Games from my childhood were basically decided by demos. Parents would give a PlayStation magazine that came with a demo disc, hoping that disc would keep me occupied long enough and I would play certain demos of games for eternity so if I would actually get the full game of a demo one day, it felt like unlocking rare treasure of Atlantis.
I know this is probably a stupid reason but, ever since Jirard stated that Super Mario Odyssey is better than Breath of the Wild I was kinda done with him.
I will forever state, The House in Fata Morgana: Dreams of the Revenants was a waste of money and doesn't deserve any praise or credit. It is objectively bad.
Sometimes I wonder if the Switch really isn't all that powerful, then I remember one of it's main launch titles was Breath of the Wild, which is graphically stunning and a massive game overall.
Said to myself that I'll get it if it gets outstanding reviews because I do want me another banger pokemon game but I guess games like SoulSilver are a one done deal.
It's so strange. I actually feel nostalgic thinking back about starting with Animal Crossing NH back in lockdown. That game was one of the few things that kept me sane.
So funny, all this time I had little to no interest in playing Splatoon 3 as I sucked at Splatoon 2. Then on launch day, just seeing it pop up in the eshop and I was like 'meh to hell with it' and bought it. My mind works in stupid ways.
Got it and already a lot of fun. Slightly annoyed though that all the guides, artwork and boxes always need a second to load. Give us a new Switch Pro goddammit!
Metroid Prime. Huge gamble because I just at random asked this game for my birthday without knowing a thing about the Metroid series and that apparently it was a traditional side-scroller before Prime. I even wasn't a big first person shooter fan but something about the game just looked appealing. It ended up being one of my best birthdays .
I always felt dreadful realizing I have about 100 games on the switch and yet barely play any of them but what a relief knowing now there are players out there with over 2000 games. What a feel good moment.
Oh my, not a great score! Better not buy this wav-oh wait, I got the booster pass already so why bother? Why bother reviewing this anyways? Can't you lot wait until the end of 2023?
If this truly is the new No Mercy, then yes bloody please! Though I'm too scared it could be a broken port. Switch is cursed when it comes to wrestling games.
Let everyone think whatever they want, I greatly enjoyed Sunshine when it came out and still do to this day. It was the main reason I got the 3D collection.
