It's been a long, long, long, long time since any new Mii creation tools were introduced — we're all pretty much using the same technology from the Wii days — but Miitopia, of all things, might be about to change that.

See, it turns out that Nintendo aren't just re-releasing an old, weird 3DS game on Switch — they're also modernising it, and that includes new Mii tools. Specifically, that means two things: wigs, and makeup. It might not sound like a big deal, but if you know how creative people used to get with Miis back in the day, imagine what those same people can do with more power.

The Miitopia demo has been out for a scant few hours, but already, people are using the wigs and makeup to their advantage. Let's take a look at our favourites so far:
