@ThanosReXXX Happy new year!!! I also have a Dreamcast....I still love power stone on it after all these years... For some reason I have a big soft spot for systems that failed...3DO...saturn...jag...etc. I was the fool that preordered all of em. I remember playing road rash on the 3do nonstop for weeks 😝. I didn't buy top hunter yet but its next up on the list. I'm in the process of moving so I've been swamped. Exciting but stressful. 😊

@ThanosReXXX I was a huge C64 fan...and my all time favorite home systems are the Jaguar and Sega Saturn. For the Saturn I still play DATONA! all the time and I love me some Panzer Dragoon Saga every once in a while.

My favorite game of all time is tempest... And I actually have a ball bearing spinner controller for the Jaguar. OMG is unbelievable 😱.

This is a simple feel good story about some students showing their teacher how much they care about him. It doesn't need to be a crazy ass debate about anything else

The bottom line is it was a sweet gesture for a man who lost his wife and may lose his child.

We need more acts of kindness like this in the world.. Big and small.

Video games are powerful escapes that can help some people through tough times. I had a lovely alcoholic father who was a jerk off and my Atari 2600 took me away to another world when I needed it the most. That's why I still play games at 47 yrs old. This guy will now have a few minutes a day to get away

@AlternateButtons its too haphazard for me. Yes there's skill involved...lots of it...but no matter how much I play..there's just too much luck involved...imho. It just didn't click for me... But then again I was never a huge soccer fan. I was hoping this game would change my mind but nope.

Too floaty for me if that makes sense. I like my games tight. This feels like pong off its Ritalin.

@Shellcore I couldn't agree with you more. Maybe this is worth 20 bucks but no more. And price needs to be a part of the discussion. I've been unhappy with the pricing of all these Eshop games being 500% more expensive on switch than where they came from. I know u got development costs but damn. If you dare to charge AAA pricing then don't be lazy and leave behind remnants of its mobile ancestry.

All that being said..good for them capitalizing on the fact there are no racers like this yet on the switch. I cant buy an overpriced mobile game just because I have no other options. Some folks will which is ok.. Different strokes for different folks.

Once the Switch is more mature... Then I hope prices start falling more in line with reality.

Side rant..the Eshop is a mess. Organize it by category and make sure one of them is for mobile phone ports.

If the game was a 10....I wouldn't care as much of its mobile origins....but a 7 isn't worth a 4 star meal. It feels like ill be eating fast food with a cloth napkin on my lap. Or like George Costanza....eating my Snickers with a knife and fork. This game should be 20 bucks max.
