Here's a little silly question: I'm not that big on SW, but I love Ubi games (I know, I know, I'm crazy, lol!). Is it enjoyable enough for a non fan of SW?
Last time I checked the compatibility list, it said Nier has "some start up issues" (iirc). But I have the game on cart and it worked great when I booted up. Some folks have said the game crashes after a while, but in short sessions, it's working great for me at the moment.
I'm quite fond of LttP, it was one of the first games I bought back when I had 12, I think. But the game cartridge died a sudden death and never managed to finish it until 2 years ago on the NSO service.
@Bret I totally get you. I played it since launch day on Switch in short bursts. One month later, I was almost at 100%, only some Achievements left from the Tides of the Foscari DLC. And now I read this, and that 100% seems far again! But indeed it is exciting, at the same time.
@Maxdokdok I know! I really, really liked the combat system in Hybrid Heaven. And yes, it was quite a shock for me too to be playing a "mature" game. I still remember the moment when the true protagonist's identity is revealed and I went "OMG!".
We have come a long way since then in videogames, but those memories are filled with pure magic!
I was inclined to phsyical before, but something weird happened during the PS4 era. Three disc games (HZD, GoW 2018 and The Order 1886) ceased to function without a visible reason (no scratches, never been outside of their boxes or outside the console). So, nowadays I prefer digital, because, at least that way I can get to finish the game I bought.
Now, digital games will be eternal, with all the licensing/digital stores issues? That's another matter...
Interesting comments, to be sure! Of course, there are relevant issues yet to address in the gaming community.
About the game itself, I added it to my wishlist (I liked that it seems to be a somewhat "easy" game) but reading about the performance issues, I will probably get it on XB.
I liked Ender Lilies very much, and I sure as hell would love to see a sequel or something maybe in the same universe, like a spin-off.
But I understand those who find its art style and rooms too "samey-samey" looking. Likewise, it is a very hard game, with some bosses who just seem supergifted LOL.
Nevertheless, it seems like it flew under the radar to some people, even if it was rated mostly good.
I recommend this one, even better if it's on sale.

@Ultra128 Hi there!

Re: Vampire Survivors Finally Comes To Switch This August With Couch Co-op
I loved it on Steam Deck.
I probably will double-dip on the Switch, but I am curious to see how it handles the hordes on the final minutes of every stage.
On the Steam Deck, the final minutes of every run had the fan running wild!
Re: Surprise! Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope - The Last Spark Hunter DLC Is Out Today
@ERGgamin Yeah!
I think it is "cool" to bash all things Ubi (and some deservedly so), but this one looks beautiful, plays great and, man, that music!
It is my "chill" game.
Can't wait for the Rayman DLC.
Re: Surprise! Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope - The Last Spark Hunter DLC Is Out Today

Loved those quirky N64 games back in the day, like Fighter's Destiny, Hybrid Heaven and Body Harvest. I would love to give this a read.
Re: OlliOlli World Is Getting A Physical Switch Release, Except It Isn't
@Royalblues Agree with you on that front.
I was inclined to phsyical before, but something weird happened during the PS4 era. Re: Nintendo Reveals The Next N64 Game For Its Switch Online + Expansion Pack Service
Glad to see this!
But this shuts down the Goldeneye rumour, I guess.
Re: Best James Bond Games On Nintendo Systems
@HammerGalladeBro No kidding? Wow! Where did you found those games?
I played GoldenEye 64 a lot back in the day. I played the PS3 remake, which it was good, and the Wii version sounds interesting.
BTW, greetings, I am also from Mexico

Re: Random: A No More Heroes Movie Directed By James Gunn? That's Suda51's Choice
I am a big fan of Suda51. A film of NMH doesn't sound so bad, to me at least.
BUT...I would love to see some a film of Killer7, another game by Suda51.
Man, I love that game!
