it up, (not in this state at least!) but I may decide to replay Diamond again, because it's visuals look more modern than those of "brilliant".

I love this, would see in theatre for $20

@Zach777 Yeah so, you're saying expecting a good game from the LARGEST GROSSING franchise in the world is entitled? Huh. Sure I'll buy lots of bad games and not complain! You may want to try comparing SWSH to literally any other pokemon game! (This sounded much ruder than I was intending, sorry!)

If gamefreak is making an open-world game... it'll be bad. If they make another open-world game... it'll probably be bad too. BUT on the third try, it might be only a bit worse than what I want from pokemon.
But I'm not getting my hopes up though.
After all I have much better games to play.

I bet we're gonna get news on the moba they're working on, but in the most drawn-out way possible. Probably a minute or two for Snap, and, of course something to do with sinnoh. I wholeheartedly believe this because gamefreak loves money. (I would be surprised if they didn't announce a remake or something)

BOTW does deserve the spot imo, but OOT? In second? Switch that with A Link Between Worlds and then I'd agree with the list. All of the games are great though. Also my mind might be changed with an HD remake.

Generally though, how I rank them depends on what style they are. Open-World > Top-Down > 3d

My kickstarter budget is completely empty at this point, but the game still looks nice!

I don't see the need to change it, if they however had a different gameplay style then sure, but otherwise it wouldn't matter.

Just modded terraria, maybe a bit of minecraft. I'd love to replay 3d world, but with my income right now I won't be able to afford a port for a while.
