I was hoping Nintendo were going to change their E3 ways after the WiiU. They need to have a big press conference to keep the hype going for the Switch.

@russellohh Nintendo could have given you extra battery life but that would either involve a price increase or a spec decrease - and those two options wouldn't be good for Nintendo. I think they got it just right.

Remember when we didn't have to take our shoes off, were able to take liquids on flights without security checks - why was that? . The implementation of the ban is stupid though - lots of ways to get around it.

Well there is a reason they are doing this - instead of blaming Trump / Brexit etc which is the easy thing for the liberal minded to do, ask yourself why they are doing this? There was a time you could go through airport security without much bother. And don't say it's Trump business relationships with those countries, that's the weakest excuse you could possibly come up with.

It's a shame that when a game that can run on the Switch still gets overlooked. Hear great things about those 2 South Park games.

Mine is about 5 feet away and will lose connection if not in line of sight of Switch. Shocking QA by Nintendo.

There is a big difference going from 720p to 1080p in games. I'm getting Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as the graphics in MK8D deserve it (passed 100% on MK8 with all DLC).

I couldn't get the hang of it's steering. Passed F-Zero / Wipe Out games - they were easier for me. Will probably get this though. Oh and having to collect colour dots etc. instead of just racing got in the way.

I'm going back to physical. Will get a microSD card once the indie / digital-only games fill up my Switch - no issue for me.

It's not a developer switch - memory is the consumer standard 32GB - not 64GB which the developer switch has.

@HappyMaskedGuy Media and big corporations runs the government - there's no secret in that - they're the same. When Hilary lost, the big news outlets and corporations freaked out and ramped up the propaganda to the masses. There was a time when news was impartial, fair and balanced - now you have i.e. CNN broadcasting "their" opinions 24/7. People don't realised they're being brainwashed but that's the whole point about propaganda.

@OorWullie Same problem here. Ran out of space. Free up some space - started to download again but stopped with error msg. Free up more space - now won't even start downloading again (even after clearing cache). I see an update coming

@Megas If that's the case, nice. Up to the GameCube, all my consoles were US so needed a transformer - guess it changed at some point. If they've made the power adapter compatible with the US and EU then the plug adapter is all you need.

@Megas I wouldn't think so. It's not a standard option to have. Haven't seen that for any consoles. @Shard1 might sue you if you're wrong

@Megas Are you sure this is a step down transformer and not just a plug adaptor? Transformers are usually a lot bigger than that. You're blow your Switch with the voltage difference (220V compared to 110V) without one.

@JamesR Yeah I cancelled my pro controller and protection case from Amazon and Game and went through the Nintendo Store instead. Saved £7 in total - not much but every bit helps.

WARNING to anyway wanting to use external batterys on planes - most if not all airlines have restrictions on external battries - in either hand baggage or checked in baggage.

@SharkAttackU I didn't say they failed because they were competing on power, they failed because of the kiddie image they've always had and haven't been able to shake it off. When Sony arrived, they changed the stigma of gaming being a kid thing with their brand and Nintendo stupidly helped, as you said by sticking with cartridge. Remember the Gamecube had sufficient storage for 99% of games with their proprietary disks but it was too late by then - gamers had moved to Sony and MS - eventhough the GC could compete technically with the other two.
