Super Mario Odyssey is no doubt going to be absolutely rife with easter eggs, that's part and parcel for a mainline Mario game, but one particularly observant Reddit user by the name of seanmacproductions has discovered one in the game's supposed theme Jump Up, Super Star!, sung by series veteran Pauline.

A short series of notes at one point is absolutely identical to those used when Mario (or 'Jumpman' as he was then known) successfully overcame a barrel or similarly terrifying object in the original Donkey Kong.
