I've already snagged Warioware and the Mario theme; all my points will build up from here on in until awards I want show up for platinum points. I don't need any of the discounts they have available, I can only have one theme active at a time, so there's no need for another that I really don't want, and Picross probably isn't worth the points. That said, if the points build up really quickly, I might snag it anyway.
A lot of the "no reason" stuff isn't no reason at all. Small kids who have their levels removed often have their own name in the name of their levels. Sharing personal information over Miiverse is a no-no, and your level's name shows up on Miiverse. The same goes for dirty language in level names, no matter how "tame" it seems.
When in doubt, aim for G-rated for your own safety.
Case in point on rule 2: Almost every course I see has someone clearing it in about five seconds, even if it takes over a minute to play because of the length. That's the kind of cheater I think they're going to go after. It's outright trolling.
Go ahead, go back to the featured courses to unlock mystery mushroom characters. Look at the record times on them. THAT'S what Nintendo wants to stamp out.
One nice thing about the free plays is that you can switch machines - go after badges you really want instead of the machines that set you up in.
I just wish you could save your free plays up for the future instead of having to use them right away; I'd love to have some Kirby and Pokémon badges to decorate the screens with, but they're not out yet.
Remember Flipnote Hatena? Remember how there would be hundreds of "chat room" threads instead of the software being used to make artwork? Miiverse has become much like that on a lot of boards. These changes SHOULD clean that up somewhat.
I've seen a .1 difference. Oh, and there WAS ink down on that video... because some folks were NOT on their base! When you are in squid mode, outside your base, you are 0.1% covering the board. If you want a tie, all four players must be standing still, NOT DANCING! When time was up, one orange team member must either have been overlapping another or in midair or on their base.
Less stuff in the store, more repeats of games they've offered before. My points are all going to go to waste if they don't start offering decent stuff.
Hmm, the Dedede and Mega Man figures both look like they don't have any ugly plastic support rods... combine that with them being two of my favorite smashers, and I think I have two that will be going into my collection.

Re: Fooling The World With a 3D Printed NX Controller
Now if the Coleco Chameleon guys would have put that much effort into their console fake, they could still be scamming us today...
Re: Star Fox Zero's Stage Names Are Another Delicious Throwback
Here's hoping they still have a way to go off the map and fight origami enemies and a giant slot machine again.

Re: Pokémon Comaster is Revealed as Another Upcoming Smart Device Release
@Capn That was the first thing I thought of when I saw the playfield layout. I think you have it right.

Too many comments, didn't read them all.

Re: Poll: Nintendo's Free-to-Play Experiments - Are You Still Playing?
Someone should do a video with the startup time for Badge Arcade on an old 3DS and the new 3DS - the difference is phenomenal.

And now they need to have a Skinny Yoshi powerup...
Re: Poll: Which Is The Best Super Mario Platformer? - 30th Anniversary Edition
Too bad you didn't include Mario Hotel in there...

Re: Sharing to Miiverse in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is a Breeze
"In addition to posting images to Twitter and Facebook via the Image Sharing feature - as was the case in Aminal Crossing: New Leaf"
Aminal Crossing? I think I like the typo better than the original.
Re: Video: Unboxing the Yarn Yoshi amiibo & Seeing How it Works in Yoshi's Woolly World
... did they include the pattern to make a Yoshi out of the yarn? If you could put that on the site, odds are I'd fill my room with yarn Yoshis...

Try your experiment again, folks.
Re: Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Palico Village DX Heading to Japan This Year
Hey, seems a lot like Animal Crossing with Felynes. I'd play it.

Has nobody realized that a pear tree will never have a chair in it, as furniture will only drop from non-fruit trees?
Re: Weirdness: Legless Peach amiibo Now Up For Sale
I'm hoping to find a Kirby or Villager with a misstamped face myself...
Re: The November Club Nintendo Rewards Are Now Up For Grabs
My original comment still stands. Absolutely nothing I"m willing to spend coins on that I haven't in the past.
