Another busy week draws to a close and the weekend beckons. Over the past seven days some little-known minnow in Nintendo's IP portfolio received an anniversary update, we got a glimpse of what a hypothetical raytraced Breath of the Wild could look like in 8K, and we're gearing up for yet another significant anniversary on Sunday. It's now time to put your feet up and get down to some quality gaming while it's still winter outside, no? Yes, it's time to discuss our weekend gaming plans.
Members of the Nintendo Life team have done just that below, so feel free to give our entries a read and then join in with your own via our comment section. Enjoy!

This weekend I'll be celebrating the Animal Crossing: New Horizons anniversary...in ah, Animal Crossing; New Horizons! At the moment I'm also still busy trying to collect all of the Super Mario items - the Warp Pipe is very handy when it comes to island travel.
Apart from this, I'm curious to investigate Kaze and the Wild Masks. After reading our own review on the site by Stuart Gipp, I simply can't resist when he's drawing comparisons to the Super Nintendo classic Donkey Kong Country and saying it's an "absolute pleasure" from beginning to end. Perhaps if I get some extra time I'll even check out the new Hatsune Miku puzzle game that got a surprise release on the Switch earlier this week. That'll probably do me for the next few days.
Enjoy your weekend, everyone!

Hey folks! Hope everyone's doing well. I'm carrying on with my playthrough of Pokémon Blue this week, and still thoroughly enjoying my time with it. I genuinely forgot about so many moments during the game, it's making me feel like a 10 year old all over again!
Elsewhere, I've decided to crack on with a bit of Animal Crossing: New Horizons since it's managed to pull me back in again, and I've also got a bit of an urge to replay Super Mario 64. Maybe all this talk of Mario's untimely demise at the end of the month has me feeling a bit sympathetic towards the little guy…

This weekend is going to be chock full of me attempting to hold myself back from time traveling and getting all of the Sanrio villagers and items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I’ve also been on a bit of a Picross S5 kick, and have also been jumping back into older games that I’ve yet to completely finish (Paper Mario: The Origami King, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, the Pokemon Sword & Shield DLC, and Ring Fit Adventure). I could really use a relaxing weekend of digging into my backlog, and I’m seriously looking forward to it.

This week has been a busy one, even though I've just been mostly sitting at my desk, so it's been tough to find time for games - so this week's "what are you playing" is going to look VERY similar to last week's!
Later Alligator came out this week, though, and half of the team that made it is SmallBu, a husband-and-wife animation team. They're my absolute favourite animators, so I was so excited to finally get to play the game on the Switch. My review probably says all this already, so apologies if you have to read it twice!
In other news, I've been playing more Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, and the more I play, the more I like it. Thank goodness reviews aren't based on the first ten hours of a game. Oh, and Valheim. It's this little game, you probably haven't heard of it, it's about Vikings...

This week I took delivery of a rather fetching Game Boy Advance with a new IPS screen and a natty white bezel. With this in hand, I intend to celebrate the GBA's 20th anniversary with Kuru Kuru Kururin, Sabre Wulf and perhaps a little Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2.
That's the intention. The reality will likely involve bouncing a small child to sleep with a Joy-Con in each hand while I plough through the remaining puzzles of Picross S on the muted TV. Before you know it I'll have to pick up one of the other seventy-three Picross games Jupiter's released over the last four years! Paper Mario: The Origami King has also been keeping me company in the small hours — lovely looking game, that.

Quite happy to play Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning for the first time ever this weekend. I expect it t suck me into its fantasy world much the same way Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen did when it arrived on the Switch. On the Wii it’s blue skies and drama with Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces and We Love Golf!, a game Jon made me buy. Curious to give Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse a go just to see how the Switch handles the original Halo game engine while I am reaching the cusp of 2027 in the 70+ months career in Wrestling Empire.
Game of the week is Hades, the fancy Switch exclusive physical edition. Now we can lick it!
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave us a comment below with your gaming choices over the next few days...

I finished the first loop in Undermine, and can see no reason to go through it again. To my mind, it doesn't quite nail the whole rogue-lite ethos. So I decided to go for Kingdoms Of Amalur, as it reminded me of older entries in The Elder Scrolls series (Skyrim just felt so empty), and am enjoying that so far. Feels like it is packed full of things to see and do! I hope that you're all hanging in there during these crazy times... stay safe, and take care.
