Capcom has released a brand-new gameplay trailer for Mega Man: Dual Override, scheduled to release on Switch and Switch 2 in 2027.

The footage showcases some typical Mega Man action, with lots of jumping, sliding, and shooting, but naturally we get a glimpse at some new mechanics conjured up for this new entry. This includes new costumes, the ability to hover and phase through enemies, and more.

There's also a new enemy to keep an eye on called Twinkle Girl... hehehe, Twinkle Girl..??.... who confronts Mega Man in a classic boss battle. Oh, and Proto Man's back too. Nice!

To cap it all off, Capcom has also confirmed that a new Mega Man-themed skin pack will be added to Pragmata later this year. The game received a lot of speculation prior to its release that it was actually related to the Mega Man IP in some way, so this seems to be Capcom playing along to some degree. In fact, it actually already announced part of it as an April Fool's joke earlier this year!

It all looks awesome; we can't wait to see more.
