Shin'en Multimedia, the developer behind Nintendo Switch launch title Fast RMX, has teased an upcoming announcement for the console.
As the studio mentions in the tweet below, we haven't really heard much from Shin'en since Fast RMX zoomed onto our portable screens early last year. It would appear that the team has been just as busy as ever, however, as something is certainly going on under the hood.
Of course, it's impossible for us to know what this announcement will be exactly, but the wording certainly suggests that we'll get a first taste of a new game tomorrow. Fans have already started to share their wildest dreams, with some going as far as to suggest that Nintendo may have given Shin'en the licence to F-Zero (we'd certainly be up for that), but we'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out.
Perhaps a more realistic bet would be a new 'Nano' game - like Nano Assault Neo or Nanostray, or even a new platforming adventure from the Jett Rocket universe? Whatever it might be, make sure to share your crazy predictions in the comments below.

Exciting, these guys are great!
Yesss! Get in there! I've been wondering what these guys were up to. Don't expect it to be anything like FAST RMX though. Not long after the Switch launch they said they were working on a new game, then later said it would be something different to what they've done before.
This is what they said back in September when asked about their next game,
“It’s quite different to anything we have done before. Stay tuned!”

I don't think they're doing anything related to Fast Racing. Maybe we're getting a sequel to another one of their games. I wouldn't be surprised if it's something entirely new tho.
I'd like to see something completely different and fresh from them, to be honest. I like their games that I've played but there's yet to be one that I've truly loved. I think there's certainly potential for me to really love one of their games though. They seem like talented devs who know how to get the most out of a piece of hardware.
My hope is that they've hired a game designer equal to their visual abilities. There is no question they make some of the best looking indie games in existence. I've bought most of them.
However, the game design, track design, and level design always leaves me wanting.
I'm excited to hear what they are doing next, and would love to hear they did something with Nintendo, because I know it would be a perfect combo of visuals and mechanics.
Is that "Star Fox racing" rumour still in fashion? XD
I would love a new Nano game. One of my most played on 3ds.
A retail version available to anyone on normal stores. That's what I wish.
I wouldn't be against more DLC tracks for RMX. A new Nano Assault would also be really cool!
People shouldn't be expecting F-Zero though... That's the kind of thing that gets revealed by Nintendo at E3. Not by an indie company on a random day.
Mother 3!!!!1
I'm hoping for the natural sequel to Fast RMX.
SLOW RMX
I predict it will be a 3D platformer but not a new Jett Rocket, something different, more ambitious. Perhaps they've even had some help from Nintendo too?
Faster RMX...with Guns! Deluxe is coming
If it's inside a Direct, I would be screaming inside the Hype train
Nintendo should just give these guys some money and supervision to make a new F-Zero.
@Frendo A new XtremeG!?!? I’d die. That hurt to read my friend. I LOVED that game.
Awesome. One of my Fav launch titles. Especially after RedOut vanished. They kept supporting it - great team.
Super excited see what comes next! they a keeper on Switch.
This is really exciting, but obviously this won't be Nintendo IP related whatever it is - that would be something announced during a Direct. But am eager to find out what it is they are teasing
Giving these guys the keys to F-Zero would be a brilliant move, but it's hard to imagine that's the case with Mario Kart already on the console and those Star Fox Racing shenanigans in the works. I just can't imagine that Nintendo wants three first-party racing games on one console.
But man, I'd love to be wrong.
Superfantastisch!
@cyrus_zuo Honetsly I hate these terms, "indie" and "triple a" mainly because many of the "indie" titles have way more content and heart than the majority of "triple a" titles do now which is sad that these big companies no longer have any integrity.
It's the Art of Balance port for Switch.
Anyone expecting some huge megaton... Come on... Why do you do this to yourselves?
This is still one of my favorite games on the Switch! I think them making the next F-Zero is a bit of a stretch to assume.. but I would personally love it Same with Ubisoft and the StarLink team making the next Star Fox! If Nintendo wont make them, let's allow talented and proven developers to give it a try!
Art of Balance for Switch would be great... but only if it's a new version... the WiiU game was fun, but had some issues and is quite stale now... surely a simple port would not have taken this long?
I'm hoping it's a collection of the Nano game or a new game in the Nano series. A complete physical edition of Fast RMX would be nice too. I'm the kind who would double dip if there's one.
Please please please please be an anti-grav racing SIM. Customization, upgrades, oooooooo please!
@Gen0neD Xtreme G 3 on the Gamecube was INCREDIBLE!!!!
Omg please F-ZERO!!! ... Ninty have done nothing with it for like 15 years lol
Another Jett Rocket would be good.
PIKMIN 4!
Please be Nanostray 3 (HD 2D shmup for Switch) or a new Jett Rocket! The latter has so much potential, and I would love to see what they could do without the file limitations of the Wii.
Nintendo should give them an F-Zero game to make. And give Ubisoft a Star Fox game while we're at it
The only one of their games I've played is Nano Assault EX, which is a fun game and has possibly the best graphics I've seen on the 3DS. Looking forward to seeing what else they have up their sleeves
I totally forgot about exteme G! That game was awesome.
but they can definitely do a FZero i would love that.
I'd love a new nanostray game, or even an HD nanostray collection, but I'll take anything these fine folks are offering.
Aw man, I was hoping I'd come in here and hear that Nintendo was smart enough to finally hand the F-Zero reins to Shin'en
Nintendo... You've made a good killing off of the Switch. It's time to cash in on this series. I don't care if AV has to rise from the grave to continue the series at this point. Just... DO IT!
Don't tease me NintendoLife.
I hope they're NOT making the next F-Zero game.
I love F-Zero but was very disappointed with their FAST games on Wii and Wii U. They look beautiful, but the control and level design is not to my liking. Also, the polarity concept was neat in theory but not a lot of fun to play.
Whatever they're working on, I'm already excited about the graphics! These are talented programmers!
I desire another Nano Assault title. It has been a while since a new game in the series was released.
Yay! I hope it isn't RMX 2 because I just feel like the game is still new. Hope to see new free DLC or something.
Give F-Zero to the GX team ....
Fast was good but not F-Zero levels of amazing
Getting vibes of a Nintendo franchise announcement...
Fast Racing Neo/RMX was awesome, so I'm looking forward to seeing what's next.
I think they could be trusted with F-Zero, Nintendo should give them the key...
I guess until it's announced, you'll just have to call me "Shin'en The Wonder-er".
Let them make F-Zero already. Please.
They have gotten the licence to WipEout 64 and done a conversion for the Switch?
Seriously, though, I hope it's a remake of "Looney Tunes: Space Race" for the Dreamcast.
Anybody expecting them to make an F-Zero game is just setting themselves up for disappointment. It'd be cool, but I doubt it's happening.
If it's a new Nano game I'll be totally pumped. A new IP would be cool too. I'd be equal parts surprised and disappointed if it's F-Zero. They're a good developer, but just because Fast RMX is a good game doesn't mean it's a good idea for Nintendo to shunt a similar franchise to them.
Honestly, I'm not sure we'll ever see another F-Zero from Nintendo. They might shop it out to a second or third party, or drop a mobile title, but I think they've been riding the success and brand recognition of Mario Kart forever now on their consoles. I really think their stance is: What does F-Zero add to the market that isn't covered by Mario Kart, which basically prints money?
I hope for a F-Zero game.
Or re-release of Jett Rocket for Switch, since we can't get it anymore on Wii.
F zero please!!!!
They said it's like nothing they've done before. So...
Feast RMX - A futuristic cooking arcade game!
Fist RMX - A futuristic beat'em up!
Fest RMX - A futuristic... carnival party game?
Wonder how well this team knows how to handle fighting or horror games 😁
Slow RMX Please. I feel the need... the need for a nice Sunday drive
Ah - just seen someone beat me to this. Never mind.
News are coming 😂😂😂
Fast BMX
Fast MSX
It could be cool if they did a Snowboarding game.
They have been helping port Carnival games!
A new F Zero would be amazing. Just can't see it happening though. They said a while back they were working on something different to Fast RMX so it could be Art Of Balance 2 or a new Nano game. Perhaps some new ip from them....
A new F-Zero would be awesome 🤑
Nanostray or iridion 3 ?
Please let it be F-Zero, even if just a remake of AX/GX.
If there's anyone who's going to push the Switch's limits, its these guys.
But basically, Fast RMX is the new F-Zero.
These guys made extreme g?
F Zero please.
@fafonio Amusement Vision made GX. They were owned by Sega and shut down 14 years ago.
Hum, this is "fun"... The same day...hummmmm :
https://twitter.com/remedygames/status/1045000044137443328/photo/1
@Zeta hand it to sega or namco and assemble the team!
Please be F-Zero. Even a remake of F-Zero 64, complete with track editor, would be enough until an all new F-Zero.
Oh boy!
Looking forward to more of their special brand of clean stylish stuff.
Super Fast RMX Morpheus.
Crosses fingers hoping its a new F-Zero Game
It's been 15 years since the last F-Zero game and after that 2011 snow, h games interview the creator of F-Zero Shigeru Miyamoto when he was surprised when he was asked that question. Even though out of all the missing in action nintendo Ips nintendo fans want a new F-Zero Game more then anything else. When he said he had no new ideas for a new F-Zero game and he did a suprised laughter response when the question was asked it made me little mad but mostly annoyed that was the reason or imho a excuse to the point where I emailed Nintendo ideas and told them to show the email to Miyamoto himself for 3 new F-Zero games like ideas for new character/racers & machines. For example a ninja Prince named Shinobira Ninjatora and his F-zero machine the Noble Ninjato that is the shape of a blue and black katana/ninjato grip with a sapphire blade from a planet called Ninjatora or a new track on a planet called Riverina (WaterFall Wrath Way) which takes place on a track with a zig zag River, many water falls where you can go though or jump down from and all machines will create water booster tails when hovering over the water. Those two are from hundreds of ideas I created for nintendo to create more games. The ideas are there for Nintendo now they need to make them into reality.
Also Captain Falcon popularity has skyrocketed more since then thanks to smash Bros plus the last game F-Zero GX sold more then 1.2 million copies worldwide and over 200,000 copies in the North America qualifying it for players choice, Nintendo's equivalent of Sony's PlayStation classics back when it released in 2003 so it wasn't a commercial failure as suggested by other Nintendo fans or just people who dislike F-Zero or Captain Falcon in general with no factual evidence to back up their claims & argument. Not to mention the graphics and soundtrack of GX were amazing for its time and it aged extremely well over the years just like Resident Evil 4 on the GameCube and I go back and play both 4 to 8 times a month. Here's hoping for the best for Shi'en announcement tomorrow since Nintendo is sitting on a gold mine that is Captain Falcon!!!!
@Jokerwolf the difference between Indies and AAA is on budget and not on quality. Everyone that says screw Indies I just want the real deal are people that only care about nice graphics...
@Cobalt I would love a max payne collection dude!
I don't believe we ever get a new F-Zero game. It will not sell. And I believe if Metroid Prime 4 will fail, then that is last Metroid game we'll see. Small minority want these games, but don't want to buy them.
But I am very interested of what they announce.
It's Art of Balance. How exciting
@fafonio What about Sumo? They make good racing games.
@Justifier Captain Falcon popularity has skyrocketed more since then thanks to smash Bros plus the last game F-Zero GX sold more then 1.2 million copies worldwide and over 200,000 copies in the North America qualifying it for players choice, Nintendo's equivalent of Sony's PlayStation classics back when it released in 2003 so it wasn't a commercial failure as suggested by other Nintendo fans or just people who dislike F-Zero or Captain Falcon in general with no factual evidence to back up their claims & argument.
