They lost me with this one. I like the idea of an open world Sonic, but it should have been done as a recreation of retro Sonic level theming.. The combat also breaks the flow and doesn’t feel at all like Sonic.

Sin & Punishment 1 & 2 HD collection NEEDS to happen. Make it so and Treasure will have funding for S&P 3. Easy day.

I’m very excited for this! Rail shooters are underrated, I would love to see more Panzer Dragoon, and a return of Sin and Punishment to scratch that itch.

I always wanted a remix of Zelda I and II. Give us Zelda I overworld with Zelda II random encounters. Dungeons should be a cross between the two. Something like this with towns and random story encounters with 8 bit Gorons, Zora, Rito, and Gerudo, would be amazing..

Skyward Sword is worth the double dip. Hope they add content to it like they did with Bowsers Fury. Some additional places to explore in the clouds would be nice.

The original Zelda released on February 21st 1986. Makes sense this direct will at least announce the anniversary in some way.

Mario’s 35th was announced September 3rd, its original release date was September 13th 1985.

I actually don’t want a sequel. I think this is a great Mario game as a stand-alone experience. I would much rather have a sequel to 3D World with more characters to choose from in multiplayer, and perhaps the hat mechanic thrown in as well. Would be nice to include Wario with his charge mechanic, and maybe give him alternate power ups that are a throw back to his games.

His gameplay should definitely be rhythm based. I would love to see Cadence if they do decide to do rhythm based combat.

It sucks, but it the grand scheme of things it’s not a big deal and will likely be resolved in an update..

Day 1 for both MH Rise and MH Stories 2. Next years line up is looking great!

Hoping for Stories art style, MH Gen/World style gameplay, and inclusion of MHW monsters.

Way too expensive.. They probably should have scaled these down and included 2 in a set with ability to buy additional racers down the line..

Sucks that it’s limited. I’d like to see this evolve into some sort of battle royal Nintendo Remix.

I’m definitely double dipping on this. So excited! I hope Bowsers Fury levels are crazy difficult, and/or allow you to play as Cat Bowser.

Can’t wait to see streamers dig into this and show off their courses. Would be neat if you can pair with friends for 4x4, or to make a much larger track or full circuit.

That Mario Kart game looks dope. Hopefully more racers are released and you can pair with friends tracks for a complete circuit. I look forward to seeing all the crazy courses people make and race on Twitch.

100% agree. Would also cut or overhaul one of the fights with The Imprisoned. It’s too lame of a boss fight to warrant repeating the experience. The second round with him would be ideal for overhaul.

Sorry you’re feeling butt hurt about a failed console having its games ported over to the more successful successor. That’s just good business for Nintendo. They’ll make back their losses, and will likely gain new fans and increased demand for sequels to those titles.

There’s no net positive for Nintendo to keep Wii U games on Wii U.

This is pro consumer. When Nintendo looks at the sales for the games you really want a sequel to, do you want them to look at only the Wii U figures, or at whatever the figures will be combined with the sales on Switch?

Consider how many consoles ago the last F -Zero was and how it sold back then. If it was ported to the Wii with as large of an install base as it had, we would have likely had another game or two in the series by now.

Hoping for a new Donkey Kong Country, or an updated Wario Land.

Now we just need the inevitable LEGO Super Mario World. Something that falls between LEGO City Undercover x Super Mario Maker.

I’m pretty sure Nintendo’s strategy is to let PS5 and Xbox Series X events play out before going all in on a major direct. If they announced anything major today, it would be forgotten mid week when the Xbox event takes place.

This strategy makes sense for competing against the new PS5 and XBox Series X console launches this holiday season. Galaxy 1 & 2 have already been remastered for Nvidia Shield TV in China. Hopefully we get these as well as the Legend of Zelda HD remasters this year. The Mario, Zelda, and Metroid, sequels should come in 2021 and 2022.

Hopefully this sells well and we get a similar treatment for the Oracles games, or perhaps The Minish Cap.

I find one of the biggest wow factors of the reveal, the angry sun, to be the lamest inclusion. It just doesn’t really work as well as it should. Would’ve nice if you could plan it’s trajectory..

Other than that I’m hoping they change things up and give us a WarioLand theme instead of Mario 2.

I hope they give us Vaati or a new big bad

I was talking about Dr Eggman. Jim Carrey has hair for almost the entire trailer. Sonic’s design is really bad though. It just looks awful. They could have done a more true to game design with Pixar style design and made it work a lot better. Sonics design is just hard to look at.

I don’t understand why movies these days give origin story’s to hair loss.. Professor Xavier, Lex Luther, and now Dr Eggman, all have hair before going bald in their movies. This isn’t a good plot device, it’s laziness.

Also, I doubt seriously those robots will have animals inside them to be freed.

A MUST buy if bundled with Labo.

• Slopes, Triangle Blocks, Horizontal direction for Thwomps, More bosses (King Boo, Koopalings, Boom Boom), Charging Chuck, Water bubbles to swim through, Ability to put semi solid platforms and pipes on tracks, Ability to make tracks invisible, Switch boxes.

That’s cool, but I would rather have Bowsette.
