Re: Random: Which One Of These Cursed Game Boy Colors Is Your Favourite?

Give me large-screened Montana, please!
As for the worst, besides the pile in the northeast that are too small to deal with, Nevada looks the most likely to squirt from your hands with the angles. Then again, with Michigan in two pieces, how many parts would Hawaii be made of, and how soon would the 5 year old lose all of them?

Yeah, they still use the IMPROVED animation style. Characters are expressive. You get all sorts of poses and body language. Before Sun and Moon, everything was done with stock poses. Take a screenshot, it would look beautiful. Watch it in motion, and it was lifeless. Now, it's the opposite, and I'll take bad screenshots over bad animation.

Re: Poll: One Week to Go - How Are Your Nintendo Switch Presentation Hype Levels?

One feature I'd love to see would be the ability to hold the pad up and down for some very unwieldy 3DS gameplay in 2D - somehow, I don't see that happening.

The Switch is going to need a killer day 1 library to get a spot in my place... I have too many games on retro Nintendo systems, plus the Wii/WiiU and 3DS to justify a "switchover" early in the cycle.

Re: Feature: Looking for Hits in the Latest StreetPass Games

I've about given up on StreetPass, as misinformation still runs rampant. No, having it on won't drain your battery, give away your personal information, brick your system, take away your puzzle pieces, let hackers steal your data, or cause lag in the games you're playing. All excuses I hear regularly when I pass by someone playing, and ask the person why I didn't just get a StreetPass from them.

Re: Weirdness: We've Made Some Outlandish E3 2016 Predictions for No Real Reason

You left out the big three announcements:

1) Twitch functionality added to both WiiU and 3DS,
2) Cross-platform finally added, allowing virtual console games to be played on both systems, and
3) The Vitality Sensor finally being released, and a mandatory firmware update makes you HAVE to use it, and if your vitals go out of the safe range at any moment, you are forced to take a 30 minute break.

Heh. I haven't bothered with the dub since the original dub, where it was "Hercule", Master Roshi read blank magazines and drank foamy mugs of water, and nobody died because building were empty and they jumped out of helicopters before they exploded.

Re: Talking Point: Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem Could Provide Nintendo's Mobile Breakthrough With Fans

When it comes to if these games will be worthy of spending my time on, I'm not holding my breath. Miitomo only has my attention for the Platinum points, Pokémon Shuffle became worthless to play once folks started using jailbroken/rooted phones to play, and Pokémon Go! isn't looking that exciting.

There's a chance that they're putting a lot of work into this, and that's why the E3 showing this year is practically nonexistent.

That said, if they're free to start, I'll give them a shot.
