It's been an exciting week for fans of fighting games with Joker unveiled for Mortal Kombat 11, Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (even if Sakurai doesn't necessarily think it's always a fighting game), and last but not least, another Goku teased for Bandai Namco's 2018 release, Dragon Ball FighterZ.

This time around it's his Ultra Instinct form. If you've watched the anime Dragon Ball Super, you should know exactly what we're talking about. If you haven't though, it's essentially his ultimate fighting form.

This news about Goku (Ultra Instinct) being added to DBFZ as a downloadable character was revealed in the latest issue of Japanese magazine V-Jump. More details about the fighter will be shared at the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals 2019 - 2020, between 8th - 9th February in Paris, France.

And in case you're wondering, according to our friends over at Push Square, this is the sixth playable Goku to be featured in the game. The existing ones include Super Saiyan Goku, Goku Black, Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Base Form Goku, and Goku GT (this excludes the fusions).

Is this version of Goku you've been waiting to play as? Tell us below in the comments.
