Either Next level are using some amazing compression techniques, or this game is gonna start out like aces and super rush did at launch. I'm hoping for the former.

Now that virtual console is technically gone, they’re either going to have to offer us a way to purchase these games outright, with a large library, or give us a wider selection of retro games across their entire library on other consoles through NSO. If they don’t, they are literally only offering a fraction of their games through proper means, and excluding several games that would very likely sell very well on Switch.

That’s a nice addition, though most people will probably buy it anyway

It will be so upsetting if the only character who doesn’t get an amiibo is Sora.

It’s probably just switch online, because if they do add more content later (which they most likely will), it will probably be free just like Aces and Super Rush.

Why does Nintendo copyright claim music on yt but doesn’t offer any way for us to listen to it outside of games and some promotional cds. It’s not like having these songs online is harming them in any way.

Let’s be real here, this obviously means we’re getting MK8DX DLC, Mario Kart 9, and a new F-Zero game.

If this is true, we’ll probably see it in a direct in the next few weeks.

How does Nintendo manage to keep their game’s file sizes so small?

Already pre-ordered, so hyped for this game!

They would never make Nintendo Kart, since the Mario and Mario Kart names are so iconic and famous now they would just be destroying any chance of this game selling anywhere near as much as MK8DX if they go with the Nintendo Kart name. I also just want to see them focus on bringing in Mario characters who don’t have many appearances in the main series such as WarioWare characters.

I think we'll get new botw 2 footage, which will include the main new feature, (which they've been hiding), but I think we'll only get the title reveal in a direct early next year. I think they'll show the game at this event just because the game awards have a significantly larger audience watching compared to a regular direct.

I was really hoping that this game would get the same amount of love from Nintendo as Aces did. What a shame.

I got access to the beta so I've been playing since April, and I've been having a great time. I hope they continue to keep supporting this game for a while.

I still don’t get why they stopped supporting this game after less than a year, I would have loved getting new content beyond the 3.0 update.

I have a feeling that the hybrid feature will become a permanent thing with future Nintendo consoles, but I also think that they'll introduce some new gimmick to accompany it with the next system.

I literally just use it for all of the useful animal crossing functions. Obviously I call using discord though.

I don't think it's that fair to call devs of a less than great game lazy, I mean we really don't know that much about what is going on behind the scenes.

Wait so since April Nintendo basically pretended this game never existed, then updated it randomly 1 day and then will probably go back to pretending it never existed again. Makes sense.

You could theoretically dump all of your stuff on a second island, so it's safe. Then restart your island and you can just go and pick it all up again!

Next thing you know he'll be voicing Snoopy, then Mickey, and by 2030, he'll have voiced every animated character ever created.

I still don't understand why they didn't release a paid version without the gacha mechanics like Mario Run. Nintendo does some interesting things...

They have an opportunity to make Mario Party good again, and it seems they know it and are making a good Mario Party game.

I have both fighters passes, as well as all of the special mii costumes like cuphead as well as a few normal ones like geno (though he's still special) though I will probably get all of them later.
