@illmatic20xx Yeah I remember reading exactly that. The developer did some very dodgy things which puts a damper on this game.

Oh God! Been hearing about it for the last 4 years and now it's in video games that I use for escapism.

Just bought a GTX1070 PC and just started playing Doom. Would be too much a step backwards to play it on the Switch now (I'm glad the option is there though). The speed, graphics (3375x2250) and detail is incredible. Will get Doom Eternal once it goes on sale on Steam.

I'll wait to see some "gameplay" before deciding. You have the internet for better adult themes if that tickles your fancy.

As I was saying, the Pro will just be a slight boost - not a generation leap that will be Switch 2.

I would love more power. I've got a GTX980M in my Surface Studio and I was surprised how well it ran. The improved graphics are tempting me away from Nintendo. I still think the Pro will be 2020 but hoping this year.

I know him from CND and he seems like a nice guy. He's right about social media though having a negative impact on lots of people (especially young ones).

@sanderev I would love the Switch Pro to match the XB1 but I really just think it will be a slight boost over what we have atm. Time will tell.

@sanderev I think 2020 for the Switch Pro and 2024 for the Switch 2 (with same performance as the PS4, XB1). Remember, you've heard it here first!

I'm hoping the deals mean the Switch Pro isn't too far away - before the end of the year.

Typical. Always prefer physical if possible but not waiting around on the off chance they do (especially if they have a eshop sale for a game on my watch list). I don't double dip.

It would be cool if it was linked to a online weather service so that the game reflects the weather / temp wherever you are located.

After checking on YouTube, I was amazed with what you can now do with modifications to the Switch (i.e overclocking to make games running smoother etc) - playing Doom3, PS1, N64 and open source games to name a few.

I always buy physical if possible but I hate it when they do limited runs of games that you could only buy digitally before. I'm not double dipping.

OMG just checked his twitter page. His home page banner (or whatever you call it) is calling people that don't post in Japanese as insects. I have the highest respect for the Japanese but this guy is a .,,.,m,.,m,.,!

@dequesi Crazy! I would be glad of any messages of thanks in any language. That sucks - I love his games but that puts a negative point against them. Definitely wouldn't buy any merchandise from him then.