Received my copy of Hades yesterday, so I am going to alternate between that and finish getting 100% on Yakuza 0.
Slowly making my way through Nurse Love Addiction, trying to pace it so I finish just before Monster Hunter comes out. Also been playing some Groove Coaster and Hatsune Miku Logic Paint. I've also been playing a bunch of A-Train but the game crashed while I was saving last night and now it just freezes every time I try to load that file so I've lost like seven hours of progress and am probably done with it now.
Toukiden Kiwami om my Vita. Really good MH clone that still looks great on the Vita 1000's OLED screen.
Probably some Animal Crossing, BotW (trying to upgrade all pieces of armor now) and probably go for another play through of Paratopic to try to make sense of it.
I played Animal Crossing New Horizons and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age Switch this morning.
I continued playing these games after lunch time.
1. Fling Smash Wii
2. All Star Cheer Squad Wii
3. Starfox Adventures Gamecube
Speed Limit on the Switch, attempting to better some times.
Animal Crossing, probably. Just setting out some more Mario items.
Final Fantasy VII off the eShop. Just started it last night, and will hopefully be working my way through it this weekend and next week.
Mostly Bravely Default 2 and some online Mario Kart 8 now and then.
My copy of Story of Seasons came in early thanks to Xseed so that’s my entire weekend
As a massive DKC fan I’m very tempted by Kaze so might pick that up but I’m quite busy at the moment getting destroyed by a fat water slug in Nioh on PS5
Trying to get into Chrono Cross once again after failing to do so years ago when I first tried it. Already a good 10+ hours in, way ahead of the point I quit in my initial attempt.
So far the game is a bit of a mixed bag in my opinion but I've had much more success in being able to enjoy it this time when I don't compare it to Chrono Trigger at every turn and instead treat it as its own thing.
I'll be playing
Sonic Adventures 2 (PC): Taking care of chaos, finishing the last story.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons (NS): i'll finally check out the update. (including the additional custom patterns slots added. )
and buy more mario items
Stubbs the Zombie (PC): just bought the remastered, and going to do more of it. for a game that was made in the halo engine, it's pretty fun.
if my package comes by next weekend, i'll be playing PSO. it also comes with a tails chao, and there are ways to get the chao file to work on the PC versions of SA1/SA2.
I would’ve said final fantasy XIII but I finished it last night. So I’m going to play final fantasy tactics and maybe start FFXIII-2.
Besides that I’ll go shiny hunting in pokemon shield. Finally got a shiny tapu bulu 3 days ago after trying to get it since the dlc launched.
I'm focusing mostly on the story mode of Overcooked 2 and might start Cyanide and Happiness: Freakpocalypse. 😃 Looking forward to another Point and Click game after completing Leisure Suit Larry last week.
May collect a few more stars and stamps in Mario 3D World too as I'm slowly working towards unlocking Champions Road.
Need to play some more Mario 3-D World, quite enjoying Bowser's fury as well, also might have another go at the Mario 3-D collection.
Plus I will need to spend a bit of my time on my island in Animal crossing, have a new project I am starting.
This week I will be mostly playing
New Horizons
Pokémon White
Portia, Rune Factory (both 1 and 4), Princess Maker (both 3 and 1 if I decide to pull the trigger on the latter's steam version after all), Burnout, Bioshock, Spirit of Justice, Shadows of Valentia, God Eater... and whatever else happens to wiggle inbetween. One or possibly two Namco x Capcom maps as well. Got some gaming funds with new stuff in the crosshairs, but my relatively high wishlist priority for Immortals leaves me waiting a couple days to see if Capcom's new US sale might flow over to our eShops soon.
EDIT: Congratulations, Capcom, you're the new Ubisoft. I'm getting old.😅
Had Atelier Lulua backlogged so I'm playing through that. I really shouldn't have played Ryza first but it's still a great game, may play some Old School Musical in-between.
@BenAV
A-train crashed? OOF.
I wanted to get this one soon and now I'm having second thoughts, I can never get motivated to play again if I lose progress through no fault of my own. Welp guess I will pick up the new story of seasons instead as my main (£40+) game this month then even though i was gonna wait since I bought Harvest Moon recently instead to give it a chance.
Celebrate New Horizons's one-year anniversary with New Horizons, and Wild World. Wild world is one of my favorite games. I like to visit my little town from time to time.
