Re: Miyamoto Doesn't Want To Make An MMORPG Because It Would Be Boring

@Syrek24 I probably don't have any business getting in this discussion, but that's not really the way I see it, to be honest.

I doubt @Yorumi hates Nintendo. Probably just annoyed with a lot of their decisions. Which is understandable. Usually, when I voice my own problems, I get labelled as a hater too, but I don't exactly hate Nintendo.

But seriously, it was pretty appalling to me the way Nintendo fans acted towards these guys. When they said no, you should have been able to understand. The game not coming to the platform does not make them lazy. Are you serious?

They put in the extra work to make the other two console versions in addition to the PC game and launched it simultaneously.

For the people who waited patiently or played other games in the meantime, I hope you'll appreciate and have fun with the Switch version.

For the others who are salty and can't get over it, have fun missing out. You don't really deserve it anyway.

@JaxonH At this point in time, even if Nintendo really wanted to jump back into the race, they'd no doubt lose. People have already established either Xbox or PS4 as their place for 3rd party games and as sad as it is to say, their exclusives alone won't drive everyone to their box.

But, I can't tell you how glad I am that Nintendo went with something simple this time. The ability to play games anywhere, anytime. There's still a lot that needs to be improved, but that one feature right there is a big one.

I probably would not have jumped back aboard with Nintendo had they went down another path like the Wii U. And the way I see it, I don't see Sony or Microsoft getting on this portability thing for years to come. So, I hope Nintendo can do this again next generation. (And improve as they go along)

@JaxonH The thing with Nintendo consoles though is that lack of power has directly affected games coming to the platform. It's not the only reason, but it's one of many.

It's understandable for the Switch not being as powerful since it was designed with portability in mind. But, the issue is still indeed there. As it was with the last two consoles.

Sure, there's the occasional fanboy that do put graphics above anything else. But, there's also the guy who just wants to be able to play the latest games.

And, if he wanted to do that, you have to redirect him to PS and Xbox.

Re: Ubisoft Will Not Release Rainbow Six Siege On The Nintendo Switch

@electrolite77 I think people should keep their expectations realistic and not assume anything can come to it because of DOOM and Wolfenstein 2.

That's why I don't really have a problem with older ports. Power is much less of an issue with those and there's plenty of fantastic games that I'm sure a lot of the Nintendo fanbase haven't gotten to experience.

Personally, the portability aspect is such a big thing for me that I'm even willing to get certain games on it over the other versions or repurchase games I already played.

Re: Diablo III Will Run At 60fps In Docked And Portable Mode On Nintendo Switch

@Cobalt It's completely understandable that if you play 99% docked, the Switch would be underwhelming to someone. The portable aspect is kind of a big selling point, and despite it getting a decent amount of third party support, it's still mostly a "Nintendo box". Just like the last few consoles.

I'm surprised Smash doesn't interest you though. That's a huge one. But yeah, it's good you have a PS4 with lots to hold you over. It'd be awful if it was your only console and you went long without anything to interest you. Those were dark days with the Wii U for me...
