Who cares? This game is old as dirt...And why is it always a big talking point that this modern console can run a really old game?

It's funny to say it looks good in one sentence, and then say the performance is horrible in the next! I get it, thats where we're at with all this nonsense. But does anybody even know what they are actually saying anymore?! How can it look good if it performs bad? Can they just sell me some still pictures of the game for $10, cuz I dont want to see it in motion!

Took a chance on Splatoon Raiders. Never played a Splatoon game. Can't put this thing down. The best Switch 2 game, period. Wow. It would be the best Switch 2 game by a mile if Bonanza didnt exist. It feels nice to have found a while new Nintendo IP to enjoy! This game has that Nintendo magic sprinkled all over it. An All Timer, 10/10.

I played through Oxenfree. I thought, "Hmmmm, idk if I liked that. Maybe I did?" I just started a 2nd playthrough, so.... yes?

5 PRIME 1 (THE ONLY PRIME IVE LIKED, SLI K BEAUTIFUL GAME)
THe margin separating the top 4 are very thin...Just absolute masterpieces and my favorite game series of all time.

Please, PLEASE do not do a light world dark world thing. I do not like Prime 2...

I love RPGS. I'm tired of every RPG having this fantasy anime art mish mash trope as its foundation. There are an infinite amount of different style one could do with these games, but its almost always samey. I guess thats why I'm playing through Earthbound and Expedition 33 right now....which might almost be my 2 favorite RPGs....I'm not even gonna watch the trailer, I already know its an Anime Fest...and yes I know its an SRPG, whatever...they have the exact same issue as RPGs...

3D Metroid is not that great. 2D Metroid is legendary. I dare someone to say 3D Metroid is better than 2D. And as always, I say it as much as I can, METROID DREAD IS THE GREATEST 2D GAME OF ALL TIME. PERIOD. Mario? Nope. Castlevania? Nope. Mega Man? Sorry. And I am a super fan of each franchise. Adventure Island is close, though....Master Higgins! Where Are You?!

Only interested in 1 thing on this page of lovely items....Truxton Extreme! Might go with the Thunder Master....You know why shmups are so great? They are a reasonable length! I have lots to do, can't play it all, but I can play a bunch of shmups! No game should be over 8 hours long. I would PAY for the convenience of an 8 hour RPG....

I think yall out of possible remakes....time for Resident Evil Gaiden! That would be so awesome....

The Starfox game is not new

I honestly don't care about it. I dont play any of these games on the Switch 2 because it is a terrible handheld. I have better emulators with every game and more systems, that are also better ergonomically, better screen, even (blasphemy...)a better d pad and buttons! I would pay the price just for the Nintendo Music alone. Very cheap, amazing value. PS No type of multi-player or save options should be pay walled. That's sleazy.

It will be too complicated for me to stay interested. But the fact that it is a new Castlevania, it will be day one. If they made simpler games, they could do one a year, instead of one per decade. But noone would have the guts to in this climate. I hope this one hooks me...

Remakes are fine, but not while there are simultaneously no new games (okay, Splatoon Raiders...) in first 5 years of NES we get SMB, MEGAMAN, CASTLEVANIA, DRAGON QUEST, FINAL FANTASY, ZELDA, the list goes on....its such a cookies cutter world now....

This debate is beyond tiresome.

I say it all the time; Metroid Dread is the Greatest 2d game of All Time. Almost unfathomable, better than any Mario, Castlevania, Mega Man, or Metroid that ever came before, which are probably runners up (Super Meteoid, Zero and Fusion are SO GOOD its unreal...). If they make anything approaching that level again. It will undoubtedly be an additional masterpiece.

I've been dogging Nintendo on here since the Switch 2 launch. Nintendo is magic, though. As soon as they release a sequel to the best 2d platformers of all time, my Switch will flip and all is forgiven!

If they do it right, OLED with nice buttons, form factor and plenty of horsepower, they will eat Nintendos lunch. The popularity of Switch is largely tied to portability. Switch 1 had (has) an incredible library as well, the Switch 2 does not. The time draws near...

Switch 2 is a paper weight right now. Let me know when a creative original Nintendo AAA title releases, not looking like anytime soon....so many older games I've never played to choose from that Switch 2 is going to have to REALLY put in some effort to get any money out of me....

Why even mess with putting the code in a box? Just sell it digitally. Can anyone tell me any benefit there is to selling a code in a box? I see the GKC, theoretically retaining its value as a "physical key", but Cofe in a Box seems absolutely pointless.

I am a huge Zelda fan. This game is so overrated. Definitely at the bottom of my list. Nintendo is saving me so much money....except for the $1000 I spent for the 2 Switch 2s I bought at launch and still an abyssmal library of games. Wii U tU....

Like, why? Why are there always these games we have to play w release dates? It is a freaking 2d platformer. Unless it is a revolution in this genre (which it is not, 2d platformer has changed very little in the last 20, even 30 years) why would a one year only console have ANY ISSUE RUNNING THIS GAME?!?!?!?!

Wow, the mighty Sega Master System gets a little love! What an underrated system. It's games are so colorful and fun, and has some amazing games. I am actually playing thru Phantasy Star on my SMS as we speak. Even though I can play any Master System game on my Genesis, my original SMS will ALWAYS be hooked up and ready to rock!

Hopefully they can make it good, cuz I hate this game! I actually dislike any RE game w tank controls...

I don't see what yall are talking about, I think this looks super! But there must be something, because most of you are saying the art is off...I don't see it. I am shocked that they restarted. This presentation was my wishlist though; new mainline and a new monsters game! Now I just hope they actually get released...I kinda wish noone would "announce" anything. Just drop it when its actually a game!

It amazes me that 30 to 40(50?) year old hardware and games cannot be replicated 100%. There is ALWAYS something wrong. Still cannot make a good d pad. The original NES d pad is the best, but its the oldest. How? I have been playing original carts on original consoles straight into a CRT TV all weekend, and there is no substitution.

Wow, a lot of negative thoughts on Elliott! I thought the 1st demo was possible tge most beautiful top down game I have ever played. This, Mina and Dark Scrolls are the only games on my radar as of right now...

Looks comfy, hate the d pad, hate the logo blaring on the front, hate that they don't charge until switch is on. Why did Nintendo make the Joycon 2 so FREAKING FLAT? After they ALREADY made the same mistake with the Switch? Baffling!
