How big is the app on Android? My phone has very little space, and I can't check myself as I live in Canada.
Oh never mind. You need a constant internet connection to play, and my phone doesn't have that. Even if I go to a wifi spot, I doubt every Pokémon is going to be residing in them.
I'll just get the Mon Hun Gen demo, although I probably won't get the game since I've just started playing 4U a few weeks ago and trying to get better at it since I normally am terrible.
@TJF588 I also have Galaxy Force II. It makes better use of the 3D, the effects are really good and the levels are cool. That said, I actually think After Burner II is the more fun of the two. It is a faster game IMO, and it gives a better sense of speed as you're constantly dodging missiles while unleashing a few of your own. I never play GFII anymore after getting ABII.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that GFII is more technologically advanced and makes better use of 3D, but ABII is more fun to play for me.
@Gauchorino Thanks for the comments about SoR. Anyone else have anything to say?
@TJF588 My 2 faves are actually on sale. Out Run and After Burner II are both awesome.
I may get one of the SoRs. I have played SoR 2 on the Wii but I've never played SoR. Maybe I should get that 'cause it's brand new for me. What do you guys think?
This is a pretty cool game for a cheap price. The added stuff is nice. Any Snake fan should enjoy it. It's silly to dismiss something for having simple gameplay. Lots of those types of games are still enjoyable for me.
No SNES games. So disappoint. Sadly The games I really want all have issues with copyrights so I doubt they will appear: SimCity, Star Fox and Yoshi's Cookie.
Not surprising. People these days don't play merely to get high scores, not like in the past when arcades (which are mostly high scoring games) were king.
@Allspice Haha glad I'm not the only one! I'm always so anxious on the final stretch, and I'm always cheering my horse on (Come on, Blazin' Fury! You can do it!)
I honestly find it very thrilling when your own horse manages to overtake every other horse and win, or when your horse is neck to neck with another horse as they pound towards the finish line XD
Does anyone else get really excited when their horse does really well?
@sillygostly Don't agree with you at all. There's lots of fun to be had with simpler games. I bought Spy vs Spy on my phone because I had lots of fun with it on the NES and I wanted to play it again, and it's still just as fun as it was all those years ago. Some games are classics for a reason. Why do people still play Pac-Man?
What's wrong with simple games? Nothing. You imply that they're somehow no longer worth your time. This game doesn't look so bad. I'll probably get it sometime.
I said I'd only play for an hour, and I ended up playing from 1:30 am to 4 am. You'd never think that, but horses and solitaire is actually very addicting.
It'd be nice to get Tomodachi Life again at a reduced cost since my copy got stolen and I didn't want to pay full price to rebuy it again, but I don't have any gold coins.
If that Star Fox theme had the animatronic/puppet characters along with music from the original game, I'd get it in a heartbeat, regardless of price, but it's not.
@Rafx Nice to see another Karnage fan.
@Grumblevolcano There's no point arguing with that guy. Some people just don't see the appeal/point of high-scoring games like rail shooters, pinball and SHMUPs, most likely because they're the type of people who toss a game once they're 'done' with it. They just don't replay games. Nothing you say will make them understand what makes them so fun.
It's sad that people today (not ALL people, but some) don't bother playing games purely for fun anymore. They just go by things such as 'price' and 'length.' To them, a 60+ hour game is 'good' and a 5 hour game is 'terrible,' and not every genre/game even benefits from long playthroughs. Length has no bearing on whether a game is good/worth it or not, people!
@Boshar You said "So please tell us which other train sims on the 3DS do you prefer."
You never said anything about actually driving trains, just 'train sims on the 3DS,' and A-Train IS a train sim.
I'm sure the writer meant that this game isn't as good/involving as the Train Sims on PC. There are better options out there if you game on more than one system/platform.
It'd be nice to play the brand new games, but it's hard to justify buying it though, as I already have 2 of the games in the list, and the other games (previously released on the Eshop) don't interest me at all. It also punishes people who already bought most of the games separately on the Eshop.
It doesn't help that I live in Canada and the game here costs $44.99 +13% tax. That's too high a price just to get a few brand new games. It'd be a lot better if they just released those new games on the Eshop like the rest, but most likely they were added to the retail version just to entice people to pay a whopping price to obtain them.
@tsukipon The Lost Valley is a good game that everyone seems to dislike just because it's not from Marvelous. Capcom made 2 Zelda games and they were well received. Stardew Valley has been very well received and it's not even a HM game. I hope Natsume continues the terraforming aspect (and evolving it) for future HM games. It's a really great feature. I am not very interested anymore in the true HM series. I stopped after ToTT.
I bought their Vita Reel Fishing game recently (it was on sale) and it's pretty good.
Seems pretty pointless. The only ppl you can add are your Twitter/FB friends, so why would I need to talk to those people on this app, when I can just talk to them on Twitter/FB?
Like someone else said earlier, I'd rather see a Tomodachi Life 2 than this app.
@TruenoGT Amazing. I mostly see people saying SF64 is the best game. I hardly see anyone saying the same for the first. The first game is a masterpiece in my eyes. I'm really sad that it has never appeared in any other platform outside of the SNES. I'd LOVE to play it on the 3DS, and in 3D.
@Xenocity As a gamer since the ViC-20, the idea that anything below 95% (seriously? 95?) is 'terrible' is terrible. People actually think this way??? In my day, 50 was considered average, above average was 70, 80 was great, and awesome games were 90, and I still go by it now.
@spurgeonryan Don't lump me in with those guys. I buy lots of Eshop-only games. I DID say I'm getting Lionel City Builder.
@TerrapinJess If you love trains, you should get A-Train on the Eshop. It's the most indepth sim I've ever seen on a handheld. It's like holding a PC game in your hands.
@SakuraHaruka A-Train is right up your alley if you love PC sims.
I was going to wait a bit before getting this, but if the price is going to go though then I should try to get it sooner. It's already $7.89 with tax so it'd probably jump to $10+ after. I'm more interested in the world creation feature than the main mode. I hope the game has plenty of items to create your world though.
Oh, I just saw that the price is good til Jan 31st so I have a bit of time to get it before the increase.
@Spin It'd be cool if they'd just put SimCity on the Eshop, but this is Nintendo we're talking about.
I just want them to release more FF DLC tracks to Curtain Call. There's still a lot of music they could release. All the other music I like don't have enough games in the series to bother making a rhythm game out of, so I'd like them to continue updating CC.

Re: Nintendo Download: 14th July (North America)
@OutCold At night usually. They never come out same time as the games.
I'd love some TG-16 games on the 3DS. Blazing Lazers anyone?
Re: Nintendo Download: 14th July (North America)
OMG. MH Themes, MH badges, and MH Gens!!! So many coolness and awesomeness today!!!!!
Getting the game physically, just bought a ton of badges, and I'm going to get at least one theme. Yay!
Re: A Duo Of TurboGrafx-16 Games Hit The Wii U Virtual Console In North America Today
@Spoony_Tech Me too, but on the 3DS please. I don't have/want a WiiU.

Re: Nintendo Download: 7th July (North America)
Nothing for me. Good too, 'cause I'm going to be hunting monsters with kittehs next week.
Re: Nintendo Download: 30th June (North America)
I'll just get the Mon Hun Gen demo, although I probably won't get the game since I've just started playing 4U a few weeks ago and trying to get better at it since I normally am terrible.
Don't want any of the games listed.
Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd June (North America)
Nothing for me. Slim pickings for the 3DS, and I already have Super Ghouls and Ghosts on PSP.
Re: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Treble Heading to the North American eShop This Week
Not getting any, because none of them are coming to the 3DS.
Re: Feature: Our Top 20 Highest Rated 3DS eShop Games
I only have 4 in the list and one's not even a game. I'd really only put 1 of the 3 in my list though.
Re: Nine SEGA 3D Classics Get Discounts in North America
@Gauchorino Well, since nobody else helped me, I will most likely get SOR now.

I can't get gold star on the 2nd last level, and the last level is so big that I have no idea how to complete it!
Re: Review: Sssnakes (3DS eShop)
@David_NL It's only clunky when you're short. You move faster when you grow longer.

I got the monster paws :3
Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd June (North America)
I'll get Sssnakes one day.

Re: SurveyMonkey Intelligence Breaks Down the Declining Usage of Miitomo
Well I play it everyday and it seems my friends are still answering questions.
Re: Nintendo Download: 12th May (North America)
Nothing. I've already gotten a game that's worse than crack last week.
Re: retroUSB's HDMI NES, the AVS, is Heading for a Summer Release
@Hamster_Overlord That pic you're using for your avatar is very cute. I used to have pet hamsters.

For some reason my save didn't carry over from the demo, but that's okay. I wanted to start over anyway.
Re: Nintendo Download: 5th May (North America)
I'm getting Pocket Jockey something-or-other.

@Boshar A-Train City Simulator. It's also an actual simulation. Not saying this game is terrible, but it's not much of a simulation.

Re: Poll: The Utterly Charming Animal Crossing Series Is 15 Today, But Which Is Your Favourite?
The GCN one. I didn't care/like any of the others. HHD and Festival shouldn't count since they're spinoffs.

Re: Nintendo Download: 28th January (North America)
Crazy Train sounds interesting.
