Re: Review: Final Fantasy VIII Remastered - The Weirdest Entry In The Series Is Still Worth A Look On Switch

To be honest, VIII is my fave FF game next to VI and XII, and 2 of the 3 games listed are often cited as being one of the worst in the series. I either have bad taste in games, or my tastes are different than everyone else's. I don't need remasters. I have it on PC already.

Also, it's just poor taste to fill a review with spoilers. You should never assume that because it's old, 'everyone' has already played/seen it.

OMG another Japanese Rail Sim game has come out. Man, I wish they also released another Airport Hero game too. That's what I want.

I just bought 209 dollars worth of figures today for my Christmas present, so I'm not about to buy anything else so soon.

Since I hate Mario Kart and someone said it's more like Sonic All-Stars Transformed, it seems like I'd like this game already, although the only IP from that game I actually care about is the turtles (and will only play as them). I don't have a single console it's on though. Oh well.

It's funny how quickly you guys dismiss a game based on one (or perhaps two) review(s). At least that's the impression I always get when I read these comments. I'd have missed out on so many good games if I did the same.

Doesn't seem like a good hunting sim with no tracks and no blood trails. I mean, how can you actually find animals then???

The best hunting game is still theHunter IMO. Nothing comes close to it. theHunter: Call of the Wild may have gorgeous environments, but the hunting is more arcadey than the original, which doesn't do it for me.

For the record, I love animals and don't approve hunting for sport. Hunting games though are fun.

@Bombdotorg999 IMO theHunter and the Carnivores (Dinosaur Hunter and Ice Age) series are the best hunting games. People say the early Deer Hunter games are very good, but I've never played them. Hunting Unlimited 2010 and the Carnivores remake are decent. Lots of games, like the Cabela series, though, aren't true hunting sims. They're just glorified arcade shooters.

In short, all the good hunting games are PC-only, although some of them, like Carnivores, are on mobile as well.

Never knew they made a Nemesis II on the GB.

Happy Contra's in the list. Unhappy 6 Golden Coins is in the list. Unhappy Revenge of the 'Gator, Super Mario Land and Shanghai is absent from the list. SML IMO is far superior to SML II.

@RegularGameFan What are you talking about? SML II: 6 Golden Coins is in the list.

Re: Anniversary: It's Been 25 Years Since Star Fox Barrel Rolled Onto Super Nintendo

Star Fox is by far the best game in the entire series, and it has aged pretty well IMO. The polygons are crisp, clean and aesthetically pleasing. Judging from all the comments though, it seems I'm pretty much the only one who doesn't find anything wrong with the graphics. I actually prefer them over SF64's textured polygons.

Star Fox 64 isn't bad, but it has nothing on the original masterpiece. One of the best soundtracks ever as well.
