@grumblebuzzz You're only assuming that every person has several such systems to play games on. If someone has a Wii U and do not have a mobile device, then the fact that the mobile game costs less than the Wii U version isn't actually a benefit to that person when he/she can't play it on that device anyway. The lower price point isn't going to matter to that person.

Going along similar lines, there are some Vita games that are also on PC (I game on both), but at a higher price, and I think that paying a higher price is a good trade off to be able to play those games 'on the go,' especially those games that seem better suited to a handheld anyway. I'd buy most of my PC indie games on the Vita if they were ported over.

NSMB is a terrible game, IMO, so I'm surprised it's in the top 10, although at least it's actually in 10th place. No surprise about the top spot though. SMW is the best Mario platformer ever. I dunno if Super Mario Land is considered a spin off or not, but I would've put that in my top 10.

The only LCD games I've ever gotten were the G&Ws. My parents got me DKII when I sick while on vacation, to cheer me up. I also had Octopus and several others.

I find it sad that the people of today dismiss LCD games are 'dated,' 'primitive' and 'who wants to play those?' I much prefer the classic versions of G&W games to the updated modern ones found in the G&W Gallery collections. People should give these classic games the respect they deserve.

Well one good thing I could say about this game is that you can get JUST cats. Nintendogs + Cats requires you to have at least one dog in order to make money to buy food/items (since cats can't), so if you love cats but for some unfathomable reason hate dogs, you're out of luck getting JUST cats in that game.

THIS game lets you have JUST cats, which is a plus for cat lovers-only fans.

I wish we could EDIT our posts. If it was me reviewing, I'd give it a 7 or an 8. I really hate giving out random numbers to reviews, though, but unique games like this can be really fun if you're interested in the subject. The dialog between air control and the pilot in this series sounds really authentic to me, and watching those planes fly around, especially while they're landing or taking of at night, is really cool. Anyone who loves planes and/or wanting to be an ATC should get it.

I'm not getting anything, but all simulation fans should buy A-Train, especially with that permanent discount.

I also don't know why Rail Sim Kyoto is $20 (probably even more in Canada) but the previous game (Suburbs) is only $10.

Darnit you can't edit posts. My mistake. Best of Mahjong and Best of Solitaire are from cosmigo. They're only $2.99 and $3.99 Canadian.Wow, I just checked Best of Board Games: Mahjong and it's $12.99 Canadian. BLARGH. Really, I have both Best of... games and they're the best Mahjong and Solitaire games available on the Eshop. You don't need any other game!

Why would you need another pet sim when Nintendogs + Cats is available? I haven't seen anything better than that game. The dogs (and cats) actually move realistically (and not like a robot; ie stiff like other games I've seen) and the models are better.

@rjejr I dunno why Godzilla's Revenge gets such a bad rep. It's a really good kid's movie IMO. I've liked it loads when I was a kid, and it has a soft spot for me now. There's nothing 'wrong' about it. It's like people don't want kids watching Gojira movies or something.

No love for Airport?? It's a rather unique series and if you love planes you should give it a try. It seems most people don't like playing anything 'out of the box.' Being more open minded, I have played many good games that other people refuse to try.

I don't have the funds to get it right now, but I will eventually.

Getting the dog and cow themes!! Just to let you guys know, the themes are 99 cents each, or 2.99 for the bundle.
Depending on the discount though, I may have enough to get SoR and a theme instead. If not, I'll just get the two themes.

@Kaihaku I still have the cartridge too, but no system I'm pretty sure Argonaut owns part (or all) of the SFX chip, and this copyright issue is preventing the game from being released digitally. Either that or the composer (who made one of the best soundtracks ever made BTW) has something to do with it.

Although there's many half-assed simulation games for every profession out there, there's some that are actually very good, and are great games to relax with after a stressful day. Euro Truck Simulator 2 for example is one of the best games I've ever played. It's incredibly relaxing to drive a truck (with cargo) hundreds of miles across the European country while listening to your own music. Even people who have never played a sim before have ended up getting addicted to the demo and end up buying it. I highly recommend it.

@Einherjar It has to do with the fact all the other games that won are all classic titles that helped shape the industry. WoW is the odd one out. Sure, WoW is the best selling MMO ever, but there are loads of other, older, games too that helped jumpstart a genre that would've been better choices; games like Ultima for instance, or SimCity. MMOs are a rather 'new' genre compared to SHMUPs, RPGs, city builders, etc.
