Re: Feature: The Full Story Behind Star Fox 2, Nintendo's Most Famous Cancellation

@liveswired For someone who said "...you try to enforce your opinions on everyone on this post," you seem to be doing the exact same thing with this phrase of yours:

"In my and many others opinion Star Fox SNES has aged terribly both aesthetically and technically," and all your posts keep enforcing your idea that what you said is 100% right.

Yeah, so you and some other people think this, but for other people, like Kirk and I, we think Star Fox hasn't aged terribly. It's sad that you think we only like it because of "nostalgia." Some games are considered classics for a reason. It has nothing to do with "nostalgia." It's my opinion that Star Fox is a great game and is the best game in the series, but remember, it's only my opinion.

You may not like our opinion, but it in NO WAY means we're wrong.

You know how Nintendo games rarely, if ever, go down in price? That's 'cause people keep buying them at full price that Nintendo doesn't -need- to lower the price 'cause people are going to buy these games regardless. That probably explains their sales. It's lucky for me that I don't care for most of Nintendo's games though, so lack of sales normally don't bother me. I play more third party games on Nintendo systems than Nintendo games, so I look for sales for those games.

I was thinking of getting a $20 Eshop card, and this sale now seems like a good time to get it.

@ericthecheese Well NL's review is an 8 so they seem to like it. I'd only get it though if people are actually releasing QR codes for their creations. If nobody is playing it, then there's little reason for me to get it.

No, I don't have the game. Hopefully someone here will give you more info about it.

I'm definitely getting Steel Empire this week. I may also get Journey to Kyoto and/or AiRace speed.
Still no sign of Lionel City Builder...

You guys are hard to please. There's some nice stuff here on sale. You not wanting them doesn't mean 'this sale sucks!' Other people, like me, may want them.

@Kiyata_Hamasaki Hi, since you have the game can you answer a question for me? Does the game let you save midway, such as Parcheesi/Ludo? I want to get the game specifically for that. I have another game collection on the PSP/Vita, with some of the same games from here, but sadly there's some bug in Parcheesi where if you save and load the game back later, all the rules you've selected gets reverted to the default rules and messes up the game. Been looking for another game collection with Parcheesi since.

Doesn't seem like any one of you are SHMUP fans, with all those 'I won't buy this game til it's really really cheap,' and 'It's not worth the asking price' comments. Only non-fans would say something like that. I just paid $34.99 for DariusBurst on the Vita and it's awesome. Steel Empire's visuals look really nice. Nintendo's handhelds barely have any SHMUPs compared to Sony's handhelds, and this looks like a steal at $15.99 whatever, although I'm in Canada so it'd probably be bumped up to $17 or so. It's nice to see quality SHMUPs on a Nintendo handheld, and not bullet hell either. I really hate bullet hell SHMUPs.

I'm not getting anything.

The Mahjong game on sale now is really good, but there's an even better one that's just as cheap too if any of you're interested in getting it. It's called Best of Mahjong:

It`s by far the best solitaire Mahjong game I`ve played on the 3DS. Excellent stuff and incredibly cheap.

Not to be confused with Best of Board Games: Mahjong. It's a totally different game.

It`s not so good and the price is astronomical.

@NandN3ds While I do like some games on the Eshop (I have loads of them already), I find that the Vita has a far better indie lineup. There's lots more games on there that I'm interested in, which sadly the 3DS doesn't get at all, such as Aqua Kitty, Spelunky (pretty sure it's not on 3DS but I could be wrong), Flame Over, The Organ Trail, NekoBuro CatsBlock, etc.

@russellohh Wow, you really -are- rude. I never said that beloved games are stupid. Not every single popular game interests me (like CoD), but that doesn't mean I think they're 'LOL STUPID' like you seem to think. Like I said, there are some games are that are trashed constantly by people that I love, such as Dino D-Day and SimCity but I don't rag on those people that hate them. I think you're just assuming that every single game 'loved by millions' is going to appeal to EVERYONE. That is simply not true. Having no interest in a game doesn't mean I think it's awful or bad.. I never judge games until I play them, just to let you know, so until I play it, I'll just be indifferent over it. Again, why do you even care if someone doesn't share your love for something? Just leave it.

You guys are pretty rude, you know. You call out someone for saying x games are garbage, but you probably don't like some games yourself. Maybe her choice of wording is bad, but she's perfectly entitled to like, and dislike, various games. Why would you care about someone who doesn't have the same tastes as yours? I like lots of games lots of people hate, and I hate games that lots of people like, but I don't badger people who like the games I dislike. Why can't you guys be more civil to each other?

How much space does the YGO game take? I've always wanted a YGO game for the 3DS/Vita, and it's pretty cheap now with the sale. Sucks that it has less characters, but then I don't care for any YGO series but the original series anyway so I guess it's not really -that- bad. The game's going to have a ton of cards I've never heard before too. It's been sooooo long since I've played it.

Re: Review: Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (3DS)

Based on the review, I'd rather play this than a main game. I really hate the real time clock and it's not so fun to me. I dunno why everyone is so mad/upset over a simple spin-off. Since when does a spin-off have to be exactly like the main games? You people seem to take it a tad too far IMO. Lots of spin-offs are pretty good, and they've deviated quite a bit from the main games. Why can't people treat them as separate entities and enjoy them for what they are, instead of blindly hating it for what it doesn't have? You guys seem to want everything the same over and over and over, thus limiting creativity to do something different and possibly exciting. I wish people could be a little more open minded. I could have missed on some fantastic games if I wasn't open minded.
