I think it looks damn incredible in handheld mode. I used to build pcs and always having to upgrade graphic cards....memory..etc.....just to play at the highest setting took its toll on me just trying to have fun playing games. I spent all my time tweaking this n that...so once I finally gave up my OCD....I would play all my PC games on lower settings...and the joy of gaming came back. I no longer care...... Gameplay is more impt than graphics. Yes I want it to look nice...but like myself... It doesn't have to be perfect. Enjoy the actual game. Lifes too short to do anything else.
Looks ok. Not great. I'm still getting it because fps' are my jam.....
What would be better suited for the switch..in my opinion... would be classic FPS like Quake....etc. They would probably run at 60 fps. Maybe the original half life too
Good stuff to put on your holiday list! Once you have it..you'll love it. Let someone else buy it. I have the switch city slicker case as well and it fits like a glove
I have multiple cases by them and they really are awesome. All hand made in the USA and the customer service is outstanding. My 3ds and vita cases have taken a beating over the years yet they're still like new.
@Tate24 couldn't have said it better myself. I think that's part of the problem with reviews. There are too many games and not enough time to thoroughly play them as intended... And most sites want reviews out asap. Not their fault. Just the reality.
I get it....reviews are subjective but damn....the reason I questioned it is a majority of your switch reviews (for some truly iffy games) were given 8s.... so it seemed off this game scored so low.
Creating cloud saves or an option to back up to the SD card is not rocket science. Stop. I know at least 10 people who could do this for your Nintendo. Just let me know if you need their contact information👍
Fix the silly save issue..along with the ability to have your account on multiple devices.
Elliot Quest has a few new elements on Switch, also being patched into the 3DS version
Posted on October 17, 2017 by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News, Switch eShop
After previously hitting both Wii U and 3DS, Elliot Quest makes the jump to Switch this week. It’s been listed on the eShop, but we’ve officially confirmed with PlayEveryWare that the worldwide release is set for October 19.
We also have some news about content updates. For the new Switch version, PlayEveryWare implemented the following:
– Easy mode (you don’t lose XP when you die, and increased the level cap to 25)
– Feather’s teleport mechanic updated so that you can choose from a few places on the world map rather than just the first village
– One of the NPCs has been updated to provide a map to the crystals and bosses, to help players figure out where they might want to go next
I didn't think I was going to love this as much as I do. Freakin awesome. Love all of it... And especially the crafting. Its not complicated at all. I hate games that are crazy complicated. This has the perfect balance.
I really love the look but after reading tons of reviews of the complete edition on ps4...I have to pass. I hate limited inventory and super high difficulty. Such a gorgeous game too but I know I'll get super frustrated 😞
I couldn't be happier with the switch. It fits my needs perfectly. I missed out on the NES and now SNES because Im always working so if Nintendo really wants to make the Switch truly remarkable.....they will release all the Snes/Nes games INCLUDING Star Fox 2 on the Eshop. Do right by your loyal subjects. 😝
Using the stylus kills my hand and nintendos thumb stylus wasn't great but I found an awesome new ring stylus at http://www.txtrng.com/. It' amazing and it needs to be packed in with every game and system. It's that good. Perfect for kid Icarus. You can comfortably hold the system with both hands. I told the developer to give one to Nintendolife for review. I actually bought 4 so I have them incase they ever go out of business! I can't believe Nintendo the king of innovation didn't think of it first. $30 bucks for two may seem high but worth every penny IMHO.

Re: Review: Rocket League (Switch eShop)
I still play my vectrex to this day. 😍
Re: Review: Rocket League (Switch eShop)
@carlos82 I'm still here. Been playing since 1975 👍
Re: Review: Rocket League (Switch eShop)
After reading all the responses... And even though I'll do a lot of offline play...I don't think I can not buy it. I'm must play it asap!
Re: Review: Rocket League (Switch eShop)
@XenoShaun shame there isn't a cup championship or something. I suspect some folks won't get it if its online MP only.
Re: Review: Rocket League (Switch eShop)
@Ledgendt thanks
Re: Review: Rocket League (Switch eShop)
@AcridSkull thanks! I don't have a lot of time these days so ill have to pass since single play is bogus
Re: Review: Rocket League (Switch eShop)
Single player ok too? Or boring

