Re: Does Nintendo Have A Handheld Future Beyond The Switch? Yes, Say The Experts

LilMuku

On a real note, the Switch's success concerns me because It's at best a step up from the DS or GameCube. Don't get me wrong, the Switch is an AMAZING console in 2006, but I already had the Gameboy Advance and Gamecube with the adaptor.
I may be asking too much of Nintendo here, but I wouldn't mind if Nintendo's next console was a step up from the Wii, It's almost like that happened in 2012, I feel like there's a lot of potential for a console with features AND first party exclusives.
I love playing iOS, PC and Wii U games on a HD GameBoy but I really do miss the days when Nintendo's consoles had features and their own games

The idea of a portable standalone gaming system is genius. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Nintendo's old consoles where there were features, apps, first party exclusives and the like, but having a HANDHELD system that does NOTHING BUT play videogames, that's so futuristic, and is definitely not something Nintendo has ever done between 1989 and 2015

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update 1.5.1 Patch Notes - Fixes Some Bugs

Fun fact: In the Able Sister's, buying from the changing room is still one item from each category at a time, without the option of multi-selecting and buying in bulk. Another fun fact, in the same shop, there's NO indicator as to what items you do or don't already own (like how it shows you what bugs you've caught and donated), meaning you need to perfectly remember every single purchase you make.
Also, the Nook catalog also has no indicator as to what items you already own (the one with daily rotating items).
Also, You can't redeem Nook miles on more than one thing at once, or select how many of a thing you want, you also can't DIY craft a select amount of things at once, or buy a specified amount of anything anywhere.

But It's ok because they're drip feeding base game features from old games every 1-2 months

Re: Switch Can Break The Traditional Hardware Cycle And Become Nintendo's iPhone, Says Analyst

LilMuku

I mean the Switch hasn't even started being a console yet
No features beyond playing games and a friends list, filled with ports, they haven't fixed the online yet, also NSO has no incentive beyond being drip fed 30 year old games
The poor thing has been in its launch window for nearly 4 years
At the rate Nintendo are going, the Switch would need to exist for at least 10 years before being half as good as the Wii

Re: Switch Owner Claims To Have Taken Nintendo To Court Over Joy-Con Drift, And Won

LilMuku

@Zeldafan79 I spilled nothing on my launch joy-cons, was always careful with them, I got the drift.
I mean hell my old 3DS, DSi, DS Lite, GBA SP, original GBA, Wiimote and nunchuk, Gamecube controller, PS1 and PS2 are still in perfect working order.
I suffered bad anger issues as a child btw, and even my console that I used to hit repeatedly still work perfectly.
Sometimes, you just have to admit that Nintendo are rubbish now.

Re: Online Retailer Cancels Orders For Super Mario 3D All-Stars Due To "Woefully Short" Supply

LilMuku

@dew12333 I grew up back when Nintendo were on it, gave us new games, remakes were special and they actually gave a *****
My first Mario game was the OG all stars, like my first impression of Nintendo was a collection of four NES games remastered for the SNES on one cartridge

Expecting bare minimum from a company that used to make an effort isn’t entitled. Nintendo are that abusive significant other that beats you daily but sometimes gives you a chocolate bar to make you believe they care. 3D All Stars barely evening qualifies as that chocolate bar

Re: Poll: What's The Best 3D Mario Game?

LilMuku

3D Land: 9/10 (Too short)
3D World: 8/10 (honestly don’t know, it just didn’t hit quite right)
64: 8/10 (aged horribly, can’t stand the controls and physics)
64 DS: 5/10 (D-Pad and Yoshi)
Galaxy: 7/10 (it looks better than it plays imo)
Galaxy 2: 8/10 (same problem but it has Yoshi and I prefer the old school level progression)
Odyssey: 4/10 (WAAAAAY too short, not many kingdoms, they’re also a bit small)
Sunshine: 3/10 (played it for the first time recently and couldn’t survive half an hour)

@Clyde_Radcliffe Why do I care if people miss out on something they care a lot about, despite the fact that I personally think It's a lazy cash grab?
Oh I don't know, maybe because I understand that even though I think It's rubbish, other people might love it and really want it. There's this amazing thing people have called an "opinion" where they can have thoughts or feelings on something, and It's completely different to how someone else may think or feel about the same thing!
