Splatoon 3

Ladies and gentlemen, the week! Welcome back to another Monday folks, but hey, it's not all doom and gloom. Here we have the latest UK charts for you to take a look over and brighten your day being safe in the knowledge that a Nintendo title is once again at number one!

In case the title didn't give it away already, this week sees the ink-redible rise of Splatoon 3, with the Switch's newest shooter sequel coming straight in at number one in the charts (it's also sold pretty spectacularly in Japan too, according to Nintendo!). We are elated to see the game performing so well. After our glowing 9/10 review described the game as "the pinnacle of the series, and the pinnacle of shooters on Switch", we are pleased to see the UK sales reflect the game's supremacy.

Last week's rising Switch star, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, has unfortunately fallen out of the top ten this time (down to a totally un-tubular 17th, in fact) meaning that it is business as usual with the other Nintendo titles taking to the chart. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Nintendo Switch Sports, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Minecraft and Pokémon Legends: Arceus once again fill in the gaps with their innate replayability shining through as usual.

That's quite enough yapping from us, however, here's the UK top ten charts in full:
