I have all the units mentioned including 4 Super GameBoy (Pal, US, Japanese and SGB2).

@Rohanrocks88 Yoshi's Safari was amazingly good fun. I always enjoy challenging myself by using the ScoreMaster arcade stick and use my feet to be player 2.

@Azuris that was more of an issue of the GBC only games like Alpha not having a Super GameBoy type device when it came out. Was only when the GameBoy Player came out could you play those type of games on a TV.

Hate to say it but I'm more collector that player these days. Almost every game has been put into a console apart from a few select I never want to play (Metal Gear Survive, We Dare, Animal Crossing Amibo Festival). But I never really get time to fully play a game anymore.

@Azuris yeah Alpha one is so weak even the GameBoy Color could run it. ;P

Nope, got it on PS4 at launch. If they did a physical release I might of picked the Switch version up (infact had a pre-order until it was announced as digital only)

That looks more like the Sony Vaio UX range of micro computers than a Switch. I used to love that little handheld.

@Rosona good. The good thing is that any event skins you've missed you can still acquire. You just need to spend time clocking up coins during the daily tasks.

Still have my original Pal Super GameBoy from it''s launch. With box and manual.

Since then I have picked up US, Japanese and Super GameBoy 2 versions. I also have the Hori SGB controller.

@Moroboshi876 it was Samurai Showdown 2 for NGPC which was a pre-order bonus for Samurai Showdown/Spirits on Switch.

I would be tempted to get Gal Fighters on Switch if I didn't already have the NGPC original.

I've already got pre-orders for the "Classic Editions" PS4 and Switch versions. If I was to go for this I would only upgrade one of my orders.

I do feel that the price is a little too high. But I am so tempted.

I've had Amiiqo since it first came out. Infact I actually have 3 of them.
I've always used it instead of unboxing my figures and cards.
It's great knowing I can have my complete Amiibo collection in my pocket and not need to worry about carrying a massive number of figures with Smash data on them.

Shame it's a good game. I'm just glad I got the physical version.

@Tim_Vreeland yeah that is the piece of trash. Yeah I'll stick to my 8bitdo sticks and either the Hori charge stand or the official Switch portable stand.

Haven't we seen this a while back. I'm sure that MadLittle Pixels reviewed it. He felt it wasn't great.

Personally I have 2 of the 8bitdo sticks and love them for fighters on my Switch.

I picked this up from Japan when it came out over there. I really enjoyed it. Had a very Onichanbara feel.

But yes a few patches would help.

So like the Smash and Let's Go bits that Nintendo Japan will be selling the dock and Joycons on their own. Yes I will buy.

Damn, Oh well wait for the next restock. Shame Nintendo allow people to buy upto 4 and you can buy them even if on the free trial.

The US variant is the only one I don't have yet.

But I do agree with people who say get an SN30 (Pro is better option as it has sticks, all the buttons and gyros for a Switch) from 8BitDo.

I have physical Japanese copies of both the PS4 and Switch versions. I really need to spend more time playing this.

If the game has benefits to buying on PS4/Xbox over Switch then I'll most likely get home and Switch versions. The only time I don't by the Switch release will be if it's either digital only or the game itself suffers from being put onto the Switch.

I got the PS4 special edition at launch from Amazon JP and then also got the Switch standard version when that came out.

@nab1 yes I do. I got it with the Box boy game, but I have a Japanese 3DS (well 4) to play it on.

I have all the Amiibos released. The figures, including the US and Japanese only ones. I kept away from collecting the cards.

All mine are still boxed and I don't use them. Instead I use N2Elites for data as it means I can carry them all with me when out and about.

This has been for sale in Japan since last year. I picked up the complete set so I could have all the games.

The Japanese version also came with a great little metal ship.

Time to queue up again.

Just to correct the games list. The one for Genesis is the same as EU MegaDrive. The only difference should be that the Contra is Probotector and a couple other small differences. But the "same" games.

Play-Asia and Base have had these for Pre-order around December and April respectively.

I asked Yacht Club Games back then and they no back then. But hey things change.

@Bunkerneath @sanderev the Dual USB PlayStand looks like the previous Hori folding dock and the Nintendo Official portable charge stand had a baby.

This just a smaller version of their previous one. So it will only charge a Switch and not provide video out. Which is fine with me.

I already have both the other charge syands and they are great when out an about. But I do prefer the Hori one as it has 4 USB ports to power accessories or testing Donkey Konga Bongos with Taiko Drum on the #LegenedaryStairs.

Strictly Limited were offering this a physical release also with a Collector's edition. So yeah had to grab that. I can wait for it to turn up in September.

Grabbed this last night when it was made available for club members.

Not gonna break the collecting now.

I've already got the Asian "versions" of these. Different games are on each release, but the collection still totals up to the same.

@DividesBy_0 cheers, I've tried one like that in the past that a friend had but the Joycon rails were still to low.

This could be a redesign that works.

Well we all knew it was coming. I was expecting it to be a year after the NES and Famicom games (So about right).

I just hope they don't build the SNES controllers using the Switch rails to charge them, I've got both the NES and Famicom pads (which I love) but they can only be charged on a Switch. No other Joycon dock can charge them.

I would of preferred a Luigi green set instead. Glow in the dark would be even better.

@Ryu_Niiyama I imported the US Splatoon Neon controllers so that I could get both versions of pink and green.

One of the high points of my archive is a complete 64DD collection. Infact I still have a PAL and Japanese N64 connected to my downstairs TV. The 64DD is always attached the Japanese N64.

I also have a boxed copy of Morita Shogi 64.

@Asaki @Majora101 If you are looking at using a ROM of an orignal GB game on a DS/Lite. Look at the EZ Flash Omega. It is cheap and Flash card and can emulate GB games on it. It can emulate them with a SGB boarder etc.

@BacklogBlues I've had it on the other consoles since launch. The launch was ruff. But massive improvements have been made. Just a shame that very few people now play it.

@Magician there is a single player campaign which was released last year. But tbh not had time to play it. Time at home is limited so the Switch version improves stuff as the portability.

@Timsworld2 I'm 70 million years old and have impregnated millions of beings over that time. With the creation of billions of offsprings. None of them are good enough to play with the Mario Kart Hotwheels. I will have to travel throughout the universes and time to eradicate all of them.

I've had the PS4 physical version since Monday. So far I've not suffered the patch issues. (But the 1.02 patch is paused on my console). But looking what they are saying it's gonna be start another save file

@Lemmy_the_Koopa Sounds like they're not gonna patch it or fix the issues. Just recommend people restart. But they give a chance to correct what you messed up on your first play through...

@Abes3 first batch of "free DLC". it adds a BossRush mode and a couple of small updates.

@Dethmunk yep, but they won't have pre-orders yet. They just take your money then grab the game as soon as they can.

Another example of put "limited" on something and the rats come running.
