@AlternateButtons My joycons are in a case when I'm not using them. I wash my hands before I use them. They have never been dropped or thrown, or touched the hands of children. And yet, the left joystick drifts. This has nothing to do with care.
Great article. I too decided this game was much better played without the motion controls. And I will miss my monthly Arms Party. Sad to see this game go, and I hope this isn't the last we see of Arms.
@JackEatsSparrows Yeah I haven't been having any issues either. At least not like I was with Mario Tennis Aces. By the way, your profile pic is adorable.
Wow, I was expecting game release to speed up, not slow down. This is kind of ridiculous. Lack of a real virtual console is one the Switchs biggest weaknesses.
@Agramonte I'm sorry, but the graphics in MHGU are much worse that Dauntless. If you like MHGU, maybe that's proof a game shouldn't be judged by its graphics alone.
@NEStalgia The art style has been the same since the game was announced. I think the idea was that it could run on lots of different systems, from low end to high end, which is probably also Fortnite's goal too.
This game roll out is happening incredible slow, which is made even more frustrating by the fact that so far, more often than not, one of the "new" games is a special edition of what we already have.
I keep almost buying this. I've never played Lumines before, but I really like the idea of the controllers rumbling to the beat, which matches up with the puzzle solving.
I got the family plan for my household and have been happy with it. I don't understand all these people who think the main thing they are paying for is the NES games. I am paying to play online, those are just a bonus to sweeten the deal.
@Blizzia Agreed on all counts. Matchmaking was taking the longest it ever has for me, and kept matching my team against much more skilled opponents. Every match was a blowout, even the one match I won was a blowout.
I wish there was a way to buy this physical and then upgrade to the deluxe edition digitally to get the rest of the ships. I really only want a physical Arwing.
I understand the reasoning behind removing features, but that's a deal breaker for me. If these were fully featured, I would have bought every one of them.
@DreamerAbe86 It absolutely effects others. I've had a gym stolen out from under me and a friend by a guy who was running 4 accounts by himself. That sucks, and I'm glad to see anyone with multiple accounts getting punished.
@NEStalgia Wow yeah, thank you for clarification. That is a lot. But I would still argue that if the only noticeable boost is faster downloads, it's still not really necessary.
@NEStalgia The Switch only supports UHS-1, so these no need to spend money on faster, more expensive cards. A good size (128gb) UHS-1 card can be found for under $30.
@DoomTurtle This game has been more than playable since they released it. The frame rate issue only seems to be a problem for a small group of very sensitive people.

Great article. I too decided this game was much better played without the motion controls. And I will miss my monthly Arms Party. Sad to see this game go, and I hope this isn't the last we see of Arms.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 4th)
I will definitely be getting into some Starlink. I picked it up again when the new content came out and I've really been enjoying it.
Re: Star Wars Pinball Is Coming To Switch With Exclusive Features And A Physical Edition
Starfighter Assault is my favorite virtual pinball table. This is great news!
Re: Nintendo Switch And 3DS Blockbuster Sale Starts 11th April, Up To 60% Off Top Games
@Starvald Yeah that would make a lot of sense. That game could use some fresh blood.
Re: Out There: Ω The Alliance Brings Award-Winning Space Exploration To Switch Next Week
This is a great game, but no reason to buy it again for 3 times the price.
Re: Bubsy: Paws On Fire! Comes To Switch In May Whether You Want It To Or Not
Wow, didn't realize there is so much Bubsy hate. I enjoyed the 1st game on SNES, so I might give this a shot.

Really wish we had just gotten Mega Battle.
Re: Review: Sid Meier's Civilization VI - Conquer The World On The Move In This Superb Port
Reading this review post Tetris 99, and the how do you improve a game like Tetris bit make me chuckle. Who could have seen that one coming?

@tourjeff Me. I care.
Re: WaterField's Latest Switch Storage Solution Brings You The 'Switch Taco'
This is a nice bag, but not over $100 nice. It doesn't even seem like it would be that protective.

@JackEatsSparrows Yeah I haven't been having any issues either. At least not like I was with Mario Tennis Aces. By the way, your profile pic is adorable.

So basically don't play anything online tonight.

@BlueBlur101 I think you missed something in the article.
Re: Enter The Dragon's Lair When The Classic Trilogy Arrives On Switch eShop Next Week
@GrailUK It was also a super expensive game to play in the arcade, at least in the US.
Re: Blaster Master And Zelda II Arrive On The Switch Online NES Service This Month
Wow, I was expecting game release to speed up, not slow down. This is kind of ridiculous. Lack of a real virtual console is one the Switchs biggest weaknesses.
Re: Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes eShop Listing Reveals Pricing, File Size, Season Pass Content And More
I'm really curious about this game, but just not sure what to think. The season pass confuses me even more.
Re: Reminder: Katamari Damacy Reroll Is Out Now On Nintendo Switch
Everyone is complaining about the controls, but they are basically the same as a zero turn radius mower.

Re: Reminder: Three New NES Games Have Launched On Switch Today, Plus Another Bonus SP Version

Re: Lumines Remastered On Switch Is The Best-Selling Version Of The Game
I keep almost buying this. I've never played Lumines before, but I really like the idea of the controllers rumbling to the beat, which matches up with the puzzle solving.
Re: Strategy Guide Publisher Prima Games Is Shutting Down After 28 Years
This is really sad. I've used their guides for years and just bought several this year for Switch games.
Re: Random: 70-Year-Old Pokémon Player Ditches His Bike For A Fearsome Full-Body Rig
While I appreciate this guy's dedication, isn't this a violation of terms of service?
Re: Photorealistic Graphics Didn't Match Welcoming Nature Of Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee
@CosmoXY Hmmmm good to know. That is definitely mixed messaging.

Re: Splatoon 2's Worldwide Halloween Splatfest Saw Team Treat Pull The Victory Out Of The Bag

Re: Photorealistic Graphics Didn't Match Welcoming Nature Of Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee
@CosmoXY Its not a mainline game. That's coming next year.
Re: Review: Starlink: Battle For Atlas - A Shining Example Of Open World Star Fox Done Right
I wish there was a way to buy this physical and then upgrade to the deluxe edition digitally to get the rest of the ships. I really only want a physical Arwing.
Re: Starlink: Battle For Atlas Physical Release Will Require A 6GB Day One Update
Not a big deal to me, but a I bought physical for the figurines.
Re: Hori Releasing Pikachu Themed D-Pad Joy-Con On 16th November
I understand the reasoning behind removing features, but that's a deal breaker for me. If these were fully featured, I would have bought every one of them.
Re: Nintendo Switch Version Of Paladins Is Adding Gyro Controls Next Month
This is a game maker for me. Not a fan of playing FPS games with only joysticks, so if this works like Splatoon 2, I'll be thrilled.

Re: Play It Loud With This Dedicated Portable Speaker For Nintendo Switch
I am not surprised to see this. Some games like Mario Tennis are just super quiet. I was playing in tabletop mode and could barely hear the game.
Re: Video: Nintendo Switch Online Cloud Saves Offer Peace of Mind, But It’s Not Quite There Yet
@RennanNT I did do all of them individually, but I wish they was one button to back everything up. Doing 20+ games one at a time got a bit tedious.
Re: Video: Nintendo Switch Online Cloud Saves Offer Peace of Mind, But It’s Not Quite There Yet
Really wish there was a way to manually back up ever eligible game. Left mine over night and things are still not backed up.
Re: Wireless NES Controllers Won't Work With Other Games On Nintendo Switch
@Lizuka Seriously agree. The mini is a way better option.
Re: Wizard Of Legend Receiving Magical Sky Palace Update Later This Year
@mozzy1 I feel the same. I do fine in Dead Cells, but Wizard of Legend kicks my butt.
Re: Your Nintendo Switch Cloud Save Files Will Be Lost If Your Online Subscription Expires
LOL at all the people saying this is normal when literally none of the other consoles do it this way.
Re: Moonlighter Opens For Business On Nintendo Switch This November
@BenAV I'm with you. I thought late September was pretty locked in.
Re: Nintendo Website Confirms Multiple Switch Games Will Not Support Cloud Saves
@Aurumonado I like backing up my saves in general, and Nintendo has made it so the cloud is the only way to do that.
Re: Guide: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For September And October
Can't wait for Starlink! Also really looking forward to Moonlighter.
Re: Video: 13 Nintendo Switch Games You Should Look Out For In September