Also, currently downloading A-Train All Aboard Tourism.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - I’m 65 hours in and suddenly the story has ramped up. At the moment I am pretty much addicted to this game!
I was tested for covid this morning so I can’t leave my home until I get the results. So lots of gaming ahead (not really different from my regular weekends though 😉)
Already did my daily ACNH session. Will play tons of Valheim and I do want to put in some hours in BOTW too. Perhaps throw in a little Shield, Hades and Bioshock as well.
Oh and there’s my Netflix/Prime/Disney+ backlog. Busy times
@Nintendo_Pone I've had it freeze and crash several times which is a real shame as aside from that I've really enjoyed it. I turned on auto-save at the start of every month and I was saving after doing anything major so I was getting by just fine without losing any real progress until it decided to crash while I was saving and killed my save completely. Not too fussed about losing seven minutes but seven hours on the other hand... I put 60 hours into the game going through each scenario on Normal and I had a few left but I'm not restarting that one from scratch after I was close to winning.
Playing all the hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. 😎🎮
The usual Animal Crossing New Horizons, Splatoon 2, and Pokemon Sun. I've saved so much money this year just playing the games I love and already own. Beat Kirby Planet Robobot last night as well and am now playing through all the other modes besides story mode. Lots of value in that game.
Have a good weekend everyone.
I decided to give Civilization 6 another go last week - a game you know is good but that can be a bit overwhelming if you’re new to the series like me. Over the 2 years I’ve had the game I never really got far with it. This time around it all kinda clicked into place and it’s all I’ve been playing for a week now and suspect it will keep me occupied for some time.
Some Plants vs Zombies for me. Really solid port, with a ton of content, great offline support (there's even bot matches!), and the charm the series is known for. I'll also dabble in some Roundguard, and Void Terrarium. On PC: Loop Hero and Valheim.
Messing around in Disgaea 5C
Working out in Ring Fit Adventure.
Swinging around Manhattan in Spider-Man.
Building a galactic empire in Stellaris.
Control. I got a demo on switch for some overpriced streaming version, that looked quite nice but ended immediately. Shortly after, it was given away for 'free' on PSplus. I'm playing on ps4, but if your only option is switch, I suggest skipping.
Still into Bravely Default 2. I got really hooked on this game from the release day. It's such a polished modern-retro jrpg!
I'll be playing "Create another new wonderful game using SmileBASIC"!
It's such a fun game!
86 games and counting..
Continuing my Journey on octopath traveler after over 30 hours in it’s not that bad, it’s a very slow paced game with 8 not so entertaining stories maybe it’s going to kick off sometime near rhe end.
Again I am all consumed by Kingdoms of Amalur!
Still cleaning up my island in ACNH for the rebuild. In the meantime I'm playing Mario 3D All-Stars with my two boys and Assassins Creed Black Flag. Want to start the Harry Potter Collection in coop with my wife. The current choice from my backlog is Wonder Boy: Dragons trap.
Outriders demo, got nothing to lose as it's free but it's a struggle finding post-2017 games that run decently on the base XB1 as the focus turned to XB1X much like how since the New 3DS existed there were plenty of games that ran poorly on standard 3DS like Hyrule Warriors Legends. Have a large backlog of games I want to play when I finally get a Series X which will start with Shadow of the Tomb Raider (runs poorly on base XB1).
On the Switch probably SMB35 as it only exists for another 11 days and continuing with Bravely Default II if I feel up to a single player experience.
Right now I am playing through Stranger's Wrath HD on Switch, pretty cool game and it's an excellent port too. As for what comes after that I don't know because I am debating on getting Monster Hunter Rise next week when it comes out.
Well first of all I need to replace my joy con shells with the new ones I have bought, but I should of done more research first as I thought it was an easy task but watching some YouTube tutorial and boy was I wrong, I am actually now scared I will end up breaking my joy con's if I go through with this as I'm not really good with wiring etc, I might just leave it for now and play some more bravely default 2 and fire emblem three houses.