Re: WaterField Launches Its Arcade Gaming Case for Nintendo Switch
@ACK I'm not a hipster... Just a 47 yr old kid who likes quality things. Don't hate... Appreciate.
Re: WaterField Launches Its Arcade Gaming Case for Nintendo Switch
For me I needed something a little more professional so it blends with my work gear better. Different strokes for different folks 😜

Re: Review: Heroes Of The Monkey Tavern (Switch eShop)
@dregs78 agreed. I can give 💩💩's about the icon.
Re: Review: Heroes Of The Monkey Tavern (Switch eShop)
How long to complete?

Re: Review: Splasher (Switch eShop)
My biggest disappointment was 88 heroes. It was a turd.
Re: Review: Morphite (Switch eShop)
@gurtifus. Me too. Better than most switch eshop games I downloaded. Enjoying it a lot!

Its all good👍
Re: Review: Morphite (Switch eShop)
Love this site but the reviews are whack. So many sub par games get 8's but this gets 6 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏻♂️

I would like to own more than one switch.
Re: Ittle Dew 2+ Begins Its Switch Adventure Very Soon
I'll get it but I don't like the artwork. Not a fan of cartoonish games.
Re: Earth Atlantis Gets a Notable Update on Switch
Slap a sale on it and I'm in. 😜

I thought the dev updated this with some NPCs that will point u in the right direction? 🤔
Re: Review: The Mummy Demastered (Switch eShop)
Since Halloween 🎃 is coming... This would have been smart to release on sale!
Re: Review: The Mummy Demastered (Switch eShop)
I love nintendolife. Its my favorite site but I always drop their scores by 1 or 2. They're way to generous.
Re: Review: The Mummy Demastered (Switch eShop)
20 beans....
Re: Review: The Mummy Demastered (Switch eShop)
I want it but it feels like a 14.99 game. I'll wait for a modest price drop
Re: Review: The Mummy Demastered (Switch eShop)
Destructoid gave it a 7.5. Said it took around 4 hrs to complete the first run. Didn't get all the relics.
Re: Out Today: Enticing Switch eShop Titles Arrive to Stretch Your Bank Account
I'll get the mummy since its wayforward and wait till the prices of the other games get in line with their counterparts on other platforms.
Re: Snake Pass Is Half Off on the North American eShop
This game is the perfect example why we need more demos.
Re: Snake Pass Is Half Off on the North American eShop
Personally I didn't like the game at all.
Re: Amazon Opens Pre-Orders for New Nintendo 3DS XL - Super NES Edition in North America
I pre ordered it. Its ugly but so was my childhood. Lol.
Re: Amazon Opens Pre-Orders for New Nintendo 3DS XL - Super NES Edition in North America
I like Europes design better though
Re: Amazon Opens Pre-Orders for New Nintendo 3DS XL - Super NES Edition in North America
I think I like it?
Re: King Oddball is Looking to Rule the Switch eShop Very Soon
The reason I love dedicated video game handheld and consoles is to get away from the shovelware crap.
I LOVE the Switch but this needs to be controlled. Organize the Eshop and put these games in a Cellphone game category or something.
Re: King Oddball is Looking to Rule the Switch eShop Very Soon
I'm kinda getting tired of phone games on the switch.....especially at a higher price. SMDH 💩
Re: Egads, You Can Now Use Wireless Headphones With Switch Thanks To The 4.0.0 Update
Airpods need to work. I love em

Does the game auto save?

Re: Review: Soldam: Drop, Connect, Erase (Switch)
No way I'm spending 30 beans. 9.99 max
Re: Feature: Japanese Dev Legend Tak Fujii On His Switch Music Exclusive Gal Metal
Good to see diversity but not my cup of tea
Re: Reminder: Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is Out Today on the Switch eShop
I love the art style so I may pick it up after work for solo play. Love supporting Indies. I'll let y'all know how it is later tonight 😝
Re: Reminder: Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is Out Today on the Switch eShop
I wish we had more demos in the Switch Eshop
Re: Stardew Valley Arrives on the Switch eShop This Week
It's time I finally clone myself and get another Switch. 😜
