Tbh base game jamboree really should have been a character and map update for superstars......

It's just that no one asked for a camera they will under utilize or start overcompensating it's use in shovelware games ..or Mario party . Jamtv is a one and done experience ....ppl don't really care about games with a gimmick like that .... Not to mention one that locks modes behind a purchase like this..and still charging full price for the game

@mikegamer yet the ones being reported about are switch era games.....that aren't out of print. You'd have a point if it wasn't about switch games ...but that's what it's about here.

The game itself story character and etc. The shipping wars with the anti woke crowd chiming in and being phobic using wholesome anaversary art (many of which didn't touch the game let alone the series.) viola and how she's handled as a new gen protagonist for the series. Retcons. And etc....alot of fans to the series were burned

And then kamiya and many ppl leaving platinum. Leaving the series in a limbo .. don't know where they can go moving forward with it.

Psp piracy was a huge issue. PS3 PS4 and 5 barely have emulators ... And heck ps3-4 players hated the idea of games getting ported to other systems I remember how hard they gatekept persona and final fantasy because it went multiplay several years later. I blame the maximum graphics crowd on this. Ray tracing, 4k, hair physics, ultra realistic environments seeing veins, spores in skin singular blades of grass and etc high fps PC and console gamers wanted and pushed for every generation. To the point that's the main focus on a game and not gameplay fun etc. which games take longer or are a make it or break it towards a games production.

@ottoecamn dlc came later in wiius life. Mk8d was a deluxe port.... And the only reason that got dlc was to preserve most of the tour tracks and tbh tour nerfed then ...

Hope they add over customization from this and miitopia to the default mii maker in switch 2. We've needed more options and customization wince the Wii wiiu 3ds and switch for the mii maker

Hope they actually go back to the whole ....mansion part of the game. The environments actually are mansions....with rooms that make sense to be in a mansion... No smrooms that don't belong. Lm2 didn't do it for me as the mlrooms were out there and realistically didn't work or fit a mansion. The other "mansions" weren't even mansions either

Atleast 3 tried to fit the hotel resort theme ....but still felt odd ..the hotel was only barely 2 floors. Then a garden disco medieval castle movie studios meauseum etc. some floors were just out there ... Feeling like the hotel part was kinda ditched.

At best they can do a open town setting wondering the street building to building cleaning the town out or reclaiming it from ghost. Portrait ghosts or new humanoid ghostly residents can come in. Haunted baker ghost takes over the town bakery. With his own mini lore bio examples like that

@BANJO tbh they ramped up the minigame parts. Which slown the pace down to a crawl. Violas sections aren't that con as her controls differ. Bayonettas relies on her demons slaves to do damage and enemies can hit you across the map off screen sometimes with no warning

Gameplay can be fun at times but can slowdown.... I wish they added more verses where you can't use demon slave and fight only the smaller enemies and foot soldiers. The gamorah fights ppl are vocal about hating. As well as viola and Jeanne chapters. Mainly viola.

@BANJO tbh I'm glad b3's director is gone... Hopefully someone else handles the character and lore a lot better. Soft Reboot the series. Bring out another new universe that isn't attached to the previous games. Bring in another universes bayo with her own story to tell. Shouldn't be hard they already did that with b3's bayo

tjust focus on the original dark vs light premise. No love interests, no over complicated stuff. Combo Combat, spectacle battles ditch the minigame sections.show her being a badass and don't over do her tropes. Hire a actual dancer and not someone trying to do tiktoklike vogue ballet moves I guess. And hire a actual British person to voice her.

Tbh i dont even believe ps2 is at 160 mill. Because Sony alone upped the numbers...and the system has long been discontinued... For the most part switch has already out performed the ps2

@Ramen756 to be honest sega didnt even want to fund the series.... if nintendo doesnt foot the bill i thing it be an end to the series....... b3 also kinda burnt the fans it did have... minigames, viola, the story, the mishandling of the character bayonetta herself

@Cathalm excelled in just the demon slave mechanic.... Violas sections and Jeanne's no one was writing home about. And the games minigame sections slowsed the pace to a crawl.... Wished they added more segments where you weren't fighting huge enemies that relied on demonslave to make a dent

@Cathalm omtbh...the series seems like it's dead.... The og bayo isn't even in 3 as they made it a new universe. Just to kill that Bayonetta off for viola...a character no one but a handful like... Kamiya left. 1-2's writers long gone and b3's writer confused on the tone character and lore in previous titles ... B3 burned alot of ppl.... Sucks because cereza and the lost demons writers actually did great!!! Even when trying to make sense of singularity and the fairies being shoehorned in. If only they where the ones handling b3''s story...

Maybe go back to story complimenting the gameplay ....

Will switch 2 actually have actual AAA 3rd party support where the games are actually correct/new gen titles that aren't ps3-xbox360 ported titles...?

@Ogbert hopefully viola is a small spin off character.... Do what they did for origins for her.... Either that or make her some universe hopping character as they just reset reboot the series where we play as another universes bayo. Like they did with b3 since it's confirmed b3 bayo is a completely different Bayonetta from the old 1-2 continuity

@Samalik violas ok......for astral chain....not Bayonetta ... Her humor doesn't really fit.... I get she's like Luka... But there was a reason Luka wasn't popular... Nobody cared.... And after 3 he had a boost but he still isn't popular as the rest ... His relevance was extremely forced...

@Samalik game play was decent when it's not forcing demon slave viola segmans jeannes and a gimic minigame gimmick hurts replayability....

Story, characters and lore took a huge nosedive... Too many vague parts and plot holes.... The writing was absolutely horrible