I've been stuck on playing nothing but 3D Mario games for the last week. I'm mainly playing 3D World, Sunshine, and I started a new game of Odyssey. I might get to Crash 4 this weekend, but I'm not always so good at predicting what I'll actually play. I'll also be watching Star Trek and reading Dostoyevsky. As always, there's always plenty to keep me occupied. Perhaps too much.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Learning how to Speedrun NMH after getting the true ending last weekend
Woke up this morning and decided that this is a snes weekend. Gonna play some games i've not played yet like Castlevania IV, bonkers and buster busts loose
Finally got a PS5 so I’m finally going to play Spider-Man remastered which I missed on the PS4 🥳🥳
I'm on act 4 of Wargroove, but I've grown a bit tired of the repetition and the fact that all of the factions play exactly the same apart from the commanders.
I've taken a break from it and started Ys VIII instead. I'm also playing through Pokemon Let's Go Eevee with my kids and Pokemon Omega Ruby alongside my wife, who has Alpha Sapphire.
Chapter 3 bravely default 2 ❤️ ❤️ can't put it down.. so will keep keep playing until the end, so glued to the game now.
Switch - Smash Ultimate, practicing with my main man Mario, and Crash 4!
PS4 - Weekly GTA Online session with friends, and Borderlands 3.
PC - Skyrim Special Edition for the mod support
Have a good weekend everyone!
@charlieonholiday me as well, Xenoblade chronicles 2 is very addicting once you get into it.. i am currently playing bravely default 2, having reached a point i am fighting jin for the last time i guess in Xenoblade chronicles 2 tough though, so i decided to take a break and play my new found love in bravely default 2.
Nothing as usual. Haven’t touched my switch for half a year. Nothing that interest me. I come back to this topic every week hopeful to find out if anything cool is trending tho.
Mainly gaming on my Series X
@BenAV
That sucks so hard, so frustrating as its not exactly cheap either, I can expect a few hitches with indies but for that price point you'd expect it to run without a hitch. Saving shouldn't even be something you are forced to think about, big bummer. Hopefully they will be able to salvage it with future patches, but I'm thinking not enough people will actually buy it and stir up a fuss for that to happen.
I still believe there should be a refund option for games that just break like this. Don't blame you for not starting again, there is just too much competition on the switch for your time without wasting it on a game that could nuke your progress at any time.
Super disappointing.
Finishing breaking bad for the 3rd time. No games are sticking at the mo. Mite try Capcom arcade later. Can’t wait for Littlewood next week xxx
As for this weekend, my youngest is turning three, so I'm not sure I'll have a whole lot of time for gaming. Having said that, I do plan on tackling the Bowser's Fury portion of Super Mario 3D World. Also if I can squeeze it in, I'll probably play a few rounds of Super Smash Bros.: Ultimate as well.
@munstahunta I had a great time with Octopath Traveler. Its the most played game on my Switch, all eight story paths and most of the sidequests for about 140 hours of playtime.
PS4- Tekken 7, Samurai Shodown, Yakuza Like a Dragon.
Switch- Animal Crossing, Super Mario 3D World, Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
Finished Donkey Kong Country the other day. Never played it before. It’s brilliant. On to DKC2 now.
Going to dive back in to Fire Emblem Three Houses after not having played for a year. Have been wanting to do so for a long time, so I’m making it happen this weekend.
Also probably playing some more Bravely Default II and check in on my AC village.
On other consoles, going to continue chipping away at Marvel’s Avengers and my NBA season on XB1X.
Probably some Animal Crossing and Smash...may also watch some movies. I kind of want to get Kaze and the Wild Masks what with the comparisons to DK Country.
@Oswinner Have fun. DKC2 has a fantastic soundtrack.
@Nintendo_Pone At least I've gotten 60 hours out of it and have mostly enjoyed it (perfect for casually playing while watching Youtube) so I don't really feel like I wasted my money or anything but it's certainly hard to recommend to anyone in its current state. There's already been one patch which did I have no idea what so hopefully they continue to work on it and iron out the issues.
After a week of abstinence, back to 3D World and Pure Pool. Over 90hrs in Pure Pool now, I've definitely got my money's worth out of it, it's now my 3rd most played game on the Switch behind Breath of the Wild and Dragon Quest XI S.
As I suspected Olive Town opens up as you play it. Bring on next Friday (when I pick it up).
No gaming for me this weekend. Gotta prep for some certs.
Need to finish Celeste to get it out of the way and then I'm going to try and blast through Journey to the Savage Planet before it gets taken off of GamePass.
Nothing much on switch until MHR next week.
