Following on from last week's classification in South Korea, the upcoming Switch release Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition has now received an ESRB rating in North America. According to Japanese Nintendo, this information was discovered on Nintendo's webpage for the game.

Like previous entries in the Xenoblade Chronicles series, the Definitive Edition has been rated T for Teen:

Blood, Mild Language, Partial Nudity, Use of Alcohol and Tobacco, Violence

While a rating might not be considered very exciting news, it often means an official release date announcement is the way.

As for when this game could be released, there's been rumour since January of a May launch. This stems from a Danish retailer that updated its Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition page to 29th May. As previously noted, if this is true, it would follow on from the Trials of Mana remake in April.
