They should had options for either 60fps at 720p or 1080p unlock/30fps

Been playing Warzone a lot the past few weeks on PC. 152 players, free and crossplay. Not usually a BR guy but this has kept me coming back.

All a bit shady. They started a Kickstarter, then games are ready for release in April. Sounds like the games were already completed. I'm sure Kickstarter wasn't invented for this type of crowd funding.

Just started playing it. Unfortunately it crashes a lot and doesn’t automatically save. Stopped playing after latest crash lost me some achievements I gained today. It’s a shame as already put in 6 days worth.

30FPS for a fast action FPS is a big negative - just like Fortnite. Drop the resolution and/or complexity until the Switch hits 60FPS.

Looks a bit dangerous . Assuming with those platform clouds, you can jump through them.

This is a big mistake keeping it at 30FPS - especially when Paladins with similar graphics is running at 60FPS.

I couldn't tell the difference until the NWR screenshot.

@60frames-please I think any fast action game on any console should run at 60fps - this problem isn't just with the Switch even though it has more of an excuse due to lower specs but look at Mario Kart and Splatoon as proof that games can look good and run at 60fps.

Any fast action game should be 60fps. If the developer can't get it to that level, drop the resolution / details etc.

Don't get your hopes up too much - graphics in the video are very misleading. Expect Doom quality downgrade - 720p at best.

@commentlife I think you comparing movies to games was a bit strange for your fps argument. Regarding the Hobbit, because they shot it at a higher frame rate, it actually looked more realistic which put people off it.

Higher FPS affects input lag which is really important in certain games. The Switch unfortunately is struggling power wise. I guess if FPS is really important to some people, get a PC (if you have the £££). I can understand developers grief with it.

@MsK Would be nice if NL reviews stated FPS. BTW if FPS is that important to you, you should look at PC gaming. After playing Doom and GTAV at 4.5K at 60FPS+, it's hard going back to 30FPS.
