Tips for anyone taking a stab at zelda 2, go get the downward stab and jump downward stab is op for most enemies. Jump slash enemies head is also a good thing to practice, as you fall from a jump before you hit the ground slash their head. Works great on knights with shield. Don't be afraid to lose a continue it starts you off in the beginning of the room you just entered to gain full hp and magic. (except the last temple which starts you off at the very beginning)

I just beat it last week. Personally don't think it's that divisive in fact the temple in smash melee derives from Zelda 2. A lot of conventions from it were used in the making of OOT which initially started as a remake project for it. Hell even the game sold well.

@JoakimZ Ye because Harmony was cancelled internally it wouldn't have delivered if it had released. @Dalamar They delivered the Tropical freeze switch port in 2018 and Prime remastered in 2023.

@TheFrenchiestFry Alan wake is actually self published by Remedy so yes they could port that. Quantum Break would require microsofts permission but I wouldn't expect native anyway its about on the level of control graphically.

They could just get an outsourced team to port it doesn't have to be sakurai.

the problem with fighting games in general day 1 patch renders a printed guide useless if it has a large amount of changes this has been true since street fighter 4 came out. the guide basically just becomes a low quality artbook at that point.
