Pokémon GO has had a veritable smorgasbord of apps and websites dedicated to providing additional information for the budding Pokémaniac, sometimes not always for wholly positive reasons in the eyes on Niantic.
Thankfully the site featured in the video above is built with the best intentions of providing users with a conclusive database of PokéStops and Pokémon Gyms, likely using the Ingress databases as a reference as they share much of the same code. You can check out the site for yourself by clicking here.
Do you feel using this sort of site is still cheating? Let us know down in the comments.

Not a bad map. Better than logging into Ingress and working with the laggy map they have.
Bookmarked the site so that before my next roadtrip, I can plan ahead for any stop clusters that won't be too far out of my way. Thanks, Alex!
I wouldn't count this as cheating, though I wouldn't be surprised if Niantic banned players using this (if they were logged into the same google account of course).
Don't know why you would need to check in. Just found out town hall a few blocks away has 15 Pokestops, and the wifi there is pretty good too, so we wont' even need to use the data plan, just walk around 1 pond and stock up.
Thanks NL.
Good mapping system. I still don't get why many of these apps and sites are still called "cheating" as they just help you play the game more effectively. It's not like this site will take your phone on a virtual trip around your neighborhood for you. But then again there are those that call strategy guides cheating.
Go really sucks if you don't live in a city.
You got to be F-ing kidding me (sorry for the vague language). I was searching for a site/app just like this one for 3 weeks, but all I found were the community inputs ones. I give up 4 days ago now this pops up (with ease). Bittersweet victory for me.
Besides using it for personal non-cheating reason (I think) to explore around my state physically, I also wanted to use it to learn more about this area

It is not 100% accurate it is missing quite a bit. I looked at my hometown and it shows only one of the 3 gyms there and none of the pokestops
Nice map, definitely going to save this in bookmarks.
@jpfan1989 Agreed. One area I was in late summer is entirely lacking documentation on its highest density of Pokestops in the area (we're talking a small barrier island that only has about 3 of its 30+ Pokestops, and zero of its 5+ gyms...and considering how valuable the area is in terms of Pokemon rarity, that's significant).
I tried to use the "request region update" button on the site to see if it would let me mark one of the gym locations, but to be perfectly honest, I have no idea what it did, or even if it did anything.
Edit: apparently it did...because now a little while later I checked back and the area is now filled with potential locations that are ready to be verified as gyms or pokestops. I guess all that had to be done was for someone to 'initiate' the area for mapping. I will note that it is clearly pulling these from Ingress's map system though...NOT all may be correct, since not all portals were transferred over to be pokestops/gyms. But that's why they have a voting feature, to weed out erroneous entries.
Pretty sweet! I'll definitely be consulting this the next time I need to book a hotel!
