Why is it $17.99?! If this was the NAMCO version, I'd understand, but this is the ***C A P C O M*** version! What does CAPCOM have that makes its Picross worth seven more dollars than the Namco Picross?!
@Erigen Nintendo published an infographic today stating that 84% of Switch 2 owners were upgrading from the original Switch. Only 16% of the 10 million units sold as of September 30th were purchased by people who ***didn't*** own the original Switch.
@MatoFilipovic Clearly, enough people are interested in these old games that Digital Eclipse not only keeps adding content to Atari 50, but also putting out FIVE further Interactive Documentary games (the latest of which having come out six days ago), plus a more "traditional" Golden Tee collection.
@Banjo- I haven't experienced any offline latency in the Switch version of Cowabunga Collection.
Then again, I don't really buy Konami games at launch EVER, so it must've been fixed after the fact. I know that the Japanese version ROMs were post-launch additions.
@Moroboshi876 The Switch 2 physical costs more than the Switch 1 physical because Atari has to pay $16 apiece to get the game on actual Switch 2 game cards.
The only size available is 64 GB. Having to pay $16 per cart would screw with Atari's profit margins big time; This is why the Switch 2 physical version of Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection costs $10 more than every other version's hard copy.
The Pros and Cons list is nearly identical the review on your sister site “Push Square”, so WHYYYY are you docking extra points from the Switch 2 version (you ultimately gave it a 7) over the SAME online play issues the PS5 version (which was given a 9) has??? Because as you’ve pointed out, the offline content and emulation quality is otherwise flawless?
Besides, it’s not like the issues will persist forever
Wait; why are people buying RETRO GAME SETS specifically for ONLINE anyway???
I'm honestly shocked that you're not doing reviews of the Switch 1 versions of Namco's "Switch 2 Edition" releases. Literally nobody else reviews the Switch 1 versions of any multiplatform game except for this very website. (Also it would be nice if the "leave a comment" box was placed above the whole column of comments and stuff)
@pikachupikachup Sega is refusing to offer upgrades for Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 or Sonic x Shadow Generations, so I wouldn't hold out hope for Raidou if I were you.
The SxSG situation especially burns because I PRE-ORDERED the Digital Deluxe version.
Sega knowingly sold an inferior product to Sonic's primary audience, one that was fated to become completely obsolete by June.
If they're making it so that only Platinum Points exist, they should rename them to simply "Points", because... well... only one type exists now. No need for the discriminant in the name because there's nothing to confuse it for!
@SuperBro64 What's changed is that CTGP-DX no longer functions.
That's it. That's the modus operandi for today's patch. They saw CTGP as a threat to the BCP's sales so they hit the "create ancillary mod incompatibilities" button.

Re: Review: Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection (Switch 2) - A Killer Kompilation, But Online Is A Mess At Launch
@Moroboshi876 they actually cost the SAME digitally.
Switch 2 physical only costs $60 because the cost of making it a REAL game card would eat into Atari’s profit margins if sold at $50.
Just be glad it’s NOT a Key Card.

@BrazillianCara There's "Tetris & Dr. Mario", Yoshi's Cookie, Wario's Woods, Tetris 2, and more Satellaview games than you can shake a stick at

Still waiting.

Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Library With Another Classic
@dustinprewitt They believe that dragging it on for as long as possible is an optimal way to retain subscribers.
Re: Atari 50 Game List - Every Playable Game In The Anniversary Celebration, Expanded Edition
That's not 148 games, that's **153** games!
Don't exclude the unlockables from the total.
Re: Switch Online's "Mature" N64 App Expands With Two More Games
SHADOW MAN WON'T EVEN LET ME SAVE THE GAME BECAUSE THEY NEVER ADDED A VIRTUAL CONTROLLER PAK TO THE N64 APPS
Re: Best Nintendo Switch Micro SD Cards - Cheapest Memory Cards In 2024
I'd say that everyone's best bet right now is Samsung's 1TB EVO Select.
Re: Switch Online's "Mature" N64 App Expands With Two More Games
@Lizuka Castlevania 64 (and the do-over "Legacy of Darkness") was rated T. if it ever comes to NSO, it would be in the standard N64 app.
But it won't come to NSO.
Because Konami is Konami, and Konami is the worst.
Re: Mini Review: Atari 50: The Wider World Of Atari (Switch) - More Of The Brilliant Same
@Atariboy They added the December 2023 update's **2600** games to the "Wider World of Atari" timeline.
Still haven't found Warbirds.
Re: Mini Review: Atari 50: The Wider World Of Atari (Switch) - More Of The Brilliant Same
@IceClimbersMain "the free update games from last year all got timeline entries"
I'm not seeing Warbirds Lynx in there.
Re: Mini Review: Atari 50: The Wider World Of Atari (Switch) - More Of The Brilliant Same
@InJeffable DLC 1 is only eight bucks.
That "$13.99" you're looking at is the SEASON PASS.

Re: Atooi's Switch Game 'Hatch Tales' Has Been Delayed (Again)
Run Box Run came out in the interim and literally NOBODY plays it.
Online-Only, $5, No Bot play mode.
Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 18.0.0 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
18.0.0 is constantly causing my Switch to lose Wi-Fi connection.
Last time a system update screwed with that was in June 2021 I think.
Re: Five More Classic Rareware Games Come To Nintendo Switch Online Today
@Aurumonado I was hoping for more Genesis games for NSO
Re: Five More Classic Rareware Games Come To Nintendo Switch Online Today
@HammerGalladeBro I'm not buying that unless it comes from HAMSTER Corporation.

@Olrun You would HATE Splatoon 💀
Re: No Gravity Games Is Giving Away 12 Free Switch Games This Month (North America)
@Cheez I don't work for anyone.
Re: Hideki Kamiya Reveals Why He Left PlatinumGames
@Yoshif3 Platinum doesn't even OWN the Astral Chain IP anymore. Nintendo does.
Re: No Gravity Games Is Giving Away 12 Free Switch Games This Month (North America)
@Cheez Rekt is from QUBIC games, NOT No Gravity.
Re: Nintendo Is Still Trying To Fix Splatoon 3's Big Run Reward Bug
@Fizza Every single Switch firmware update since version 15.0.0 has done literally nothing for the regular end user.
Zero feature additions.
Re: Review: Batman: Arkham Trilogy (Switch) - Two Solid Ports, One Technical Disaster
Arkham Asylum and Arkham City look worse than they did on PS3. Turn Me Up Games didn't even try. Why even bother.

Re: 'Atari 50' Is Getting More Games Via Free Updates, 12 Dropping Next Week
I hope they add Circus Atari to non-VCS versions of the game.
Re: 'Atari 50' Is Getting More Games Via Free Updates, 12 Dropping Next Week
@AtlanteanMan No thanks, I'd rather have Hamster Corp. put out an "Arcade Archives Ms. Pac-Man" instead
Re: 'Atari 50' Is Getting More Games Via Free Updates, 12 Dropping Next Week
@kingbk @Captain_Toad I would honestly rather have Warner Bros. put out a Midway collection themselves.
Re: 'Atari 50' Is Getting More Games Via Free Updates, 12 Dropping Next Week
@RupeeClock Tuesday's update only adds 2600 games. As Warbirds is a Lynx game, you'll have to wait a little longer.
