Puzzle Bobble games are some of my favorite puzzlers (even though their not too puzzle-y till later levels). Also, does anyone know what the chances may be of eventually getting Neo Bomberman on the e-shop?
I don't see anyone mentioning it, but the best part about this patch is that it gets rid of the screen tearing on Crystalis!! This alone makes me 100% happier with this collection.
I loved Slime-San, but only because I'm generally up for a platforming challenge. As for this... if it's too tough, I have a feeling I'm not gonna see much of it. Still, I'll probably buy it due to its unique approach.
Lists like this have a way of inducing anxiety, particularly when they include the sequels rather than the originals (even if the sequel is technically better). Seeing a "2" after a title makes me feel that I'm missing out on something.
@DrJiggle Thank you for that! Who IS that woman?! She's so out of place. My guess is that she was too late getting back to her arcade cabinet, and it got unplugged. She's gone "Turbo"!!
I'm definitely interested, but a bit confused. I've had this on my Amazon wish list since it was announced, and the date has always been Spring 2019 (or so I had thought). Still, they can take their time; my backlog still has some depth to it.
@SepticLemon Good news: Atari (whatever that means these days)is releasing the "Flashback Collection" for Switch. This collection will have150 arcade and console games. Bad news: No "Battlezone"
Please be Nanostray 3 (HD 2D shmup for Switch) or a new Jett Rocket! The latter has so much potential, and I would love to see what they could do without the file limitations of the Wii.
There is no scale on which to properly rate and rank my excitement. I'm also looking forward to finding out which classic property they'll borrow gameplay from this time, even if only for one brief level ("Space Harrier" in Bayo 1 and Starfox in 2).
I would love for M2 to do all of the Thunder Force games, Musha, Truxton, and a few others that escape me right now. The Switch is the first console that I've really been able to put in the time to improve my shoot-em-up skills, and I would love to further master all of the abovementioned games.
I'm actually excited about a slower-paced platformer. I'm getting old, and my hands get sore after too much twitchy gameplay (and I honestly don't think it's because of the Switch's controller; I notice it on my Genesis as well, and I love the 6-button there)
I love Custom Robo on N64! I could never get too far into the story due to translation hurdles, but I still play vs. mode with friends. As such, I'm fine with this being strictly a one-on-one competitive shooter.
I understand the analog trigger concerns, but sucky video game drivers--such as myself-- just mash full-throttle anyway. Heck, I even drive my car that way!
@Magician I'm actually kind of sad to hear about this physical release because I was hoping for the eventual Ikaruga/Radiant Silvergun/Bangai-O combo pack. Still, I will be picking this up day one.
@Mr_Horizon You're right; it was much slower. I think it's the design of the shimmer of some of the balls in the above trailer that made me think of mercury. Also, I'm quicker to bring up MMR as I was much better at it than I was at Banana Blitz (though I can admit that SMB 1 and 2 were the superior games to all of the abovementioned).
I am so excited about this game! If it goes well, I'd also like to see a new Custom Robo game; maybe something that would combine 8th gen Pokémon with the fighting engine of ARMS... (apologies to those who hate ARMS)
@Dualmask Try looking up the E3 Treehouse coverage for this game. There's a bit more gameplay there (though I suspect it's more of a tutorial/demo mode, but it should give you a better sense of pacing and the like). All said, I am super excited for this game!
Sorry, just noticed that Ballistic90 replied the exact same thing...
If there is any improvement from the first, I will absolutely be getting this! I'm happy that there are some third parties are coming back after their initial "testing the waters" phase.
@Agramonte How might you criticize the photographers who have chosen to produce black and white prints long after the invention of color film? What about Lomography? As for "traditional" artists, I guarantee there are many works that use crayons, finger paint, macaroni, etc. Going back isn't always regression...
Seeing 90's Super GP on this list is encouraging, but I'm afraid I've lost all hope of it ever coming out. Please, Nicalis; let us know what's going on!

@SKTTR Odd... just five minutes ago I was still unable to find it on the US eshop... I wonder what the deal is? (and if I remember correctly, this happened with the first Gunbird as well)
More shmups are always welcome. It seems that this is the first console to go all in with releasing shmups in the west (in the past it seems like they were always being held as import fodder).
On a somewhat related note: what happened to Gunbird 2 on the US eshop? It has a release date of 6/21 but is listed as "unavailable."
How on earth have half of the people in this comment section forgotten that Arcade Archives are ALWAYS 7.99 (US)? Also, as a few have noted, this version has been ever elusive with only the DK64 mini-game coming close to offering the same experience (but the levels still didn't follow the original arcade progression). Though some of Hamster's releases have not been worth the $8, Donkey Kong absolutely is!
Also, as with many of you, I would be so excited to see a physical compilation that includes Ikaruga, Bangai-O, and Radiant Silvergun. Please Nicalis (or anyone for that matter), make this happen!!
@Bass_X0 It's kind of funny you should say that because I was thinking he sounded a lot like Nintendo and their reasons/excuses for not developing a new F-Zero game (i.e. not knowing how they can make a 'new' experience with the F-Zero branding).
I really want to get Little Nightmares on a cart, but as with Namco Museum and Naruto UNS trilogy, Bandai Namco refuses to release anything physically for Switch.
I loved this game for the most part. It just felt like it went on a bit longer than it had to (boss gauntlet was kind of a slog as well). Still, it was good enough that I got Okamiden (enjoyable for a single play as well) on day 1. If a physical release comes to Switch, I will definitely consider it.

@timson72 Just looked... $125 for the entire module. Ouch! Still, I would if I could.
Re: This Wireless Nintendo 64 "Pro-Style" Controller Is Hitting Stores Early Next Year
@holygeez03 I tried it a couple of times, but I defaulted to the even less popular setup-- D-pad for movement/strafing, analog stick for aiming.

Re: Marble It Up Wants To Be The "Roll-Playing Game" Of The Year On Switch
Maybe there will be some marble designs that will place a character in the ball... maybe... a monkey?!
Also, it reminds me of the fun I had with Mercury Meltdown Revolution on Wii (though I wasn't a huge fan of SMB: Banana Blitz)