@Rpg-lover I was a huge fan of XC1, the story instantly captivated me.
XC2 is a slow burn regarding the story but I am at a point where the threads have pulled together and I really am now hooked!
With Bravely Default, I played the first game on the 3DS. The battle mechanic was an interesting take on the normal turn based RPG style, but the story really annoyed me - too much padding to get the true ending.
Therefore I am weary of trying Bravely Default 2.
I've just started playing Animal Crossing again whilst I wait to see if Nintendo will restore my old island, my son's 4 now so it will be cool to build it together. Also picked up Mario 3d World and the main game is as excellent as always and I'm really enjoying Bowsers Fury, even if it could have done without the run button.
I'll be having a hangout night with 3 of my close family, playing darts and Arcade 1ups (my newest ones being Outrun, Marvel Pinball and Big Buck Hunter). They've never played any of my arcades though, so I'm expecting a really fun time.
For single player, I did beat 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim on my PS4 last week, which has a fantastic story. Vanillaware really nailed a nice mix between visual novel and strategy genres. This weekend, I'll probably just pick at a bit of Horizon Chase Turbo. I do want to crack into my copy of Streets of Rage 4 with my wife, but this weekend will be quite busy. Maybe next weekend.
Bravely Default 2. I’m a bit bored but want to finish it as if I put it down I’ll forget what I was doing and never pick it up again. Partway through Chapter 3. It’s surprised me how dark it can get!
Well I'm working this weekend, but maybe tonight I will attempt to beat the abyss watchers in Dark Souls 3 again, which I have been stuck on since time immemorial.
Minish Cap - gimme Kinstones!
@Sszx09 I have to give Civ VI another go at some point. I also got it a couple years ago and in spite of having a good time with past entries (even thought I wasn’t particularly good at them), I had a hard time getting into it. For me it may have to do with trying to play it an hour or two at a time at night after my kids go to bed. When I played past entries I could spend all day on it.
As for me this weekend: I just started BOTW for the first time this week. I expect it will take me a very long time to get through it since I spent around 23 hours on Links Awakening DX which seems to be much longer than it takes most people. I may also play a bit of 3D World and Bowser’s Fury.
Spring is in the air and it’s time for Pikmin!
Still whittling away at Final Fantasy VI on the SNES Classic. I'm now in the World of Ruin and have finally picked up a full party and grabbed The Falcon. Now to collect everyone else!
The above was my focus with my limited gaming time this past week, but I also hope to shortly dig into Pokemon: Let's Go Eevee! for nostalgia reasons. We'll see what I think of the gameplay; if I recall, it's a hybrid system between the mainline games and Pokemon Go. I do enjoy the latter when out doing errands/exercising but definitely prefer the main series.
Have a great weekend! Happy gaming!
Pokémon Blue Version (GB) - Found the basement in Rocket Game Corner, clearing it out now.
Angry Birds Stella (Windows Phone) - Going back to 100% all of the levels now.
Gerbil Physics (Windows Phone) - Also just starting this as well.
Kind of got in a rutt and didn't like what I was playing so I went back to some comfort gaming. So I'm playing majoras mask 3d, shantae: riskys revenge, and maybe some minish cap if I can. Possibly get back into Pokémon blue as well.
Yeah, I'm dabbling in a lot of different games right now. Age of Calamity. Bloodstaind: Ritual of the Night. Immortals. Persona 5 Strikers. Then the Switch eShop sales came up and I got Mario Tennis from the Mario sale, Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X/X2 from the Square Enix sale, and Mario+Rabbids and Starlink from the Ubisoft sale. If someone can send over some more time for me to play all of these, I'd appreciate it.
My copy of Hades arrived in the mail yesterday so I've been playing that. I downloaded Scott Pilgrim last night to play with a friend so I'll be back and forth on that. I'm also still working on Bravely Default 2 and I have a personal goal of trying to collect all the stamps in Deadly Premonition 2, which I keep coming back to. I hope everyone has a great weekend!]
I'll play some Rocket League, play some tournaments to rack more tournament credits. At the end of the season (april 7?), unspent tournament credits get converted to All-Star Cup rewards, which are better than the prospect & challenger cups (bronze, gold). https://www.rocketleague.com/news/season-2-extended---competitive-rewards/
I'm also playing Spyro Trilogy. And, it's getting nice enough outside that I may get out on the bike and get radical.
