I will be grabbing this when it hits a sale. Got so many games to get for Switch, in October alone!

Yep, I am adding funds to my Switch account for a big shopping spree at the end of the year for both the 3DS and WiiU. I really wish Nintendo would change their minds on this, or at least announce a storewide sale prior to closing the shops.

Going to grab some DS games and Devil's Third for WII U.

I am really looking forward to this one! Getting the physical version day one!

Not sure why this deemed as scary. This is a feature that most, if not all, online multiplayer/competitve games have. I know it can be volatile, but it can be turned off or modified.

This really seems to be an ego thing with this company. They know that Nintendo fans want more of their games on the Switch. For me, they either need to announce something, or just move on.

Yeah, I just can't see playing these versions of games. I will buy physical, download it, or play on another platform. I guess I am just an old man now, but I want to play my games from my devices, not worrying about connections. But to each their own, it just isn't for me.

In today's world, the last thing that Nintendo needs to do is expose these franchises to a tv audience. There would be so much hate levied if they don't tick all of the "correct" boxes, that it is not worth the headache. Nintendo needs to improve the Switch system and work on getting games released, not worrying about public outcry concerning possible issues with a tv show.

I am glad to see this is doing well! I bought the first game on 3DS last year and really enjoyed it. I am currently playing through this one and it is great!

I am trading my current Switch for the Oled model. I may get the Deck during tax time, depending on how it does when it releases. It looks like a cool piece of tech.

@The_New_Butler I have a gaming pc so I am aware of these things.
The issue with storage is, that it is limited, now matter which version you go with. A large SD card, 1TB for example, is 200.00. I have 8TB of storage on my pc. So, you will need multiple cards, solutions, at the ready for use with the Deck. This makes the system less portable.
You do have choice when it comes to settings, which may affect battery life, however, the battery is limited, so your choice is limited to a degree when you are travelling.
The Deck is lighter than a laptop, but is still big and there will be complaints that it is not portable enough. This is for gaming, not general use, like a laptop, so that is going to be an issue.
I bring up the dock because this is being compared to a device that comes with a dock, and the overall value is being brought up. If a dock is not necessary, then why make one?
I am not bagging on the system, I just think the comparison with Switch is pointless.
This device is not going after the same audience, it just looks similar. For a PC this thing is priced great, but for a handheld gaming device, the ideal model is above what main stream audiences will pay. Take care.

Steam Deck looks pretty cool, however, am I the only one that thinks the storage is a major problem with it? Not to mention, the battery life is going to be a problem. PC gamers arent known for their conservative settings for gaming, so I can see this being a two hour or less system on the go. Also, it is much bigger than the switch, which people already say isn't portable enough. Also, this is digital only system, period. Anyone with a Steam library will be doing a lot of shuffling games around, no matter which version they go with. Oh, and isn't is suspicious that they didn't announce the price of the dock? You know it is going to be 150.00 or more. These are issues that are going to cause big problems once the initial thrill of the power info wears off. I still may get one at some point, but not right away. Have a good weekend everyone!

For some weird reason, I can't seem to pre-order the special edition, after trying since the announcement. Strange.

I love Nintendo, and own most of the games listed, but they really should consider at least a 50% on games that are years old. Especially since they are digital games. Just an opinion.

I may end up buying this game. Just seems to be a nice niche game or a gem.

I actually bought the first two on Vita recently and have been working through them. I have 3 on Switch and will get this one soon. I have a feeling these games wont have a huge print run, so i want to get them while they are easy to find. I hope the review is right and the payoff is there.

Been trying to pre-order this, but it has never come in stock in the US. Hopefully it will soon. I want this for the collection.

I will pick this up when it goes on sale. I was interested during the showcase, but the price is a bit stiff. When it hits $10-15 I will pick it up. I recently picked up The Sinking City for that price point and it is really cool too. Take care everyone.

Well, I will decide on ordering when it gets much closer. I see no point in pre-ordering right now as it is projected to ship May 21. It is a shame too, I was looking forward to this, this year.

This is nice to see, but I don't think it will last. I buy most games physically, but I know where this will end up. Hopefully, these types things will keep physical games around that much longer. Cheers!

Yeah, I backed this on kickstarter for a physical Switch version, and I still haven't gotten it. I did use the Steam code they sent, but that version has terrible controls, so I uninstalled it. Hopefully I get my version in the mail soon. This will be the first and last Kickstarter venture for me. Smh.

Well, hell, I would play it.

I really dig the art style here. I saw on a youtube video that this will be $40-$50, which is a bit pricey but i may take the chance. Take care all.
