@LuigiBlood the problem is, we’re 7 years into this subscription.
People that really want these games are enthousiasts, and most of them have been subscribed for these 7 years.
Add the fact that we’re getting into another 7-8 years of this model soon and how they barely license any new games now, and it’s easy to see how this is not a good deal.
@kkslider5552000 The math doesn't math. It's 65 a year here in Canada, and N64 were 10 each. Over a few years you're definitely losing with this subscription.
@Bluerangervegeta I hope you changed your mind after this message. The amiibo pack has been constantly on sale for the past 3 years and is still in stock lol
@KryptoniteKrunch I used it to upgrade my equipment because asking for 420 amber is simply RIDICULOUS. 100 hours, mostly of farming the underground and I only had 150 lol
@jmvalone I agree, unless they have some extraordinary title for the holidays but we saw last year they’re willing to release niche titles during that timeframe.
@blindsquarel Man, obviously I can do the math, the problem is that this represent absolutely no deal. Usually it wouldve been games worth 10 not 25. You'll give them games worth 40-45 used, twice, on top of 20, it's just crazy
@Snatcher I feel like you can trust critics for video games most of the time (unless politics are involved), but movie critics are impossible to trust. I'd even say, you should watch any movie they hate and you'll probably have a good time.
@Jiggies Yeah, thats what is weird to me. Like seriously read most of these reviews, they're talking about this as if it should be an independent movie talking about a dying horse who has cancer.
This is a freaking Mario movie, it's not supposed to have the deepest plot, people want to watch it for fun. But these critics are so disconnected that it's hard to believe. Thing is, most of the time when people like something, they want to bash it to attract more views.
Started with the first model but once I was done with Ocarina of Time 3D I didn’t see the point of that $250 system and resold it as soon as I could.
As soon as I saw them releasing the 3DS XL Zelda a Link Between Worlds, I had to buy it and completely falled in love with it. By that point they had so many great games on it that it surpassed the Wii and Wii U in just a few years.
Finally, to continue the trend, I had to buy the New 3DS Xl Triforce edition to complete my Zelda collection. One of the best hardware Nintendo ever produced without a doubt.
I clearly loved it more than my Wii U, but the Switch did change my perspective a bit now and I stopped loving it as much as I did before, but overall it is a great system regardless.
20 hours in I have to say it’s one of the best Fire Emblem I’ve played. I just couldn’t stop playing, the story and characters are not so interesting in the first hours but once you reach the second region it’s so much better. The emphasis on combat this time is also a big plus compared to Three Houses.
I also really love the Emblem system, it adds something to the combat and connects it to prior games.
You’re right and wrong at the same time. There is really no legislation about this at the moment. Those agreements are used to protect them, but they wouldn’t stand if a specific country create legislatures to address this problem.
@HexagonSun So basically you prefer paying $50 every year to be allowed to play a few and keep paying every year? Servers shutdown or not, I’ll always have access on my Wii and Wii U, you won’t as soon as they decide to shutdown the service
@TheWingedAvenger You realize they’re already a commercial success? People want powerful hardware, the gpu market and the PS5 and Series X success are the proof of that. Gaming has changed and merged into the kind of evolution we’d see on PC hardware, and that’s no surprise, as the new systems are even using its architecture.
@UsurperKing I absolutely agree with you, Switch is wonderful. I was just trying to show him his vision is subjective and I’m allowed to enjoy the gamepad features, something he doesn’t like, as much as he’s allowed to like taking his Switch at work.
I’m a big fan of the quality of life the gamepad adds to a game like Wind Waker. To me, that’s worth more than being able to take the game anywhere.
@Donutman then you should refrain from judging people playing on Wii U, ‘cause it’s much weirder to play games on your lunch break than it is enjoying this system
@Spyyd To be honest, I’m the Switch biggest fan, but I’m always gonna play those games on the Wii U for the gamepad features. I recently replayed both WW and TP, and you have no idea how boring it is to open the menu every 2 seconds. Botw would also be a Wii U only if they didn’t remove these features later on.

Even most casuals want to play a few games only.

They’re close to their all time high sub count and keep very high numbers on streaming site. WoW is still very relevant, even 20 years later.

@Xiovanni or they are calming down their money laundering schemes.