PS5 - Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Just that for this weekend. Great game so far, only about a third of the way through but really enjoying it.
Might have a virtual 1 year anniversary party in animal crossing!
I'm playing my physical copy of Hades.
Modded Terraria, still.
Still slowly making my way through Dragon Quest XI S - which makes it sound like a chore, but it isn’t. One of the best things to hit Switch. Currently scrambling around for a hammer to build some kind of super sword. After 90hrs, I think I’m fairly near the end credits - though I’m aware there’s another 20-30hrs or essential post-game after that!
Other than that, Game Pass on PC has gone into some kind of overdrive. Want to go back to Yakuza 0 or start Nier Automata - but ended up dabbling with Star Wars Fallen Order instead. It’s an embarrassment of riches, atm
I have been playing Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memories and Super Mario Maker 2! I loved Melody of Memories even more than I thought I would so I have my girlfriend to thank for buying it! In Super Mario Maker 2, I have been making a bunch of courses! So much good fun.
Finally finished first on every track on Virtua Racing, that took a while! Now I can concentrate on Outrun and Link's Awakening...
Xbox Series X — Wolfenstein: The New Order — First time playing this game and I am really enjoying it. The characters are great and the gun play is fantastic.
Xbox Series X — Stardew Valley — Just started my second Summer on my farm. Stuff is starting to come together nicely, Such and addictive game.
Panzer dragoon
MHR
Mario 3D world
@PhilKenSebben I saw this it looks quite a lot of fun - how is the online play?
Xenoblade Chronicles DE for me! About 6 hours in and I’m already in love with the world. Also, dipping into Lonely Mountains: Downhill now and again. Have a good weekend, everyone!
Picked up the Orochi Collection on PSN.
It's basically king of fighters 94 through 98 and it's sooo good. Having a blast enjoying those classics again.
I finished Ys VIII this week (great game), so now I'm gonna be shifting my focus towards Trials of Mana. I'd like to finish it before Legends of Mana comes out so I can get that game
I started doing my 100% completion playthrough of Ys VIII! Man I forgot how much I enjoy this game 😂. Hopefully I finish it completely before Ys IX! I did start my 5th playthrough of FE3H but I didn't want to burn myself out so I'm prioritizing Ys atm.
I should go back to FF XII but....ehhhhh....I'm kinda being lazy with it 😅
I dipped a toe in Star Ocean: First Departure R and Even the Ocean just to sample how they play, but my main for this weekend is Ara Fell. I'm mostly gonna go hard on that for now, spliced with Blasphemous to change things up. A gamer pal of mine might be stopping through--If so, we're gonna play ANY of the following:
Broforce
Huntdown
Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle
Super Punch Patrol
Blazing Chrome
R-Type Dimensions EX
Heavy Burger
Mechstermination Force
Contra Anniversary Collection
Strikey Sisters
So much to play so little time!
I've played some ACNH and Fortnite already, and I plan on playing those games more, over the weekend. I'm trying to catch all the remaining fish and bugs in the game, so gonna have to find out how to do so.
Pushing my way through Bravely Default on the 3DS. Just got to the canary boys.
Other than that... Yakuza 0 on the PS4
@FunkySwitchDude no complaints so far.
@MS7000 Yakuza 0 is so good. Nice choice. I’ve been too busy with spring finals lately to play many games unfortunately. My university cancelled spring break and gave us more time to study.
Integration :’(
My daughters played/danced Just Dance nearly the entirety of Saturday. I got to finish Hyper Light Drifter today and I started Owl Boy.
Still playing Cat Mario.. the wife and I gave finally unlocked Crown World. This game just keeps giving 😅. We tried New Super Mario Bros Deluxe after playing Cat Mario so much and it’s incredible how different it feels - so sluggish! I still haven’t tried Bowser’s Fury because the main game is just great. Probably one of my favorite Mario entries.
I just finished Max: The curse of Brotherhood via Gamepass which was a great gem and barely started Journey to the Savage Planet- giving it a go before it leaves (GP) seeing as it’s been in my wishlist for awhile.
Happy gaming everyone!
Started Paper Mario Origami King and South Park:Stick of Truth, so I will continue with these, also continuing Super Mario 3D World and Arcades.
This GBA article is really teasing me to play (again or some that I have never finished properly)some of the best GBA games.
