One item that adds to Link's iconic look is the Hylian shield. It's been featured in The Legend of Zelda games for a very long time now, and in his latest outing, Breath of the Wild, it also shows up.
If you've ever wanted to own Link's shield yourself, you won't want to miss out on this latest offer from First 4 Figures. Pre-orders are now available from the F4F website - with an introductory offer of $109.99 USD instead of the usual $120.99 USD. And there's an estimated release date of Q1, 2022.
The hero of Hyrule, Link, has tons of weapons, armor sets, and shields at his disposal when exploring the vast kingdom of Hyrule, but one of his most iconic pieces of equipment in the entire The Legend of Zelda™ series is the Hylian Shield. The blue front with silver borders, the Triforce symbol, and Hyrule's crest are staples in its classic design, and this particular statue was inspired by the design from The Legend of Zelda™: Breath of the Wild.
As for the base it's mounted on, the Hylian Shield attaches magnetically to the display stand it comes with, which is simple by design but perfectly accentuates the shield itself. The Exclusive Edition of this statue comes with bright LED functionality beneath the gold rivet details of the stand, giving the shield an even more majestic look!
With the Exclusive Edition, you also receive First 4 Figures' beautifully designed signature Premium Deluxe Box that perfectly complements its contents and may serve as a display!
Product Size: Statue including base: Height – 11.5 inches (29cm), Width – 8 inches (20cm), Depth – 5 inches (13cm), Weight – 0.672 KG

I love the look but the price is beyond insane
Definitely a nice piece. A bit more than I can spend right now - I wish I'd known about it a month ago as it's perfect Christmas list material.
The size of the shield isn't bad. Price is a little high, but I've always heard good things about F4F pieces, so if I was more of a Zelda fan, I'd have gotten one.
I love how it looks, but the price is just, Nah, But it does look perfect for LOZ fans.
Looks pretty slick, but yeah that's a little expensive for me
If only the mirror shield got this kind of love 😂
this isnt for me, but it's cool if you all like it.
i feel like people that buy this kind of thing are either 15 yrs older or 15 years younger than me.
@Thwomp_Stomper
actually yeah if it were the mirror shield I'd be much more interested
That would be 8336.92 Indian Rupees, as I'm sure everyone was dying to know.
You're welcome.
NINJA APPROVED
You’re gonna need one of these

Looks amazing - but yeah, there's no way I could personally justify getting it at that price.
Wished they’d introduced the next Champion instead (waiting on Urbosa f4f!), but I will get this…I think (don’t really have space for it). Should have some points to knock the price down a bit. So glad for the pvc lines as I am totally out of space for another resin statue.
@-wc- I mean whichever 15 year old have this must be loaded in cash.
Not Nintendo branded so will be worth nothing later. The price is to high for what you get. Would love to have something like this as a huge huge huge Zelda fan and collector but I don’t buy from scalpers nor stuff that is over valued.
@Longondo good luck getting your money back. These will not be worth to much later on.
@Dirty0814 well being a few first4figure collector myself, I can say for sure these figurines prices soar into astronomical heights. Say the Phazon Suit Samus they released a few years back that only cost $200 on release, now you’d be lucky to find it for 2k.
halloween stores sold shields, bow and arrow and sword all for link.. good quality too and cheap
Looks really nice but over $100 for a small PVC shield! lol
@Longondo Not the PVCs they won’t
@Snow-Dust The PVCs rarely go up in price. Particularly the abundant Breath of the Wild range. The resin ones often do
@Dirty0814 The models are all official (Nintendo store even sells them). And the Nintendo Resin ones (Metroid, Majora’s Mask etc…) are now worth more than double they were sold for.
This is a mass market PVC, however. So it’ll likely not go up in price. But they don’t often go down. This is the fourth in the range
@Thwomp_Stomper seriously the mirror shield was always my favorite.
Though tbh tchotchke stuff like this kills me on the inside... i feel like the only purpose stuff like this serves is to fill the backgrounds of YouTube videos for game reviewers and stuff. Like, it’s exciting to get and open and look at and then what? It just collects dust for years as you continuously look for more bookshelf clutter?
:: end of rant::
To each their own i suppose.
Screw it, pre-ordered.
@aznable I'd say that is a large part of their target audience. Personally, I have a games room and like collecting things from my favourite franchises. I have no youtube channel, it is purely for my own enjoyment. And BOTW is easily my favourite game ever so I'm loving this.
Absolutely want one. Shipping puts me off but I’m still thinking it over. Looks beautiful like all their other statues
@nessisonett My head played the classic chest opening sound.
@Dringo good thing the Metroid ones are mostly all resin, I think Zero suit is the only one that is pvc and even then that one soared to 1-2k in recent years. Guess Metroid is just niche.
@themightyant hah, that’s what I want. A full size functioning LoZ chest with sound. I could keep all my game stuff there and it would be a joy to open.
These F4F figures etc always come to Europe & the UK eventually, normally on Zavvi. I'd wait until early-mid 2022, probaby be cheaper as well.
@Snow-Dust The Zelda ones are just made for retail, which is why those prices sometimes drop
Too much and too small, I'd rather buy a wearable prop
I want a life size shield made from steel. Let me know when that happens.
@Snow-Dust The PVC figures are made to be created in bulk and not be limited by edition size (with the exception of the F4F exclusive editions). They've constantly re-released batches of the Link BotW, Majora's Mask, etc. So the price of standard PVC will either stay the same or drop as retailers clear their stock in future years. F4F Resin figures are limited and never re-released, hence the price increase.
@koffing When you didn't know you NEEDED something!!!
Wanna go into business? How long before Nintendo lawyers up?
@Total_Weirdo I wanted this, but thanks for the heads up. I was thinking about hanging it on my wall and ***** lol
@Snow-Dust lol who said they were 15? 😊
however i will say, i had a job as a 15 year old but no real financial obligations yet, and i totally blew money on stuff back then. i think i was buying 6 or 7 cds a weekend at my peak record collecting phase. admittedly it was a privilege but its not like my family was or is well off.
@Kaine Never knew they do rereleases, the more you know, cheers.
@themightyant haha! I would but Nintendo’s lawyers would eat us alive. I am almost amazed they haven’t taken down fan and pro gaming sites for having the audacity to discuss Nintendo products and franchises. They really need to go study with the Lego company for how to have a healthy relationship with your fanbase.
I hope they make a model of Hylian Trousers next.
I would love to work with an actual blacksmith and create a functioning replica of the Hylian shield. Might as well do the Master Sword too.
Animegami for British shoppers can find these F4F items at sometimes half the price compared to the RRP when pre-ordering. 👍🏻
Just preordered the collector's edition of this for £62 and free postage compared to the $119 (when converted that comes to £89 and is before postage even) asked for on the official website.
@OldManHermit, I haven't checked them out in a couple years, but there used to be a series on YouTube called Man at Arms that featured blacksmiths recreating famous weapons from pop culture, and I believe they made both.
@RR529 Yeah! I remember that show. I recall them doing the master sword, but not the shield. Also Gut's sword from Berserk.
Oh look….another high priced dust collector.
And here I thought this would be a great gift for my son to run around with. Then I saw it wasn't a shield to pick up and play with... Pity
Not full size?
