So there is standard and arcade steering. I don’t notice the difference. Not slipping in either one? I think the game defaults to standard. I’m surprised the original arcade controls weren’t set as default.

It's too late for me as well. I'm returning my unopened copy back to Amazon. Based off their comments....they still won't hit 30 fps unless it looks like an atari jag game.

I remember playing this game in the arcade when it came out. Omg I sucked so bad...the quarters I wasted..... It like one big QTE...all about the timing. It's tough but rewarding. And when you die, it takes you right back to the checkpoint very quickly, if my memory is correct.

Way too many games being released these days. I hope the eshop gets updated again so I can find crap. Start off by making the wish list bigger. My old eyes are having trouble. It's as bad as the font in doom ☹️

Definitely needs stick control added. Seems like an odd omission. The rumble is also too much so I turned it off. Other than that......this game is awesome. Hopefully we'll get some new skins etc in future updates. I could see Mario as a perfect fit.
