Forthcoming Switch title Metallic Child is getting a generous helping of crossover DLC from rice farming game Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, it has been revealed.
While details are somewhat thin on the ground at present, publisher Crest has stated that Princess Sakuna will appear in the "Rogue-lite Core-Action" title, which arrives on Switch on September 16th.
This isn't the only collaboration that Sakuna has been involved in; back in July, spirits based on characters from the game appeared in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and more recently it was confirmed that Sakuna costumes would be coming to Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town.
Metallic Child is going digital-only in the west, but if you really want to get your hands on a physical copy, then head over to Play-Asia where you can pick up the Asian edition with English language support.

I need to buy this game LMAO.
Me too, but I’ll wait for performance tests.
LMAO.
I watched the trailer to find out more, and literally all I see is a blur of rapidly cut shots of something, and then at the end someone takes someone's hand.
Yay for Sakuna, I guess.
Sakuna has an adorable design 🥺
Haven’t played it yet though lol
Well I guess I’ll be trying metallic child. I hope all the crossovers mean Edelweiss and Marvelous are trying to fund a Sakuna sequel.
